    I really enjoy your videos. Now that I am in my "advanced" years I have difficulties with heights and rough terrain. I can enjoy places like Zion vicariously through videos like yours! Thanks.

    Wow! Thank you so much for sharing this. 💕 We've never been to Zion and had not thought of going in the winter to avoid crowds but it looked perfect. Except I'm so afraid of heights that I probably wouldn't have made it anywhere near even your first stop. We went to the Grand Canyon and when I heard about condor sightings I tried to psych myself up to do even a very short and wide path near the top of the gorge and ended up laying down flat against the rock wall shaking in terror while Troy took the camera and went down around the corner. So many hikers came up looking happy and felt so incredibly bad for me. 😕
    Glad you made it as far as you did and got to see some breathtaking scenery.

      Not going to lie it was a struggle for me (Sarah) and while I’m glad I did it I will not be doing it again!! Lol. Even though I opted out of the angels landing section I’m glad I did because knowing myself it would have been a train wreck 😂 scout lookout was plenty. There are other way more chill options in Zion too. We also did the scenic highway and that was great because you drive up and then walk a chill path a mile and have similar views.

    Well congratulations on making it to the top some of those aerial shots looking over the side of that mountain even scared me I don’t know how far I could’ve made it up there I gave you guys a lot of credit and it was so beautiful I can imagine what it looks like in person

      Thank you for watching! It was definitely scary. We watched one girl slip right in front of us (not too close to the edge) and we grabbed her backpack. Ugh that was the scariest part for me. It was worth the climb and heights but I don’t need to do it again 😂

    THAT was sick!! Very impressed by your courage, both of you. It's a dangerous hike in the best of weather. Reminded me of the Knife's edge on mount Katahdin although smaller scale but just as sketchy with snow and ice.

    I did Uluru/Ayers Rock long time ago. That's not possible anymore. So I can imagine that this clime was also difficult to do. I have it marked on google maps for the next USA trip.

    • @bonafideoutside
      @bonafideoutside  2 года назад +2

      That’s cool! Why isn’t it possible anymore? Yes definitely mark it down. The narrows are in the same park. Another amazing hike to add, but I would only do these in the off season because otherwise it is way too busy

      @tubbsplaza 2 года назад +1

      @@bonafideoutside For the original people (Aboriginals) the rock is spiritual it’s like a church. They don't want people to clime it anymore. But it’s also beautiful to walk around. So I’ll be back one day…. Lots of travel plans as you can see.
