Wow, honestly my niece helped me realize that Mr. Knyght is the star of that video. She told me she watched several times but didn't know what I was talking about. She simply enjoyed to interaction between he and I
@@JACarter7 🥲 Mr. Knyght has a great role model (you) and I will have a camper generator that runs all night to keep me warm 😴....because of you it won't run out of fuel at 3:30am.
Nice video and clear explanations! Just a word of caution with the EPA"gray"fuel line, it has a liner in it and will break down from the ethanol fuel and sun, then you will have carburator and diaphragm issues. Change the line out with standard auto fuel line. Thank you for taking time to film and post this video.
Hey fellas, a word of advice here. I just got my power back up 5 days after Ida. I am in the bayous near NOLA. I always use non-corn fuel as well, but guess what no stations had after waiting 3 hours? You guessed it. YOu may very well be only able to get ethanol, so plane accordingly. Whe i started my gen up sunday (jesus, where did the week go? It's all a blur) it still had the tank topped with non-corn up to about 2inches from the cap, stabil, seafoam and some lucas just to get crazy . It was still good although i had to spray soem b-12 carb cleaner down into the fuel bowl and intake to start a few times and dislodge some gunk in the jet. Not even sure how that happened as i cut fuel, spray some cleaner in the bowl and let that run for a minute or 2, before storing. I also keep a couple of fuel filters on hand, because i noticed they looked kind of rusty and gross. Good luck
For Canadian I’ve contacted Honda Canada and they don’t plan to supply the Bluetooth features anytime soon for Canadian. I bought it from US to get the Bluetooth features! Thanks for your video man!
Yep apparently canada usually gets new features around 7yrs after they come out I just bought 2 a month ago but I learned the Canadian versions have something called cold climate technology
The Yankee version has a CO minder...that has a finite life...Canadian version better in my opinion...on hour 8 and seeing way less glitter in the oil now.
I have the HONDA eu2200i. It runs for at least 8 hors on less than 1 gallon of gas which seems excellent for me. I like to let it cool down for 30 minutes before refueling. which gives it a break.
Hi! It seems you don't like the surface of your table... (at 3:20) What is the outside diameter and thread pitch of this Honda's tank? (at 7:45) I have a clone of the Honda, a Zipper ZI-STE2000IV, and none of the sellers seem able to tell if their tank cap will fit.
Thanks for visiting my channel. I don't think it matters. But cannot say for sure. Both times I used it my generator was higher the the gas tank. I didn't have any problems
That is what I want for my TroyBilt generator. It would make it so easy to gas up during a hurricane. I don't have the cap for the marine tank or the pump. Do you know where I could get one? Great job and your assistant gets a shout out for being so good.😂
I have a system I bought ebay for my Westinghouse i2500 and the fuel won't transfer. The stock cap has to be left off for the generator to run, and then the same with the extended system. Any idea as to why that'd happen. It's a brand new generator to. Runs perfect with the caps off.
@@antpart7998so far I removed the case covers, disconnected and breathed into the vent tube going to the gas tank. The vent tube flows freely, but with the cap on the tank will pressurize when blowing into it.
@@Asidebar I thought I might like an extended fuel tank for use during power outages, but I changed my mind. All that extra gear becomes cumbersome; the EU2200's are fine like they are.
We are still watching a year later and we are still learning, thanks! You two make a great team and I admire your patience!

Thanks for your comment. I saw that happen with my boat once. Since then I only use ethanol free gas in my equipment.
@@JACarter7 you are welcome! And that how I discovered the gray fuel line issue is with my boat as well.

Does it siphon feed or could I sit it on the tail gate with the generator on the ground?
