Because swipe up does something else now and it’s easier to show the control center from anywhere on watchOS. Before you had to hold at the bottom of the screen and then swipe up
i’ve been using os 10 since wwdc, and at first the move was a bit weird, but after i got used to it, it’s so much more convenient to have a physical button to access the control center, rather than using the bottom of the screen

Even lots of new functions are nice - why did Apple disable the swipe leftright to change the watch face fast and easy?? Now it is much more complicated and I don't see any advantage in doing so. And what is more - to see my daily steps in activity now I need to scroll all the information down unless the steps are presented. Why that? And finally - why is it still not possible to show the steps from the activity app as a watch face complication?
Unfortunately in my Watch 6 I cannot swipe the faces anymore. I have to keep the finger a longer time on a face, it minimizes and then I can swipe. Much worse than before. Furthermore, if you use the crown for seeing all apps it starts everytime at the first app. You have always to scroll down. Much worse than before.
In the Apple grid view I can’t see all apps once. I mean before I could have used the Digital Crown and could see all apps at once but now I have to swipe down.

😡😡After upgrading to watchOS 10.0.1 on my 7 series, the battery drain has happened every day. From 100% down to 70% within 30 minutes while I was sitting at my office!!!!😡😡 You have this battery drain issue every year after you have launched new products and OS. @@applesupport As I mentioned, my watch is a 7 series. But the watchOS 10.0.2 is suitable for the Ultra and 9 series per your website. Also, my watch app said, “Your watch is up to date”.

Hate that the dock has been taken away from the side button and replaced with control centre, and that the crown double press now opens the app switcher instead of swapping between the two most recent apps. Also you can't quickly swipe between watch faces anymore; you have to press and hold, and then switch. This update feels like a downgrade in almost every way I interact with my watch every day :/
It was really weird to see that you changed the way to get the control centre. I was first really confused about it. I think there was really no need to change that. Cause swiping up was much easier than holding a button.
For the love of god bring back swipe to change watch faces. I have 3 different faces I rotate during the day to access different apps and now it’s a total pain to do so.

Apple watch is good but if you make the apple watch ultra 3 cheaper it will be good and add a camera and replace the browser with safari that's it add your own stuff
As Apple has just released major updates - this being iOS/iPadOS 17, WatchOS - the update server may have a bottle neck due to the amount of update requests. To prevent the server from potently crashing, the server would limit the amount of data being outputted at once. Just to clarify, this is just me speculating and I may have the completely wrong idea but hope that gives you a bit of an idea of why the update is taking a long time.
Please bring the ability to swipe between faces back. Or at least give us customers a toggle in settings to enable or disable that feature. We get it, sometimes faces could accidentally change, but just let us decide if we want that swiping gesture to be enabled or not. I’m loving watchOS but this is FRUSTRATING… 🙏

App switcher switches too fast to the most recently used app. there should be a longer delay like 5-10 seconds instead of one.
My husband's watch has a greenish tint on everything. No colors. Mine is fine. Is there any way to fix his?
