Hello ma'am, thank you so much for the tips. I'd do well to practice them. However, do you think this is applicable to public speaking and voice acting? Cause, I personally feel it's apt only during a conversation not during presentation. As we're always told to put life into our presentation during public speaking and voice over, depending on what you're trying to pass across. It shouldn't be calm all the way. I'm confused at this point, cause I'm someone who speaks calmly at the start of a public presentation, but in the process I begin to sound energetic, rush my words and put much emphasis into my presentation. Though, I usually notice the rapt attention in my audience , which has always given me the notion of a good public speaker, but stumbling on your video yesterday, makes me ask myself if I was doing it right or are these tips majorly meant for dialoguing?
@chellyberk fun fact, I’m holding a training next month and one of the feedback I received was that my voice is too calm and it’ll put the participants to sleep. I laughed because my conversation voice and presentation voice are two different things so you’re right. This is helpful during personal conversations while you want to be energetic and “perform” during public speaking or a presentation.
it's so funny how difficult yet easy this is. it's difficult to break away from what your used to and your habits, but it's so easy because soft, beautiful, femininity is our nature.
Tell me about it. The first step for me was to accept that change was possible. I grew up in a house with really strong women who would often neglect their feminine energy. So for me, that was what I should aspire to be like.
when i was younger (teens to early 20s) i had a very soft, feminine voice. i loved my voice and they way i spoke. then something traumatic happened to me and i realized my voice totally changed. i lost my old personality almost in my voice, the way i speak sounds so flat and harsh and i hate it. i've been watching videos to try to break free from that and find my voice again and yours has been so helpful!!
Speaking in the mirror may help. I’m the same way. My voice is very high pitched. I’m also a teacher with ADD. I’m extremely impulsive. I’m recently into my mid-fifties and about to retire. I want to sound different.
I am literally trying to teach my children this. Or I should say unteach them this bad habit I taught them. Ahhh joys of motherhood... most times I feel like I am learning just as much as they are! Makes me wish I didn't wait till my 30s to have my first child!
I wish I could say I “stumbled” across this video but I didn’t. I absolutely looked up “how to speak softer” and your video popped up. I really felt weird about looking this up because I’ve kinda accepted that I’m an aggressive talker. But I no longer want that for me. I’ve been happily single for about 2 years and focusing on growing my business. But I think that has put me deeeeeep in my masculine energy and I noticed I’m so unaligned with my energy. I want to be more intentional with the way I speak. Thank you
I appreciate your authentic voice in the video. Unlike other videos where the voice feels forced, yours feels genuine. Also, those examples you included? Absolute perfection! *Chef's kiss*
I didn't realize that I talked too much until I sat down with a new friend who talked a lot. It was soooo exhausting for me to keep up with the conversations and usually just excused myself. After 2 or 3 encounters with him I started questioning my own character of speech and I realized I sounded just like him to other people's ears. So now before I talk, I often ask myself if it's necessary and mind my tone. I'm glad I came across this video as it has given me more insights. Thank you so much.
Back to school is coming soon and I'm moving to a new high school with people I don't know so I want there to be another look at me. I want to be more feminine and take care of myself more and I want to become stronger and more assertive. I want everyone who sees me to remember me and be noticed. And i'm working on this✨🧜🏻♀️
The older I get, the less emphasis I place on appearance although that is always a consideration. But now I pay much more attention to a woman’s voice. Soft, slow, intentional, good enunciation and throw in pleasant eye contact and I find this very alluring and attractive. Loud, vindictive, sarcastic or antagonistic speech is an instant turn off for me. Another side note is the volume of speech. I find that too many women simply talk too much. Just some observations from the male perspective. And I actually got a few ideas that I need to work on my own speech as a man.
I searched out lessons on becoming a more elegant woman. I grew up in a chaotic, violent, loud, fear induced home and my behavior was a direct reflection on the position my father had in the church. When I left home, the bubble I was raised in, I left those behaviors behind too. The problem is I adopted new ones. This video sparked the interest in continuing to discover who I am. Thank you

