Technically... that alone won't Defeat Makima, If Gojo Just keeps on Attacking her with his blue & Red Divided, Eventually makima Immortality Would Take Gojo's Life. In the end, The Hollow Purple was The key factor to achieve victory and he would have lose in any fight that he don't use the Hollow Purple on makima.

Basically Running this fight 100 times over and over, Makima Would Have Defeated him in everyone that he did not used the hollow purple (like 10-20% of the fights).
the timing was so funny lmao
The dynamic where Makima keeps her distance with her summons and ranged attacks until she's sure she has the advantage, which in turn only gives Gojo the opening he needs is pretty cool ngl.
Also disregarding the silliness I think taking the Halloween themed episode and doing characters that deal with the supernatural instead of just doing supernatural stuff is a neat twist on the concept imo.
the thing about Gojo vs Makima is it's a fight between two characters who have kind of vague power sets. Regardless of who wins, there's gonna have to be a lot of assumptions made, but I think that's part of the fun.
Also, I like that this is the only episode so far where they had to establish ground rules, being verse equalization and Gojo is considered a citizen of Japan, since those are two particularly contentious parts of the debate

This has got to be one of the closest DB’s ever with both of the opponents haxes. Gave me Wally West VS Archie Sonic vibes all over again, I had no idea who was going to win. My brain was hurting from thinking how can one can beat the other so I just been reading everyone’s opinions & what they can do just to understand & follow what’s happening.
Well in this case it looks like that more then that. Like keep in mind, speed force is and will always be the top busted power that legit make archie sonic look like a cockroach lol.

It’s crazy that this season has so far had like 5 different episodes that could be a season finale in terms of quality, it’s been nuts
I burst out laughing when Scooby vs Courage got announced. I’m so excited for that episode.
Also, great excuse to rewatch Mystery Incorporated.
This was my 2nd most wanted and they didnt disappoint
Bill Cipher vs Discord, PEAK FICTION! Cole vs Alex, PEAK FICTION! Frieza vs Megatron, PEAK FICTION! And Gojo vs Makima, PEAK FICTION WITH PEAK MUSIC AND A PEAK NEXT TIME. It’s PEAK FICTION AFTER PEAK FICTION AFTER PEAK FICTION AFTER PEAK FICTION!
That's just this season in a nutshell. Even the capeshit episodes are leagues better than what other seasons had to offer (minus like 3 or 4 exceptions like Iron Man vs Lex Luthor or Deadpool vs Deathstroke for example)
With all due respect, next time is not “PEAK FICTION”.
Not sure if we can call a dog fight peak fiction, but I can’t help but cheer on Courage.

Courage probably decimates either way, considering the actual ridiculously supernatural nature of theeats he faces on a daily basis.

I still think this edit 21:41 is really sweet. Idk I just really love Denji and Power’s relationship and was not expecting them to be acknowledge in any way. Not sure who to thank for that specifically but both DJ and Parker hit it out of the park with this episode, so either way huge shout out to them. They both deserve medals for this season.

@@Five_FingersofDeaththere's a difference between flstout hating on capeshit and being tired of them. I'm also glad we get more unusual and hax based matchups rather than lasers vs lasers and flying bricks, doesn't mean they're always bad but they've been used A LOT.
This fight truly was Unlimited Resources vs Limitless Power. So much so that they had to add specific rules to this fight in order for it to be as fair as possible and make the most sense which is a DB first.
Also I’m going courage for the next fight, despite Scooby having an absurd amount of IP and crossovers to pull from Courage still has the dark cousin of the regular Toon Force where it works off of courages slapstick/suffering instead of enjoyment. He can still be injured but courage can survive a LOT of punishment.
Yeah. Unlike Chara and Reiatsu, Cursed Energy and Devils are not practically similar to make them easy to equate and compare to one another, and none of the analysis would matter if their powers didn't work on each other. Saying that they do for the sake of the fight was the simplest and best way to let it play out, honesty.
Makima has a limit as Gojo didn’t

Is it wrong to think Gojo would have done such a thing? I mean yeah, chances are he wouldn’t have known that every time he gets a kill, he is kind of killing someone at random, but it would seem a touch dark to consider that he could have wiped out the country. A bit weird how I think this is the second time (after Alucard vs DIO) where the victor had to kill someone a good thousand+ times (or maybe even millions) before getting to a killing blow (even though we could probably say Gojo would have been faster than DIO on that front).
Either way, this was a fun death battle episode. Not as big as the recent ones we got, but a nice one to wind down on as we get ready for a dog fight.

