Furio didn't wait until it was too difficult to leave, he just did so.

Honestly all of the casting is top notch in the sopranos. I can't think of a single actor who doesn't nail their respective characters

I don’t know, in my opinion i think the place would smell...overly sweet, the product of way to many air fresheners, scented candles and etc.

That’s the creepiest thing about this scene. Sil & Chris have both killed a shit ton of people, but neither of them enjoy the act of killing per say, they’re just extremely willing to do it. When they meet people who seem to get off on murder, it even creeps them out

They did this strange scene to show that even seeing the mob being as ruthless as they are, there are always people even more ruthless, callous, and even strange than what you see (it’s the fallen human nature). They were spot on in doing this bizarre scene and also shows the immense hypocrisy of having the Crucifix (faith) the stark contrast with talking of deranged murder (evil). Amazing scripting...
Yeah, the religious decorations are reminiscent of some culture that puts up talismans to ward off evil spirts. I can only imagine what their priest has heard in confession over the years. Seriously creepy that they appear to be so devoutly religious, but go against one of the greatest tenets of their religion in that they murder for hire. Though maybe they see themselves as some kind of avengers as they are only whacking mobsters at their level.

The real reason Silvio and Chris are so freaked out. Because they realize that these people are the ones whose entire job it is to kill other killers. And they're old and not in jail, which means that they are really good at it. And that they would kill either Chris or Silvio in a heartbeat if someone paid them enough. The other other 2 being Dominic Chianese as Uncle Junior Soprano on Sopranos, and who played Johnny Ola in The Godfather II. And Vittorio Duse who played Don Tommasino in "The Godfather III. (played Zi Vittorio on Commandetori episode, the episode when they went Italy).

Too many funny/interesting moments in this one scene alone:
Chrissy recommending they do it themselves “Ninja Style” yet the blind daughter scares the shit out of hun from behind.
The way Sil nudges Chrissy in first was just hilarious.
Lou mentioning that Frank killed a man called Tommy Neri, and the man playing Frank (Richard Bright) was well known to have portrayed Al Neri in the Godfather trilogy.
The advice Junior passed down through Tony was to not mention drugs to Lou and his crew, yet it’s Lou who brings it up.

Don't know why, but I also got a kick out of Silvio's nudging Christopher through the doorway. Such a small detail, but shows you the attention to detail and underlying comedy this show offered.

It's the little things in this show, like when after Silvio pushes Chris to go inside, how the door makes that "haunted house" creeeeeeekk, it's perfect.

One of the elderly hit men that Silvio and Christopher meet is Frank Crisci. Crisci is played by actor Richard Bright who also played Al Neri, a Corleone family member and assassin, in all three Godfather movies. In this episode, the character talks about killing a "Tommy Neri," who was Al Neri's nephew in _The Godfather_.

Just an amazing scene.

This was one of the creepiest scenes in the entire series. The house looks like it's haunted; the psychopaths who live inside are even creepier than the regular goon squad; they're having cake later and a priest happens to show up after they discuss murder for hire. That other guy, "Chris," who happens to have the same birthday as our Chris is especially unnerving.
All sorts of weirdness.
Neither Sil nor Chris wants to go into that creepy place.
