I don't know how I missed the alert for this video, but the perfect start to a Saturday morning for me especially with Henry in the video! How cute that Tiger was supervising you in the greenhouse! The cake looked delicious and set off your new cup and saucer beautifully. Hope you have a lovely peaceful weekend. Parveen xxx

think it's because I made an error Parveen. I uploaded it to You Tube with the intention of publishing it a few days later after I'd done all my checks, but it published straightaway. I then set it to private and sheduled it to publish when I wanted it to, but it seems for that reason that it didn't give a notification on the day. So my mistake!
Hope you've had a good week, and it's always lovely to find a comment from you x

ha ha, I love that! I have to admit, I'm plotting this again this Sunday because it is so good, but then I should stop so it stays as something scrummy to look forward to. I hope you try it, or your own version of it, it's such an easy Sunday lunch. The cake was really good! 😋

Thank you Linda 🥰 you are kind. Oh the cake was so good, I will keep it up my sleeve when I need to make an easy peasy but impressive looking cake. ha ha, I'm predictable! You'll never see Temu or Shein hauls on this channel but there's always room for new cornishware! Have a glorious weekend x

Thank you for the basil tip. My basil plants have always died . I never knew they couldn't be crowded in the pot. I'm going to try to separate them next time I buy a plant. Also, that cookbook looks fabulous !!!

same, I had no idea. And it's frustrating when the plants die every single time. Happy to report that all plant babies are doing well, so so far, so good! 🪴 The cookbook is a real delight, very pleased with my purchase.

Oh that meal looked soooo yummy, I made a mental note of how you made those potatoes. When you were scraping the potatoes….was that oil and herbs at the bottom of the sheet pan?

Yes, I use a mix of olive oil, vegetable oil, and as many dried herbs as I fancy, lots of S&P, then before roasting dot dabs of butter & your roasties will come out crispy & golden. I promise! ❤
