You have no idea the amount of fibro, back surgery, migraine, and arthritis in my neck pain I live with. I have tried all kinds of meditation, chiro, physical therapy, prayer but YOU gave me relief in one session. I cried.i have been such a burden to my family and friends as I age. I am 73 now. This all started when I was 20. Thank God for letting me find you. I can’t believe how my neck and back feel. I will be back to you tonight.

I have been suffering with chronic headaches since I was about 13, I’m now 27 and I’ve been diagnosed with greater occipital neuralgia and I have tried all sorts of things like, medication, physio, acupuncture to name a few and still nothing has got rid of this pain. This is the first meditation video that I’ve watched that has literally made me cry and helped whilst listening to “feel” what it would be like with a life without constant pain. This was amazing, even though my headache came a few minutes after the video ending, it honestly gave me an incredible release whilst listening and I’m so grateful.

I've had severe chronic pain in my abdomen for three years now after an injury and the doctors still can't figure out why. It has caused me to become depressed. Yesterday I finally decided that I need to put my best effort into trying to make it better, so every day I'm going to spend an hour doing PT stretches and some yoga. I'm in a lot of pain when I finish with that and I just found this video. Thank you so much, this is very relaxing. I'm going to incorporate this into my daily routine of trying to get better.

Sara, Thank you so much for this meditation. I’ve been dealing with chronic pain for over 20 years due to Lyme disease and have been meditating for years. I cried while doing this meditation but when I finished I had a feeling of hope that I’ve not felt before. This is certainly a meditation I will be doing regularly.

I bow down to you in gratitude. I suffer from chronic inflammation of the spine and the pain is unbearable. This meditation made a lot of difference - in my thinking, in my approach. I will not say that the pain is gone but I have immense hope that now I will be totally pain free after listening to this daily. They say you find even find God if you really search. I found you. Suffered for 10 long years from crippling pain. For the first time, felt better. Thank you. Thank you. Subscribed to you. Love from India

May I ask what chronic inflammation of the spine is? I wonder if that’s what I have. I’ve have back pain since I was about 14, and I’m now almost 67. Every day is horrible to even turn over in bed. My back is full if herniations, bulges, spurs, and a deformity in the curve if my back. My hips rotate sideways, and I have to see a chiropractor constantly. Im only 100 lbs, so how did this happen? I’m not supposed to lift more than 5 lbs. How can I do that when I have a house and pets to take care of? How did you find out what you had?

God bless you! I have had chronic pain since I was a child due to a spinal deformity, which I never knew I had. I also had a vivid dream that I was in a war and was cut in half with a saber! It’s the same place as where my pain is. Hmmm…
      I am praying for you.

I came across this video by mere chance. Had terrible back and ankle pain. At first, thought to myself - how would a video help with my physical pain.
But gave it a try anyways, as I had tried - heat pad, ice pack, physical therapy, rest etc.
To my surprise, I was pain free once I finished this video. Am still awestruck, how a video can work with physical pain.
Brain did the trick. Thank you so much for making it, sharing it with everyone. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I’ve done this meditation almost daily or nightly as I’m falling asleep for a few weeks. I love it. I find myself repeating the words in it to myself to calm me down when my pain is very amplified “can you be ok with this pain right now?” So freeing. Because what else can we do? And the more we can not freak out about it, the shorter time it will be around

I've never done meditation before, I don't know what pushed me to try today but I'm so glad I did. For those twenty minutes, I wasn't hurting anymore. I lost myself in your voice and my breathing pattern and when you said to conjure up an image of a healthy body, I had tears in my eyes from the sheer longing. Thank you so much, I'll be coming back as often as I can, every day even.

I get that way, too when I think about how it would be not to have pain. How wonderful would that be? To be able to walk, run, do things I want without having to worry about how I’ll feel! I am suffering from arthritys and your words spread love and compassion for me... I started meditating and approaching spirituality only now.. but I understand we are not our pain! It is only an experience in a mortal form.. We are free stars that came out from the universe! I hope one day the people in this world will stop their hate and realize they are loving awareness!!

I’ve done this meditation maybe 5 times total now. Half the times I just cried the whole time and found it harder and harder to believe I will live without this pain someday. I’m 25 now and have been in pain for 10 years. It honestly feels so unfair to have chronic pain at such a young age. I have no insurance so I’m not diagnosed but I think I have fibromyalgia and maybe arthritis like my grandmother. I am also autistic and I feel it’s hard to exist in society under these conditions.

