    • @1badjesus
      @1badjesus 8 лет назад +9

      +RB2331 Their lack of EMPATHY towards human suffering is textbook 101/ indicative of sociopathic traits. Gotta remember Junior tried to have Tony WHACKED a few years prior...and now they sit enjoying eachothers company all of that "murder plotting" bygones & water under the bridge! Hell if my brother owes me $8 and doesnt pay me im NEVER forgiving that!..ok i exagerate a "lil" but these men are sociopaths in the purest form...shiiiiit ALL of them were! Ralphie bashin that girls head in and the fellas bein MORE upset at Ralph for "Disrespecting The Bing", Vito shooting old man over a fender bender, Janice taking prosthetic leg from Russian Nurse, etc. It wouldnt surprise me if David Chase studied sociopathic behavior tendencies for if the show continually used VIOLENCE as a reflection of this mental behavior it would have morphed into a dumbed down Steven Segal mafia flick with someone "Lookin for Ritchie" (get it?)....
      HOWEVER the dialogue exchanged between these two in this scene actually shows how people with this disorder think. As an aside, to my recollection only TWO characters in the entire series who were outside the family, TRULY got an insight into the psychotic/selfish mindset these "people" (was gonna say "men" but the women were just as guilty) were capable of...and lived!
      1. Dr. Melfie whom in the penultimate episode FINALLY relinquishes Tony from her "care" as she has the epiphany she's actually ENABLING Tony.
      2. The Young Asian Male Patient at the halfway house who admired Junior as a surrogate "Father Figure" and who like Melfie has an epiphany when he realizes Junior's kinship/affection toward him is merely based on what the young man can provide for him. Nothing more; and like Melfie he reacts at the realization of being cond/swindled..but uses his fists!

      +MobKnowledge only emotional shitbags get nervous or upset (emo) about murder..sure its a sin, its a crime no doubt but...um it happens (and it happens from far worse people) as tony says were soldiers, sure were thugs - we were blue collar guys getting a piece of the action etc, etc you can call it whatever you want excuses or rationalizing criminal behavior but the real deviants, child molestors, serial killers (those who actually kill for pleasure nothing more) some sort of psycho-sexual deviant is the worse kind (like there are ranks within the criminal world at the level of deviancy) these guys are average sociopaths...not that big of a deal considering whats out there (cult leaders, massive level drug cartels, child molestors, sexual rings/child pedophelia, NAMBLA, just the thought of it makes me shudder, animal abusers/animal rights violations, religious zealots/terrorists killing in the name of a religion on a mass-level almost genocide) right and a bunch of fat italians making money running swag, doing a few hits here n there, and eating greasy food with a glass of wine is the worse kind of criminal (rolls eyes) please lol
