and so far it the way to go don't baby them you'll just damage them and also who got time for this, we had earphone for decade been wiping them DRY with our shirts
Damn, I just looked up how to clean them because, after a while, due to dirt, the noise-cancelling and transparency mode aren’t as good anymore. Then I saw this video by the official Apple Support Channel - life is good.
Popping in to say that it really worked. The transparency hasn’t been working that well in for a long time now. But even then, anyone who tries this must use caution as liquids are still liquids and electronics normally do not mix with it. Follow the guide as strictly as possible.
Micellar water is a cleansing liquid containing tiny oil molecules (micelles) that attract dirt, and distilled water is water that has been purified through boiling and condensation.
So this is the official way of cleaning the AirPods! That's interesting that even moisture is involved because I just dry clean them with a micro-fibre cloth or a dry soft brush.
It's amazing how such a question can even arise when it's obvious that the same design is in Pro models, and if it couldn't be, it would be separately specified.
My right side airpod 2nd gen are producing less voice after cleaning process.also that when you psee on one side of airpods while wearing them causes 1side louder, this function is also not happening in that airpods. Any suggestions!,!!
Yes it is strictly necessary, distilled water does not have minerals and salt which makes it non-conductor of electricity whilst our regular water would conduct electricity causing short circuit
The Airpods Pro 2 are my favorite apple device lol. When they were released it was like someone read my mind. I was using a case on my Airpods Pro 1 that also had an airtag attached to it and I thought it would be so great if the airpods just had FindMy in them AND a way to attach a string or something so you can just grab them or hold them with one finger if you need to… and that is exactly what came out. I was shocked.
This was actually an extremely useful video, please do more like this
the first time an apple support video has felt like a kids science experiment video
❤❤❤
I love that ❤❤
*Next video idea: how to clean the AirPods case in a similar manner!*
the main thing we need
Yes!
Especially the area near the hinge!
this goes deep
This! 👆🏼
How can I buy the Apple toothbrush?
😂 will only cost you 29 bugs instead of 90 ct because there’ll be an Apple Logo on it.
Can I use the Apple Toothbrush also for AirPods Pro 1. Gen or is it not supported? 😂
wipe your Pods down after every other use on an inconspicuous area of your shirt, creating that habit has saved me lots of cleaning sessions
Exactly what i do!
This. Ahaha
Lol I thought that it was just me that did this lol😂
I've been intuitively doing this every day since I bought it.
and so far it the way to go don't baby them you'll just damage them and also who got time for this, we had earphone for decade been wiping them DRY with our shirts

I wonder if this will restore my broken ANC and passthrough…
Micellar water is what?
I need the iBrush
Video idea: how to fix audio crackling when transparency or noise cancelling are engaged.
This happened to me once and Apple swapped the problematic AirPod for free. Happened again and then it was time to get a new one.
Does this also apply to AirPods Pro’s 1?
how to solve static sound from airpods pro?
Damn, I just looked up how to clean them because, after a while, due to dirt, the noise-cancelling and transparency mode aren’t as good anymore. Then I saw this video by the official Apple Support Channel - life is good.
Hey man, did it work? Same issue here. But I didn’t clean yet. 😅
Popping in to say that it really worked. The transparency hasn’t been working that well in for a long time now.
But even then, anyone who tries this must use caution as liquids are still liquids and electronics normally do not mix with it. Follow the guide as strictly as possible.
This is actually amazing content, thank you so much Apple please do more stuff like this
Blue tack, blue tack does the trick in depth and without too much work
This should be a free service at all apple stores
Extremely useful video!. We need more videos explaining how to clean our Apple products. There's a lot of myths and misinformation. PLEASE!
Silicone caps don’t come off as easy as 0:50 suggests 😂
Ikr😂😂
Just open it and squeeze. it’s so easy if you open it.

@@ATK.If you have fake ones yes. But with a real pair no.
I’m happy they didn’t make a separate tool for business
Every video on this channel should be on the Apple Tips app
This is actually easier than I thought. But waiting 2 hours is the hardest part 😂
What is ‘marcella’ water?
It's called micellar water. It's used for removing make up

I would also like to know how to clean the container.

