I have these same floor pops and they have been going strong for 3 years 😊
Well done ! So neatly finished. Love all your clever storage ideas too and the racks for paperwork on the kitchen wall 👏
Thanks so much! 😊
I can't wait to see the before and after! I hope you share that, I love that you always took good care of your kitchen even before it was how you wanted it. My grandma always said the same.
Thank you so much dear. Yes, I am a firm believer in enjoying each stage we are in and taking care of ourselves, our loved ones and our things ❤️
Many thanks for the update - very handy to know. Mine have been down nearly one year and they are just fine 👍✔💯😀
So glad to hear that.
Awesome!! Thank you for the update. Super valuable
You mentioned ruggable -that would be a great review to do as well. I’ve heard mixed reviews…
Thank you Clarellen. I also have mixed reviews on Ruggable. It’s a good idea, but after washing the rug, the corners curl up which is annoying. I really don’t think it should be so expensive.
been looking at them for a while for my kitchen
I've seen these available. They really catch my eye. 😍 I'm so tempted to use them somehow.
Thank you. They are definitely eye catching and so easy to install.
Thank you so much for this video! I’m going to install this brand in my little kitchen and wanted to be sure they were durable. Really appreciate your tip to add gorilla glue. They looked beautiful. You did a great job!
Thank you so much Rebekah, They are very durable and I highly recommend using the gorilla glue.
So did you install them? Update? 🤓
Excellent!!!
Glad you found it helpful
I really liked your 1st video. I want to change up my bathroom I have a wood like tile in there that I'm tired of, it's also in the laundry room.
Im sure it will look amazing after you are done. Best wishes.
I watched your video putting them down, (GREAT VIDEO) so it's exciting to see how they held up.!!.It made a gorgeous transformation. I'm about to do this myself. Thanks you so much. ❤❤❤❤
Edit: can you tell me what color your cabinets are? I don't think I've missed any of your videos but I may have.
Hello Donna, I’m so sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I went through all my paint cans, and unfortunately couldn’t find the one from the cabinets. I’m so sorry I can’t tell you the name of the color.
@@EverydaylivingwithMargarita // oh hun.at least you tried.. That's okay. I'll take a picture and see if they can color match. Fingers crossed. Thank you for replying.
They look great. Could you see the old grout lines under the floor pops? Did they dip down into the grout lines at all? I’d like to install them over a 4x4 ceramic tile.
Not at all, they are pretty thick so you don’t see the grout lines.
Never would have guessed that they were stick on tiles ... 👍
They look and feel great.
Mine have been down 3 years. I’m considering putting them in a shower. I think they would hold.
What did you use to clean up the goo once you peel them off of the floor?
I didn’t clean it off with anything, since we are taking the old tile out during our remodel. But I’m pretty sure plain goof of or some oil would work.
I am having the lifting problem because I have cold floors. What type of gorilla glue did you use? The regular gel or construction?
Oh no! I used a tube of construction glue.
Do you have grout lines with the original tile?
If yes, did you end up with indents in the floor pops?
There are grout lines, and no there are no indentations in the peel and stick tiles. The tiles are thick and sturdy.
did you ever use the contour gauge when you installed your tiles? It doesn't seem so, as you used paper instead?
I found that the paper worked best, so I stuck to that.
@@EverydaylivingwithMargarita thank you for your quick reply, I appreciate it!
Hi! Would you recommend using Varathane Clear finish over it to waterproof? I'm wondering if that would make it last longer and protect it more in a bathroom..? Thanks so much!
I don’t think that is necessary at all. It’s waterproof. I had a leak I didn’t know about and the tiles didn’t budge or even slightly peel.
I think Varathane might yellow. (In my humble opinion)
Did you remove the moldings before installing the floor pops?
Without gorilla glue did they leave any residue? I'm in a rental and was thinking about putting these in my bathroom but I'm worried about damaging the ugly tile they have
They left some sticky residue, but came off with goof off and a razor.
Thanks for the info.\
You’re welcome
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How did u remove the glue residue from floor tiles?
Goof off and a paint scrapper. Both can be bought at home depot.
I have wood flooring idk if it's real or vinyl would this ruin the wood?
You would be left with a sticky residue you would need to get off with goof off or a razor. That may ruin the wood.
What color are your kitchen cabinets they are beautiful
Meghan, unfortunately I don’t have the paint cans anymore 😕, and I didn’t write down the name. I’m sorry.
How many comes in a box ?
What kind of gorilla glue did you use? Did you have to purchase a lot of it?
I got it at home depot. It is the heavy duty Gorilla Construction Adhesive. I only used one tube.
What Gorrila glue have you used, please?
The heavy duty construction adhesive.
What is the total length of 10 pieces?
Each tile is 12 x12, so ten tiles will be 10 ft.
Are the removed tiles reusable?
No, they are not reusable
There’s a lot of types of gorilla glue. What type did you use?
I'd like to know this too
