  • Don't put off replacing that old worn-out seat cover because you think it's too hard to change out! It's really very easy!

That was great and detailed perfectly for me to take on my 2005 Yukon. With over 217,000 miles the drivers seat bottom leather has been split since I started driving the SUV in 2016 when mom went to an assisted living apartment because of Alzheimer’s. My step dad was in a wheelchair for a while so they bought a good times van with a lift for around $80,000. Ten months later he died and mom traded it in on this Yukon which has all options but 4-wheel drive. Since 90% of our vehicles are cash she picked out the one in the showroom with Auto Ride and trailer towing. Mom never used it but it came in handy when I moved seven hours away. Although I have an E350 Mercedes, which gets much better mpg, as my daily driver, I don’t want to part with the Yukon. It has been meticulously maintained first by the dealer and then by our local mechanic. Since I moved to Northeast Texas, I’ll have a new local mechanic and still maintain the vehicle as well as my mom did. Although it is 19 years old, it still runs and drives like a vehicle 1/3 its age and does not give me any trouble. Because of sentimental reasons I don’t want to get rid of it just yet. It’s very comfortable and I use it when I need to haul things especially my whippet hounds to confirmation dog shows. The SUV gets half the mpg that the Mercedes does and I cannot go as fast on curves but it is very comfortable and has a 12 speaker Bose system with factory Amplifier that I play club music very loudly when driving alone and dance in the seat entertaining other drivers as I travel down the highways! 😎

Great information; but where did you get the cover? Too bad you don't do the back as I'd like to do that as well and repair my broken lumbar adjustment on my 06 at the same time.
