As a former Grunt in the Marine Corps, I can tell you that those pull ups on the tree knot were extremely impressive. Especially for a 58 year old. Well done
Bob Odenkirk is a spectacular actor. He can easily be in a discussion for all time greats. Better Call Saul is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen, ever. Even slightly better than Breaking Bad which, in itself, is a breathtaking show
This is precisely what I tell everyone. Better Call Saul is slightly better than Breaking Bad which is so hard to believe because that show is already near perfect!
Round of applause for Bob for giving credit where its due. Both Daniel and Tyler, given full cred for how they helped Bob be his character. Nicely done. Also well done to Bob for putting in the work, to make those movements look easy, while gassed.
It makes me happy to see him still training and staying in shape. I hear he’s doing well after his heart attack. I’m sure these routines helped keep him alive
Love how he made sure to explain the upper cut technique at the end. I've seen many in the gym just go with the arms rather than bring it up from the hip. Great tutorial
The first MH workout video I've watched where the guy does not appear to be juiced to the gills. Total respect, Bob. Without chemical assistance, it really can take two years to get in shape when you're past 50. Countercultural and genuinely inspiring.
Being in the same group, this is really helpful. I've been doing similar workouts like this ever since this COVID mess and can't really leave the house.
Youngsters are busy trying to keep their bellies flat, and here's a comedic/dramatic actor, reinventing himself as a badass action star at 58! Love Odenkirk!
I loved this and hope it can inspire a lot of people to start exercising. A few high lights for me: He's really selling the workout at 1:42 "The hardest thing to do is pullups" Then does a couple on the knob. 2:15 "This sucks" then cuts to next segment. 3:20 "fun to do because you use you'bren" 5:32
That’s awesome Daniel Bernhardt is a martial arts legend!!! One of the best kickers in the game. I literally use his character’s name in Bloodsport 2-3 Alex Cardo As an alias.
As a former Grunt in the Marine Corps, I can tell you that those pull ups on the tree knot were extremely impressive. Especially for a 58 year old. Well done
ex-army here. totally agree.
Agreed. Watch the bluray bonus features and see all Bob did and how hard he trained for at least 2 years. I pray we see more of his skills physically.
@@flightofthebumblebee9529 I love it when someone unassuming starts snatching souls
Also...my real name happens to be Hutch. Lol. Not kidding
@@billymadison8036 stop looking at me SWAN!
Awesome how Saul explains the routines and his stunt trainer has zero ego.
It's a incredible actor too
Saul Goodman as John Wick is something I never expected to see. This actually looks very fun.
That trainer looks like a super hero. Good job getting him in shape, Bob.
He's the agent in matrix reloaded 🙂
@@twistedmainframednb More importantly, He's the lead actor in Future War
Out of all celebrity workouts
This one was was really informative
right? super practical

@@TylerDurden-td2yg 😂😂
You really haven’t watched many of them then huh?
Not going to lie... never thought we’d be seeing the “HOW TO GET THE SAUL GOODMAN PHYSIQUE” on men’s health.
Ain’t complaining though
Gimme Jimmy's abs!
Freakin' love the guy for trying something new and taking risks.
“Don’t drink and drive... but if you do, call me”
To kicking people’s asses. Legend.

@@manasvegi4170 He's also excellent as a supporting actor on The Larry Sanders Show from the 90s, which is phenomenal all-around.
Nah I disagree. Breaking bad is awesome
@@LightWeNeed Yeah BB is better, but I enjoy Better Call Saul.
So trueeee
Daniel Bernhardt doesn’t get enough respect
A legend in his own right
He was fucking awesome in Barry.

Who remembers the bloodsport sequels he played alex cardo
@@drago1127 Me and I enjoyed those films too

