- Latest fencing project by Bacren Fencing. This one was a 70M 6ft high Hit & Miss style fence, with a custom made gate as part of the job. This was posted on my facebook page, but just thought I would share on here for anyone who is remotely interested 😂

Good job! What size gap between the boards, looks really private. I have an old hit n miss fence that I'll giving some attention to shortly as its fairly rotted and the gaps between the boards are approx 2" so you can see straight through at an angle (not good). Also what size timber do you use for the horizontal braces?
@@ChrisC-kh4tp Thanks Chris, I used a 32mm gap on this one and the rails that I use are 88mm x 38mm x 3600mm or basically 3.5" x 1.5" x 12ft rails . Hope this helps !

Con common redwood is terrible stuff.
I use postmaster steel posts. They're designed to be hidden by fence planks and won't ever rot below soils.
