@CC Charles Schwab over here! Yes, we all know that Tony is the acting/street boss but is the de facto real boss, but one issue throughout the show is Junior pridefully insisting to Tony and others that he is "the real boss." In the famous "varsity athlete" episode (as his dementia begins to peak), Junior insists that "two bosses ain't it's all cracked up to be." I find it interesting that in this scene Junior drops all that pretense and (at least in private) acknowledges Tony as the legitimate boss while he's taken on a more emeritus role.

I enjoy the way they framed this scene. In the medium shot of Junior on the couch he looks very lonely and forgotten. The set dressing and wardrobe are fantastic too. Tony looks very modern and out of place in this home. By keeping the camera in the living room and just watching Tony walk in, and set down the food it gives the scene an isolated feeling. We, as viewers, never leave the living room because Junior never leaves the room. It's just a wonderful show.

It's amazing Uncle Junior can offer some of the most pristine and necessary advice for the situation. But given now we know of his history, he's insecure, jealous, angry and without a doubt a C U next Tuesday.

Ever notice in the shows when they’re filming on a set that there’s no ceiling? It’s like the walls are 20 feet high, it’s so obvious. And yet you rarely think about it

Junior would have made a great under boss for Tony and Silvio being his number 2 right hand man imagine that junior was very wise and still sharp I'm saying based off season 1 and 2 junior but they would have been a really tough crew to mess with having Paulie pussy Patsy Bobby Christopher etc but I'm not the one who wrote the script but It would be interesting to see how that would have gone if it where set up like that
