- Turn on Guest User when someone else wants to experience Apple Vision Pro. You can decide which apps your guest can use, and choose to mirror Apple Vision Pro to a compatible device. When Guest User ends, Vision Pro automatically returns to your hand and eye setup.

What they don't tell you is that every time anyone else wants to use it they have to go through the entire setup process again. This basically means means no co-workers or family can use it together without everyone needing to do 5 mins of setup EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Not being able to save calibration profiles is such a classic Apple move: every person basically needs their own besides for other people trying it once or twice.
This device needs multi-user support. Mac already has it, if this is supposed to be a general computer then it needs long-term sharing between multiple members of the same household...
but the user should then be in the cloud so they can also access their stuff form another Vision Pro
How did we get guest user support on a brand new product category before the iPad even got it!?

@@danielwhyatt3278IDK about iPhone, they probably wouldn't add that, but I can 100% see it being useful on iPad. iPads are usually more of tools than just personal devices, so I can see them having the ability to have multiple users.

It’s truely not… it would be much better if I could just select what apps they can access by default like not open them all up cause it begins to choke.

Love mine! Hopefully with an update sharing with friends/family will soon be easier. Guest mode is great.

Can you make an update of their WATCH letting someone use their watch like this?
Would be nice if you could actually select which apps the guest can use rather than “opened apps only”… or, allow us to make an exempt list to allow them to explore without going into our texts or photos etc, whatever we choose.

What about mirroring to another device what the person using Vision Pro sees? Or the other way round - sending content to the Vision Pro? Would be a nice use case in sales processes.

As pointed out by countless people, this is worthless until they allow you to save multiple user settings. It should be like getting into a Tesla and choosing your profile.

Does the person have to go through the hand and eye setup every time ? Can it remember guests or have multiple users?
Not yet, only one signed in user, plus ability to do this guest mode thing. I fully expect multiple account support within the next six motnhs.

Nope! It's ridiculous. They don't even allow saving calibration profiles for other people, so anyone who wants to use it needs to run through the entire calibration process EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Certainly to drive up profits by making it so people can't share it.

Damn, I thought sharing means to share entire room’s AR to another Vision pro so all vision pros can see the same setup in the room. Well, maybe it’s already possible or will be.