I didn't have a horse in this race, but it was still fun. I did like when she started shooting him, as it just super fun. Really cool battle. I don't know who will win the next one, but I don't want either to die. Poor pups

Btw, it's basically a rhythm based action beat-em-up. Everything in the world lines up with the beat, including your attacks, but if you time your attack inputs just right, your attacks are more effective, it gets hectic fast.

On Makima it should count as a attack humans literally get brain damage from being exposed long-term more than 2 seconds Makima is using a humans body her brain would go ☠️ and the damage would be transfered to someone else .

@@AscendedEmperor Gojo’s fights in the series are hype af. He’s a fast, cocky, fighter who most of the time uses hand to hand and dominates his enemies. When he’s not messing around tho, he’s a scary ass dude, they don’t really lean into the psychotic aspect of his personality when he fights. He just kinda sends out his attacks, dodges a little bit and then uses his domain and it’s over.
I can’t speak for Makima cause I’ve only watched the show where she doesn’t do anything really

It was more of how ooc Makima was and the overall very shaky conclusion (though i won’t fault the episode for that, that’s just csm in vs. discussions for ya) that puts this episode under killsaka for me. Strong start, weak finish.

honestly, scooby doo lore is actually kind of fascinting? you know how scooby and shaggy always pull costumes out of nowhere and it works as a near foolproof disguise? that a GENUINE kind of magic in the setting. the wiki even has seperate pages for the heroic "disguise tricks" and the rules and exceptions of "monster mask magic"... which they subtly leaned into in with the myth arc of mystery incorporated. depending on where they pull form and how much slid evidence they want, this could be all sorts of wild...

But he's not immune to the effect it would have on his body when he's applying it to Makima, the citizens of japan would not be hit by overflowing information but something else.(Appropriate illness or accident) that could be equally as bad if not even worse, same goes for the effects if Gojo got selected,
he would suffer from what this "appropriate" illness or accident is. If its an immense migraine that shut your brain off after 10 seconds or even crush your head like a watermelon, it will happen to him.
So if you think like that, it would be a stalemate once he cast his Domain. But in reality she would be night-immune to it because it has a set rate, it's not infinitely fast.
In 0.2 second the information is about 6 months per person.

It wasn't actually a mental attack of infinite information, but a continuous flow of information that goes on infinitely as long as the domain is up.
This makes DB's wincon a massive load of bullshit. Not to mention how Makima's attack transfer is automatic (she doesn't need a brain for it to activate) so the one getting atomized by Hollow Purple is actually some random Japanese mf somewhere.

No? They said he's immune to his own UV and HP would leave nothing for her to come back from. How does that break their own logic?
@valydendor4472 They state that any damage she receives transfers to a Japanese citizan as an accident , illness, or just pure damage so if the damage transfers to Gojo then it will just be the damage not his attack so he would not be immune to it. As an example, if he crushes Makima with Blue and the damage transfers to him, then he will not be immune to the damage because he is not being hit with Blue itself but just equivalent damage.
@@zacharyt.2694 But he's not immune to blue. They state that any of his fatal attacks would kill him if transferred. And he's shown not to be immune to attacks like HP. Their interpretation is that he's immune to UV's effects, so the transfer doesn't affect him.
Makima got cheated, she would 120% see him as Inferior and dominate him. The only reason Chainsaw man or Denji didnt was because of Chainsaw Man's ability to erase concepts of stuff, exactly what she desired.
It was one sided bias to please Gojo Simps. I guess they're just salty that she killed Power ( I know I am)

@@arakaki1406he right The fight was over when Gojo got hit with her chains and was on his knee. Gojo just breaking the control do to reverse CT makes 0 sense reverse CT just heals the body it wouldn't break any mind control.
2 the healing feats Gojo showed don't work Gojo was only able to heal lost limbs because he got the black flash buff increase his CT output allowing him to heal damage to that extent he literally says it to sukuna and smiles as it's explained.
3 unlimited void stuns cursed spirits but fries a humans brain after 2 seconds Makimas body is humans so unlimited void would cause damage making her contract start to redirect the damage to Japan citizens.

Whenever Gojo is involved in stuff like this, it always tend to downplay the other character to purposely give Gojo the win due to how loved he is by the anime community as a whole. You have people out there who believes he solo’s all dragon ball characters, so I was expecting him to beat Makima just because Gojo is perceived as someone who can never lose unless it’s to, Sukuna.

The animation was good but the conclusion was incorrect. By their own arguments Makima should have won, yet again DB votes by popularity
Trust me when I say that they do not vote by popularity, if that were the case, there wouldn't be nearly as many salty Ben 10 Fans, lol.
If you consider the conclusion incorrect, that's entirely fair, but no, it's not a popularity contest, and no, they don't just have the characters they like win. A level of bias might be there, but that's true for most debate, so that in and of itself isn't a knock against them.