I truly needed this. I am a loud person. My friend keeps telling me to lower my voice while talking... it's so embarrassing. I stutter and it is natural so I tend to use energy to pronounce some words. Thank you for this video
My voice is naturally strong, and due to some trauma of my own, aggression has unfortunately been added to the mix. I'm seeking out videos like this as I heal from the trauma so I can move forward in a softer way. I wanted to share this just to encourage you that you're not alone, and WE can absolutely develop the voices we desire 🙏🏻💓
I stumbled upon this video and I don’t think it was a coincidence because I am on this journey of self development. I have never been a girly girl, not that I haven’t tried, it just always felt like something forced. Anyway I’m being very intentional about changing the way I speak, because I find that I am little aggressive and unnecessarily too. Thank you for posting this! Thank you for building women! Cheers Queen 🥂👑
This was soo me till the kids start popping out,4 kids now and i can't even recognise my own voice cos of the constant talking,my kids are super super active and is a whole lot of talking on loudly daily,i pray i work it out amen
A lot of older ladies speak so softly and elegantly as if that were more the norm back when they were my age. It is so charming and makes them more attractive. Also the same with little girls when they speak. I have been on this journey for a minute and have gotten much better over the past 2 years and one of the most amazing perks is how much faster and more efficient customer service (whether male or female) helps me! I love it!
i enjoy using " like, uhm, and right " softly in conversation tbh, in a girlish way i practice this particularly with other gfs it's more to use for fun
Voice indicates psychological, mental and physical health. Voice has a big secret. I usually don't listen to the channels because when I hear their voices I feel like they need to fix themselves before they give advice. But when I watch you, I listen to you to the end, and the secret is your voice, because it is real and comes from within you. I appreciate your advice and thank you very much. I am so nervous when it comes to dating, what if I talk like a dude? But the 1st tip is really useful, I will use that. Another tip is to find a famous woman who have a feminine voice that you similarly want, and mimic the way she speaks. Thank you for this

I really like your video teaching women how to speak more feminine. What I learned from you is that I can speak in my natural raspy voice than trying to make my voice to high-pitched just to be feminine.🌸
What a fantastic video! It contains so much valuable information. I'm really looking forward to watching more of your videos. Also, I love your eyeshadow! Your makeup is flawless.

This was so good. I could listen to you all day long. You should be charging us for this kind of imormation. You are very graced in teaching, I felt like I was attending an English class. And of course, I had to subscribe 🎉🎉🎉
I personally lose interest when people talk too slowly. My boss speaks slow and soft 😴. My mind wanders. When it's a back and forth type of conversation, it's OK. But when telling a story, I need them to speed it up. Lol
Such a valuable video! I don’t often promote books, but the book women’s magic truths on borlest is an exception. It’s packed with insights on wealth and self-care that are not widely known. All the best to everyone

This was so good. I could listen to you all day long. You should be charging us for this kind of imormation. You are very graced in teaching, I felt like I was attending an English class. And of course, I had to subscribe 🎉🎉🎉

Very insightful.
Glad you think so! 🤍
Thank you for this video. I speak softly and elegantly like my mother and aunts. They sound just like Claire Huxtable from the Cosby show!
Best video I have watched on this subject. Thank you so much for really clever tips. Love from Australia 💖

I discovered you today and I am completely in love with your content. Thank you
Oh wow! 🎉 Glad to have you here! 🤍
I personally lose interest when people talk too slowly. My boss speaks slow and soft 😴. My mind wanders. When it's a back and forth type of conversation, it's OK. But when telling a story, I need them to speed it up. Lol
Brilliant teaching ❤
Thank you 🤍

Such a valuable video! I don’t often promote books, but the book women’s magic truths on borlest is an exception. It’s packed with insights on wealth and self-care that are not widely known. All the best to everyone
