I enjoyed the learning process, too, when editing my videos. I no longer have that channel, and though it was fun coming up with ideas, the whole process really is time consuming, as you mentioned. ha ha, I was so pleased with the tomato skin rose, though truthfully it wasn't the most elegant or pretty! Yes, it takes a lot of time to put together a video, it's is fun, but I have to be in the mood. That's why I can't guarantee videos on a weekly basis,and much as I love the idea of Vlogmas, know i'd not be able to do it. I'm in awe of anyone who does daily vlogs, it's a lot to take on. I lost some subs but I'm ok with that, I get that there are people who want to watch regular videos, but it does put on a lot of pressure, especially if like me you're just showing bits of your life and terrible cake decorating! ha ha!

Thanks Suzanne. Trying to get a video out each week was tricky, and really, my life is so ordinary it was literally the same thing each week. So didn't really need to give myself that pressure. This has made sure it's staying fun to do, I am really enjoying working on editing and trying (trying!!) to improve on things! Will email soon. I hope! xx

Isn't it? It's so funny I was looking at it in real time and thinking it barely changed, when I watched it back I was shocked at just how much it had changed. Enjoyed the video! By the way, that first quiche would have been fine for me. I always add more cheese than the recipe calls for and i tend to like it a little overcooked. I may be making it wrong but it works for me :) . Also, i love the simplicity of your easter decor. I have found that in recent years my holiday decor becomes more and more simple. I used to love to decorate like crazy but i'm enjoying the more minimal look now. I think your attitude toward making and sharing videos is amazing. Some of the best content that I watch comes from youtubers that are not in it for the views of the money. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to future videos no matter how sporadic 🌷
you are my kind of lady, who likes a very cheesy quiche! I was very, very heavy handed though, and if I admit to that it means it was REALLY cheesy! Yes, simple decor is very enticing these days. Quick to put up and take down. I used to put up so many outdoor lights at Christmas, but now I have scaled it right back and I love how much easier it . Still looks nice too. That's really kind of you,thank you. There is an assumption that everyone on YT makes money, but it's not the case. They slap on adverts so THEY make money, but the youtuber doesn't get a thing until a minimum of subs and time videos are watched. I'm nowhere near that so as far as I'm concerned I can just poodle along making videos when I like it. I'm glad so many people understand that and seem to like my content, taking the pressure out has made it fun!

I have really enjoyed all your videos lately, but only you can know what you feel good about…with quality, quantity, etc. YT quickly makes content creators think about their goals and intentions for a channel, and regardless of your posting schedule, you will always have fans here:)
Nicole, that's so kind. Sometimes I've pushed a video out so quickly to try to make sure I've put up one a week, knowing full well that I could have made it better. I'm still working on my style and trying to make a very plain and ordinary life worth watching, so it might take time. But I'll get there eventually! x
