I think it’s for calibration. You cannot expect your lenses to be perfect immediately.

Is there any info about if or when wider astigmatism support for inserts might be available? Zeiss's lens configurator says that they cannot create inserts for my current prescription. Given the required pairing, it's unclear if third party inserts which *do* support my prescription would be compatible.