Hi Sara! This meditation has helped me in ways I can't explain, I use it twice a day and have been for a couple months now. The difference in my pain and the way I feel about it is beyond incredible. I was wondering, could you make a video for chronic pain affirmations? I think that it would help myself and many others to change thoughts about how we feel about our pain and the often negative and stressful reactions we can have when suffering through a bout of pain. Thanks so much for everything you do,

Thank you so much ! I am a subscriber to your channel and I wanted, I really needed to say a deep, heart-felt thank you for being a resource, super podcast that assists people with chronic pain disorders. This video is a God send, and I wanted you to know that it is such a gift; the video hits exactly a wonderful balance between spoken word and time to visualize your body with a very happy end result. People may have to deal with chronic pain which does affect every aspect of their lives BUT with this resource here on RUclips, I wanted to certainly share that this gift has helped me so many times as part of my pain regime. I find this very useful for helping me and my relationship with Chronic pain syndrome, acceptance is the key to it.
Some people say it doesn’t help, I think that they are expecting too much; I interpret the freedom from pain as being the emotional freedom rather than the physical freedom which for me works. If you can accept the pain and accept that you will get emotional freedom then like me the physical pain becomes less dominant and so has less of an impact on your life.
I’ve only just recently realised this and still have a way to go but I am already feeling more positive and suffering less, being more active and generally more pleasant to live with (ask my wife!).
Thank you so much for your time and effort producing meditations like this, they are so helpful to people like myself especially if they learn how to use them! Peace and love 🙏💖🙏💖

It has taken me a long time to be open to this type of approach, having had chronic pain for many, many, years. I've been meditating for a long time, but the approach which you suggest in this recording is particularly useful -ie aiming to change the way one thinks about the pain, and forging new neural pathways.

    Dear Mindful Movement
I have been practicing daily for four months. After 24 years of chronic pain and disability, I have not been able to lower my pain medication, YET. However I have been able to almost totally ditch the prescribed sleeping pills, for which I am grateful. Better quality sleep has given me the strength to deal with pain more mindfully, and be more patient, and easier to be around. Thank you Sara, all the best to you and your husband.

I have emotional pain stuck in my physical body and this meditation helped to shift it out, for at least this moment. What came up to me at the end of the meditation was that I am identifying with the pain. And a fear presented itself as I do not know how not to live without pain. Interesting thought that I will need to reflect upon more deeply.

This worked. I'd tried the secret garden video, elsewhere, but the wood pigeon grated on my nerves. I couldn't decide which plants to enjoy, the wildlife was just a hedgehog, 2 bees and 1 butterfly so I invite my crazy Yorkie along, and I couldn't get onto the hammock. My facial neuralgia kicked off, too. But this was very, very relaxing. I snoozed and felt refreshed. I recommend it. Thank you.

@@allies.8811 I was on Butrans patches for chronic pain, they didn't help me much either and made me constipated; I started to get a rash under the patch so had to come off them. I now take 1 or 2 tramadol a day and practice meditation in particular acceptance and relaxation, this is a really good one if you are mindful and accept the pain and then accept the emotional healing. When you manage to do that the physical pain will get better, less stress and anxiety means less physical pain. I hope this helps you to understand and come to terms with your pain like it did me! Peace and love 🙏💖🙏💖

@@DarrellW_UK I'm just back from hospital and on fentanyl patches now. Constipation never was an issue due to my crohn's disease. On the contrary. High opiate dosage make my gut work almost normal. Except when given as pills. I guess my gut is so damaged it can't process pills anymore. Happy for you that your therapy is working. I'll be on physio rehab from 23rd of july for 4-5 weeks. Wish me luck... Bcs rn the pain is so unbearable that it's making it almost impossible to deal with even the most basic day to day tasks and my life is but a constant struggle.

When you say imagine the images of both pain and painless area turn wise in my body, I tried so hard to imagine them in the form of colour, first I saw them but later, my concentration is more towards pain than these images. It might because I am here for the first time in your guauded meditation. I liked the way you guided, thank you so much for such incredible guided meditation. And I think I will be listening your guided meditation regularly and practice it. 😊
