This is the video for my take on Tom Petty's Crawling Back To You.
I''ve always loved this song, and very much relate to the complicated and difficult feelings described here. As an ex-heroin addict, and as a man who has seen my closest friends slip into the ether, this song is a memento to the past, while trying to not live there. This was produced by Clay Parker at his studio in Burnside, Louisiana. The recording features Clay on organ and electric guitar, and Jodi James on background vocals. It officially releases on Friday, July 12, 2024.
