      It's one of those things that the more you do it, the easier it becomes. Don't give up. Try to only look up parts that you absolutely can't figure out. Over time it'll become natural.

    • @Antowam3
      @Antowam3 3 года назад +2

      Frölunda!
      Anyways, you learn little tricks that make it easier. Its easier to think in harmony than in frets. That way the relations actually make sense. You only have 12 notes, the other octaves are just timbre. First note usually sets the scale. Minor major third? With that set the rest slots in much easier. If you're in a daw, try hipassing everything below 800 and add a bump around 2-5khz. Usually helps with making the tonality of the guitar easier to discern.

    "Oh shit, it's a whammy." I was waiting to see how you'd react to there being a whammy pedal. Such a cool riff and that chord is downright nasty.
    The meme challenge would be Thought the Fire and the Flames by Dragonforce, although I'd personally ask for either The Serpentine Offering by Dimmu Bogir or Next In Line by Children of Bodom.
    Bonus challenge; Learn the song on the closest Solar equivilent to the guitar used by the band.

    How about “Black Star” by Carcass?

    This is exactly how my guitar journey began. Just learning songs, repeating parts, pausing it, just to a note that sounded similar to what I was hearing. I miss the beginning stages

    I'm ready to assume that a lot of us are guitar players and I'm sure that there's dads (and moms!) that like to learn songs just for fun but with work, kids and most importantly, god aweful online guitar tabs, having a pro like you learning songs like that can speed up the learning process A LOT. Keep up the good work. PS : next song should be any Sylosis or even better, Warbringer :) Cheers from Mtl Canada