You can’t
whats a micellar and distilled water 😭
Micellar water is a cleansing liquid containing tiny oil molecules (micelles) that attract dirt, and distilled water is water that has been purified through boiling and condensation.
I want to know as well
I thought micellar was same as a toner but no :(
yeah i've failed from the very first step because the ear tips can't be removed easily like that
How do you clean the charging case???
Why after update I lost my ANC and my AirPods make static crackle noise
So this is the official way of cleaning the AirPods! That's interesting that even moisture is involved because I just dry clean them with a micro-fibre cloth or a dry soft brush.
This is honestly really useful for people who use airpods
Instructions unclear. My cellar water damaged the AirPods. I can only listen to underground rap music now.
How about with out micellar
I did this to clean the all of the speakers of my iphone xs max and now they work perfectly!
Is it for AirPods Pro also?
I got henna on my pods. How do i clean it out😢 i have tried different options none seem to work

How about cleaning the case?
Does this work with AirPods Pro 1?
Can I use 99% pure isopropyl alcohol?
I use it with cotton buds and microfibre towels and they still look brand new. no need to use water to wipe it off.
Please make How to clean the Apple Watch Ultra 2 Black.
May I use isopropyl alcohol?
How often can this be done?
Is this compatible with the AirPods 4?
This thing definitely needs to be cleaned. I have both first gen and second gen failed, making annoying noise, due to ANC microphone blocked by dirt.
My ANC IS not working how to fixed
Now teach us how to clean the metals that are attached to the magnets on the case
Very useful! Thanks
Apple teaching us how to maintain something means there ain’t a new model coming anytime soon
Looks like a good idea, but I can’t wait the two hours for them to dry. These are game changers.
Makes me want to rebottle micellar water and market it as Apple Cider..
Can you do a AirPods Max version next?
What kind of water again?
thank you for this video, ive been just buying a new pair each time mine gets dirty
Now how do you change the batteries
Make more of these.
I left them in my pocket and put that in a washer dryer.. they worked perfectly fine😄😄
Please post link to iBrush and will there be an iBrush Pro?
thank you I've been needing this for my airpods 💗
Would there be a video explaining how to clean the iPhone speakers?
Where can i buy apple water?
what the heck is micellar water
What water is used? I dont think its available from where i am from. Do you have alternatives
Distilled water. You can find on almost any supermarket, look on the Cleaning aisle. It's water without minerals.
I’ve ground out some cells from mice and put them in water but it looks different.
Does this work for Buds?
Why does Apple turn off the comments on some of their videos but not all of them like this one? This was a very helpful video.
If my AirPods Pro 2's get damaged, under warranty, by this video, will Apple cover it?
I have the belkin cleaning kit and it worries me putting water into contact with electronics 😭
works for 1st gen?
How much for the iBrush?
wahahaha
honestly people would buy it tho
Finally. This will come useful.
Please make one on how to clean the MacBook screen
how to clean the AirPods max case and earpads plzzz
I use water Flossers for teeth to clean Ear Tips, amazingly clean, like new
0:03 *just curious, is this process applicable for the original AirPods Pro (2019) as well - as they’re literally identical?!*
Probably since they’re both splash resistant
It's amazing how such a question can even arise when it's obvious that the same design is in Pro models, and if it couldn't be, it would be separately specified.
No, there is another video for the 1st Pros coming out tomorrow
I’ve always expected to see a video like this, thanks!
what is a micelar water?
How about designing something that doesn’t require cleaning?
I also do have micellar water and distilled water lying around
How about the home pod?
thank you so much, mine just got kinds clogged in one side and i was afraid i was gonna have to buy other airpods, it's too expensive
Hi Apple Support, may i ask one question about my airpod 2 that can i use medical alcohol swab to clean it ? It is 70 degree alcohol
My right side airpod 2nd gen are producing less voice after cleaning process.also that when you psee on one side of airpods while wearing them causes 1side louder, this function is also not happening in that airpods. Any suggestions!,!!
Thank you! This is very helpful.

I think, Airpods cleaning kit will be launching soon😅
How to remove yellowing from the buds?
Cool that you made this video! 😄
I thought the first bottle was Jhonson&Jhonson
Can you tell me how to get your cellar water?
It's called micellar water
does it have to be distilled water?
Yes it is strictly necessary, distilled water does not have minerals and salt which makes it non-conductor of electricity whilst our regular water would conduct electricity causing short circuit
No but sounds more fancy
My what water?
Your cellar water, or her cellar water maybe?
The Airpods Pro 2 are my favorite apple device lol. When they were released it was like someone read my mind. I was using a case on my Airpods Pro 1 that also had an airtag attached to it and I thought it would be so great if the airpods just had FindMy in them AND a way to attach a string or something so you can just grab them or hold them with one finger if you need to… and that is exactly what came out. I was shocked.
Does this work in normal Apple Pros?
ofc nope. only for 2nd gen.
will this affect the warranty
It immediately voids it unless you use Apple Water™️
Anyone know if Apple makes replacement ear tips for the AirPods Pro 2?
Or do i need to wait for them to make an ear tip cleaning/whitening video?
I just purchased off the Apple website
Next video make on how to clean iPhone ear speaker grill and speaker grills.
