Thanks so much I do these at work during my my lunch hour there are no equipment issues and activity room so I brought my own weights and do this and feel amazing

I am just getting back into working out and coulda used 3 lbs for this-woulda been a better fit for me. Keep at it with the 1 lb and then u can slowly Increase ur weight as that becomes comfortable.

I am doing this once a week with 1 lb but still haven't managed to finish the full lesson 😔 Could I try this without weights and try to finish it? I do feel disheartened. As a man I really want to be strong, muscular, and empowered like the women here!

I love the way you say work with your body - I was feeling awful yesterday so only did one of your 5 min workout but didn’t feel Too bad because I did something. Out of curiosity for those of us on this side of the pond 🇮🇪 what weights do you use as wr don’t have 5lb or 2 lb’s - ours are in kg - so I find myself alternating with 2kg, 3kg and sometimes 5kg

3 lbs. is enough for me, too! When I used to do a weights workout at a fitness club the teacher would tell us to pick up our light weight or medium weight. We would decide for ourselves what that means for us. I like that Annie tells us we can go higher or lower than 5 lbs., but going lower that the standard 5 lbs. makes me feel like I'm not lifting enough. By giving a recommended range it could help viewers feel like their choice is just right.
Wow Edith, but that is great strength! I am a man and started training when I found Annie's channel! I could only manage with 1 lb dumbbells and stopped around the 7 minute mark as my arms just gave up 😟 I feel very low and unconfident 😟
