This is straight up black paint there is no red, blue, yellow, orange pigment etc even on the darkest person it looks grey because human skin unlike synthetic skin testers they probably used have different pigments in it you can tell there is no actual black person on the team working on this and like you said they probably just want to make the “darkest foundation” just as an title as it brings them more attention on social media and people would try it but you can tell how much “effort” they worked on this. Makeup brands still have a long way to go and I’m sorry for the comment who complained about this saying we are “overreacting” we are not. This is 2024 and this is the best we can do? Our skin has cool tone, warm tone, neutral, olive etc not straight out black I paint as a hobby when you add black white white it straight up become grey but when you add white to foundation that fits human skin it become a lighter tone of beige, brown, etc not grey. There is a video of a girl wearing it on one side and black paint on other side there isn’t much difference and even the video of the 0:52 if you see it carefully his before and after, his after is my grey in shade and you can see people in the comments pointing it out

You've seen those mixing pigments, right? Go take a look at a few of the brands making those. Notice how black is never among the shades? That's because it won't work, unless you're aiming for grey.

@@justdawnonline the darkest person in the world wouldn’t be able to use that foundation because no one is black. People can be very darkskin but not black. What’s the point of buying a foundation that you’re going to have to mix anyway, they should’ve put more effort into making a wearable foundation ore they should’ve never released it to begin with.
it’s just black pigment with some moisturizer with zero undertones. mix that shit in with your regular foundation and it’ll make it grey. but yeah “yawn”

It’s BLACK PIGMENT. When mixed with a lighter foundation it literally turns grey. No ones skin tone is a true black without any undertone.

No one is black. There can be very dark brown people but no one is black not even the darkest person in the world could use that foundation. So of course people can complain, if it doesn’t affect you you’re not going to care
It's the same as putting white paint on a bottle and calling it the lightest shade.
It's not about too dark, it's about tones. It's just black face paint. People have tones. They basically gave minstrel paint.
