Why move Control Center from a swipe up to the side button??
kids swipe the screen up all the time when I hold them in my hands. to prevent accidental activation? I too prefer the swipe up gesture. I haven't tried the new watch os yet.

Because swipe up does something else now and it’s easier to show the control center from anywhere on watchOS. Before you had to hold at the bottom of the screen and then swipe up
i’ve been using os 10 since wwdc, and at first the move was a bit weird, but after i got used to it, it’s so much more convenient to have a physical button to access the control center, rather than using the bottom of the screen

I’m really enjoying the update on my watch. When I’m listening to music or watching something on my phone the watch shows the picture of the album or program
Hate that the dock has been taken away from the side button and replaced with control centre, and that the crown double press now opens the app switcher instead of swapping between the two most recent apps. Also you can't quickly swipe between watch faces anymore; you have to press and hold, and then switch. This update feels like a downgrade in almost every way I interact with my watch every day :/

Unfortunately in my Watch 6 I cannot swipe the faces anymore. I have to keep the finger a longer time on a face, it minimizes and then I can swipe. Much worse than before. Furthermore, if you use the crown for seeing all apps it starts everytime at the first app. You have always to scroll down. Much worse than before.
i miss having the option to set which app i want to use quickly.

Even lots of new functions are nice - why did Apple disable the swipe leftright to change the watch face fast and easy?? Now it is much more complicated and I don't see any advantage in doing so. And what is more - to see my daily steps in activity now I need to scroll all the information down unless the steps are presented. Why that? And finally - why is it still not possible to show the steps from the activity app as a watch face complication?
dont like it. wanna easily swipe left n right. whos that sxxt product mgr came up with disabling such. i was even thinking to buy a new watch.
I cannot figure out how to swipe! I really just want to navigate using tapping and swiping gestures and I cannot figure this out. I don’t want to constantly have to use the crown.
I won’t say side button control center feature is useful unless apple add in camera remote to the control center
For the love of god bring back swipe to change watch faces. I have 3 different faces I rotate during the day to access different apps and now it’s a total pain to do so.
Agreed. I have 5 different faces based on different activities, I loved the ease of switching by swiping back and forth, and did it daily. Please give us the option to switch by swiping (old way) or press and hold then swipe (new way). Thanks, looking forward to the update!
Bro i have a apple watch series 4 and i updated to watchos 10 and it took 4 hours and the battery drains in like 3 hours i dont use it i use it as a regular watch

In the Apple grid view I can’t see all apps once. I mean before I could have used the Digital Crown and could see all apps at once but now I have to swipe down.

It was really weird to see that you changed the way to get the control centre. I was first really confused about it. I think there was really no need to change that. Cause swiping up was much easier than holding a button.

It's the button that is highlighted at that timestamp, at the bottom left
Please bring the ability to swipe between faces back. Or at least give us customers a toggle in settings to enable or disable that feature. We get it, sometimes faces could accidentally change, but just let us decide if we want that swiping gesture to be enabled or not. I’m loving watchOS but this is FRUSTRATING… 🙏
But you can still do that, you just need to hold + swipe ...
And how to get rid of the now playing icon when listening to music or the radio or watching a video. Turn off auto launch in settings doesn’t do the trick 🤷🏻♀️

Apple watch is good but if you make the apple watch ultra 3 cheaper it will be good and add a camera and replace the browser with safari that's it add your own stuff
Why isn’t Siri in Romanian too?

😡😡After upgrading to watchOS 10.0.1 on my 7 series, the battery drain has happened every day. From 100% down to 70% within 30 minutes while I was sitting at my office!!!!😡😡 You have this battery drain issue every year after you have launched new products and OS. What is wrong with Apple?! 😡😡This is so frustrating!!! 😡😡
You’ll want to update your watchOS to the latest version currently out, watchOS 10.0.2. Then give your Apple Watch about 72 hours. Test it to see if that helps the battery life concern.

@@applesupport As I mentioned, my watch is a 7 series. But the watchOS 10.0.2 is suitable for the Ultra and 9 series per your website. Also, my watch app said, “Your watch is up to date”.

Anyone else having updates that take a long time?
As Apple has just released major updates - this being iOS/iPadOS 17, WatchOS - the update server may have a bottle neck due to the amount of update requests. To prevent the server from potently crashing, the server would limit the amount of data being outputted at once.
Just to clarify, this is just me speculating and I may have the completely wrong idea but hope that gives you a bit of an idea of why the update is taking a long time.
First let me know how to buy.