Man he makes it look easy. But i bet if i tried those right now, i would be struggling. My hat is off to this dude. Major fan of Bob Odenkirk.
Saul Goodman? I actually wanted to see this for the longest
Didn’t think Bob could pull the “ nobody” character off ; however , he did and I’m
Amazed and thrilled ...
I am not ready for a muscular Jimmy McGill in season 6
I hope they go the Parks & Rec Chris Pratt route and explain it with a one liner like "I stopped drinking" and never mention the transformation again.
Well, it won't be as noticeable under the suit. Moreover, Bob was clearly cunning about "didn't work out before at all", maybe just not so seriously.
He kinda was already on sesone 5
@@Kekster3000 He was a little chunky on Breaking Bad. He had clearly gotten into better shape by the time Better Call Saul started though!
Hope there is a season 6. He collapsed on set and was rushed to the hospital.
God damn. He's twice my age and can run circles around me. Mad respect
About 4 years ago he did a 14 day hike in Spain. A pretty brutal one, from what I've heard about it. I like hiking but...😒
58 years old? Building a body at these age takes a lot of commitment. My respect to you.
I'm not going to miss this movie.
Is he gonna play 70 year old Steve Rogers? He looks incredible.
That’s not a bad idea
Totally Plausible 👌🏿
Dude! you should call Disney ASAP
WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE‼️
Yes please!!
It makes me happy to see him still training and staying in shape. I hear he’s doing well after his heart attack. I’m sure these routines helped keep him alive
Super impressive, he’s really challenged himself and succeeded here. 58 years old with no real prior training, incredible
This is the most realistic workout for a 40+ person that I’ve ever seen I don’t think I’ve seen a better one anywhere
This is the kind of Men’s Health content we need right now, lol
Love how he made sure to explain the upper cut technique at the end. I've seen many in the gym just go with the arms rather than bring it up from the hip. Great tutorial
Bob is a legend. Love this guy and his commitment to his roles.
Bob. As a 54 year old, you give me great inspiration
*At **5:02** he says “but we couldn’t get the rights“ to the music… I bet Saul Goodman would have figured out a way around that.* 🤣
1:15 This is Goodman
Thank you, sir
He forgot to taught us his signature workout: Chicago sunroof.
The first MH workout video I've watched where the guy does not appear to be juiced to the gills. Total respect, Bob. Without chemical assistance, it really can take two years to get in shape when you're past 50. Countercultural and genuinely inspiring.
I just imagine the next better call saul season including a shirtless scene and everyone would be at awe at bob's forming six pack
Saul as an action star badass? I dig it
Incredible what a man! Not only talented, a great actor, but also very attractive! My greatest respect!🥰❤️
damn, i wonder how does this relate to recent events. all the best to bob. hoping for a speedy recovery.
I was wondering the same. Could he have overdone the training for someone his age perhaps?
The fact it's Daniel Bernhardt in this film too acting and doing the stunts makes the film even better :)
I can’t wait to see the movie. I was blown away to see him take this role on. Awesome.
What a legend. This effort really showed on the screen; I loved the movie. Great work!
Being trained by the dude that's fought Neo, Morpheus and John Wick is the real deal.
Bob is a great actor. Can't wait to see him in this!
Okay Bob, hope you keep it up. I want to see Hutch become 'Somebody'. So I need another movie.
This is the best men’s health workout video. It’s saulllll goodman
Nobody was a great movie, can't wait for part two! Well done!
Great, now train David Cross and we can have a gritty mob duo revenge flick starring the cast of Mr. Show.
No matter how much training he's doing, I will always remember him as Saul Goodman
I have such respect for Mr. Odenkirk. At 69 I'm pursuing a similar goal...kinda.
Amazing Bob! You are an inspiration Sir. And the movie was amazing.
I love seeing this extremely reasonable and realistic body change as opposed to all the Marvel nonsense.
The movie is awesome! Thanks, Bob!
After spending so long watching Bob Odenkirk in comedy, it is going to be interesting seeing him in action.
ahh slippin jimmy, my boy
This guy is inspiring
From Mr. Show to this, that's pretty cool.
Being in the same group, this is really helpful. I've been doing similar workouts like this ever since this COVID mess and can't really leave the house.
That sucks man. My gym has never closed and it's been life as usual. It was so foolish for gyms to close in the first place my owners refused.

Get well soon, Bob. We're counting on a Nobody sequel.
Bro hes actually built 💀 look at that chest. That tree knot pull up left me speechless
I'm impressed and even more motivated! Great job and all the best to you!
He looks great!
I'm glad Ronnie made it out of that grocery store alive to train Saul Goodman how to fight like John Wick.
Informative as well as relatable.
Honestly! Way to go Bob!
I loved this and hope it can inspire a lot of people to start exercising.

This is giving me very weird feelings. Swole Bob ftw 💪❤
Very cute and endearing to see him so earnest about his workout - good job!
Awesome! Would love to see what's in his fridge and his sleep routine.
When the Saul Goodman clip showed, I cant help myself but laugh😂 I def give 10/10 for Nobody (2021) he nailed it!
Saul Goodman is gonna be ready for those cartels next time with this workout lol
