I have a cruise scheduled for Cozumel and Progreso in a little over a year and am looking at excursion videos to get an idea which I want to go on. So far Xcarat in Cozumel and Mayapan in Progreso are at the top of the list. Thanks for this video.
@@ashleyiwanicki437 I did mine with carnival and it was also called “Mayapan Ruins, Lazy River, and Cavern Swim”. However this excursion is offered in Yucatán (Progreso)
Amazing Vlog. We will be on Carnival Ecstasy for her Final Sailing in a couple weeks and I'm pretty sure we just booked the exact same excursion. It looks absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
We booked it through our cruise line. I think you could visit as a private party but transportation might be the challenge as it is a good distance from the port.
Do you remember the name of the cenotes? It looks great. We are honeymooning in October on a Carnival cruise but this is not one of the excursions. I’m wondering if I can find the cenotes can be booked through non cruise excursions.
Looks like so much fun! We booked this excursion in Mid July. Question, did they have lockers for your bags at the cenotes? Thanks for sharing! Love your adventures!
I'm so sorry but I can't remember. The guides told us what to do with our things, but I don't recall whether we left them on the bus or someone was watching them for us, etc.
I read it requires the person to be able to swim. Does this mean I can’t take my 6 year old who doesn’t know how to swim or will he be ok since life vests are provided? We go in January on our cruise and I really want to do this!
I'm not sure if they will allow him to participate since a life vest is provided. Are you booking an excursion through your cruise line? I would call just to be sure. Hope you can do it!
We did this excursion. Literally terrible. The food was subpar. They Lied about the margaritas being free - they were $8/drink and they pushed it on you. We had only one hour in the cave swim And to eat lunch before going to ruins for Literally 30 minutes. It was a 3 hour bus ride out and almost 2 hours back. In all fairness traffic out was at a standstill while the searched Every vehicle with machine guns. They boarded the bus with machine guns. After we got back we learned that this ‘looking for a fugitive’ is very common on progresso. Buyer Beware!!!!! Then the two tour guides Begged for tips. - here’s a tip: don’t lie about the margaritas.
Amazing! BTW, with the masks, if you spit into them and rub it around before you put them on, that's supposed to help a lot with the fogging. People that snorkel all the time do that. I know it sounds kinda gross, but if it works, what the heck.
Thank you for helping finalize my decision… I have been watching videos for a couple weeks and this helped me decide.😊

Great video helped me make a decision!❤
I did this Excursion on my cruise in November 2021 and it was the most amazing and magical I’ve ever experienced! I can’t wait to do it again
Which excursion is it. I'm going on Royal Caribbean in 20 days to Cozumel and Costa Maya

We are doing our first cruise on this ship in 2 weeks wife and daughter been dying to do a excursion. Thanks for the video ..booking this for us
How deep is the water. Could you stand straight up in it at the last river? It’s beautiful!
I’m going to Progreso in September on carnival I might want to do this excursion. Great video!
Thank you! It v was so much fun!
That looks wonderful
Fantastic video! The cave swimming looked like so much fun!
That's amazing, had no idea anything like that even existed.
It was incredible!
@@TPF I've been to Bonne Terre before, but it's nothing like that.
Is the food included?

Yay! Enjoy your cruise!!
@@TPF We can't wait. I've done 13 cruises from Long Beach and this will be the first that's not out of Long Beach for both of us
lol... we gotta get out more
Such a great Vlog.
Thank you!
Do they provide towels or do you have to bring your own?
Please tell be if I can take this excursion from the carnival breeze… how do I book it? Thankyou
Hi! Did you guys book this excursion through your cruise line or can it be booked privately?
Thanks!
We booked it through our cruise line. I think you could visit as a private party but transportation might be the challenge as it is a good distance from the port.
Thank you I'm taking my son😊

Cenotes Hacienda Mucuyché
You might be able to book separately, but it is a bit of a drive. Not sure about transportation to get there. Hope you have a great trip!
Is this PGO08 or PGO17? Both sound like they could be it, but neither have enough info on DCL website or app.
Can kids do this tour? 4 years old?
Did y’all book this through the DCL excursions?
Yes.

No lockers for your bags!! They ‘watch them’. Hint:they don’t watch them. Be careful!!
How would this excursion be for kids? I have a 3 and 6 year old
They might be a bit young, in my opinion.
I’d like to book this excursion omg looks so fun!! What did you book through? The cruise line? Or separately?
I leave next week lol trying to plan ahead…
We booked it through the cruise line.

@@melaniecomeaux1125 Lazy River Tubing, Cavern Swim & Mayapan Ruins I just booked the exact same one for Carnival Ecstasy.

Hi. Was this included in the whole 90 min Mayan ruins excursions?
There were two parts to this excursion, two separate places. It lasted most of the day.
@@TPF yes, I understand the 2 parts, but what I want to kno is it the same price for both places?
@@sanlagata yes it's one excursion and one price for both places.
What exact cruise was this again? I wanna go. Lol
We were on the Disney Wonder out of New Orleans. This was Progresso, Mexico, which was an alternate port since Grand Cayman wasn't open.

Yep, I do that too.
Can a 3 year old be ok
I'm not sure of age restrictions, but everyone wears a life jacket.
Are kids allowed?
