This is my view - while honest people is rare, this incidence is more related to the economic situation... Almost all ppl here in India earn pretty good enough that they don't feel like doing such cheap acts... They feel empathetic towards the person who would've lost it too... So ppl here in India would think n give it back... But yes honesty is also still required, however the economic situation also matters

My Abbu was two when they fled Karachi. He was upset initially. He is 80 yrs now and we are very proud Indians and proud muslims too. A right decision may sometimes feel wrong but turns into such a beautiful blessing for generations. May Pakistan too see the light of day soon 🙏🏻🇮🇳

The only fault of Karachi is it is part of Sindh unfortunately. Had it been part of any other province, we would've been living a much better life. It's really heart breaking to see my city in this fucked up condition.
We are always in stress. Can't walk on the streets, can't hangout in the parks, can't go to ATM, can't use mobile phones outside of home and much more.
We have been living in inhuman condition for years now and we are tired of it.
Most of the policemen are from internal Sindh and they don't give a F about Karachi and the crime happening here.
But still we are hopeful, someday this city will become safe and beautiful again just like it was before in 1960s.

One small correction,
Safe city pilot project was installed and active in Karachi in 2006, the major arteries (signal free corridors) were covered , and thevproject was supposed to be expanded, but just like all the other projects started by mayors Mustafa Kamal and Naimatullah Khan, this was also shut down by Sindh government.
Just to give an example of incompetancy of Sindh govt, the local govt minister after being on position for 4 years (2008 to 2012), said on TV interview, that it was after 3 years his ministry found out that all the budget they allocated to municipal authority was going away in salary of employees, leaving nothing for maintainance and development. It took him 3 years to realize something that he should have known before even planning for the first budget!! 3 years !! And he was proudly announcing this as if he had discovered the cure for cancer.

Habib bank UBL HMB, Dawood group, schon group, Hamdard, Ziauddin, SIUt, Edhi chippa saylani alamgir, yahan tak kay Jis anwar ratol mango pear you Sindhis go gaga was also give by muhajirs. You aren’t big hearted but lived in rural areas . as per 1941 census 65% of urban Sindh was Hindu. Over 90% of Sindhi muslims lived in rural areas. We made karachi a financial hub, earlier karachi was just a small town of 4lac ppl tucked away in the corner of india and only functioned as a port for india valley and nothing else. Agar muhajir gaye then they Willy are all their commerce and industry with them where lacs of Sindhis work who will become jobless in a jiffy. Tau soch samajh kar baat karo. You guys owe a lot to muhajirs.
@@msr7373 Can you please fool someone who is unaware about the history of Muhajirs. We very well know that 90% of Muhajirs originate from UP & Bihar which are the worst backward most states of India with complete lawlessness & Gunda Raj.
Where as on the other hand Sindh used to always be one of the richest provinces of Undivided India. There was some reason the paanwalas were so desperate to migrate to Sindh , why didn't they go to Kashmir, Punjab, Bengal, Pakhtunkhwa or Balochistan when these were also muslim majority provinces. The cunning paanwalas were lured by the economy of Sindh.
Third thing , the so called contribution which the paanwalas often cry aloud are actually done by the Memons. Interestingly the Memons also originated in Thatta (Sindh) & lived in Gujarat for a while & return back to Sindh after 1947.You can Google about Memon history. This is evident by their memoni language which is very similar to Sindhi language. Sindhis, Gujaratis & Marwaris are historically known for their business , the Biharis & UPwalas can do nothing but to create chaos, do some sher o shayri & to utmost eat paan & pollute the streets where they live. Economy is not the paanwalas' cup of tea !!

On the way to Hyderabad, one local policeman stopped us for some enquiry. I was surprised to know that he was a Punjabi.

I am from Karachi, I have left that city, and am working towards leaving this country. Unless people start demanding decentralization of taxes, meaning tax is collected and spend locally (ideally by block) instead of federaly, until then I don't care what happens to people of Pakistan, they are getting rightly deserved results of wanting everything to be centralized and solved by statism.
