Man these civics are getting worse and worse. Sounds like a damn vacuum with a hole in it. And im a Honda guy. 99 si and 06-14 si were the peak. All down hill from there.

the engine is great and it's not a bad sounding 2 liter, just people's taste in parts. I mean this is basically a straight pipe. If that res is supposed to cut down harsh frequencies it's not working

I'm going to use this resonator and a vibrant street power muffler for my k24 . I'm hoping for a deep tone
They should have used a bigger resonator. It needs to cut down on the rasp a little. Quality over volume
I had one of these body style civics (mine was a sport sedan). I just did a muffler delete and kept the stock resonator. That gave it some volume and kept the tone good. It did not sound raspy like this one does.
@@CactusJack252 I had a '92 Geo Storm LSI that I turbocharged back in 2003. It had a Pacesetter header, a cherry bomb glasspack muffler in place of the resonator and a Flowmaster Original 40 series 2-chamber muffler in the back. It had a nice tone and little to no rasp. Four cylinders can sound good but people always want to go the cheap route.

Oh hell naw. No way, this is a no go and way too quiet! Sounds no different than a stock 1992 Dodge Intrepid, and that's a damn shame 😐Owner should have just run an open manifold, which is hands down the best setup and provides optimal back pressure and increased fuel tank capacity to 55 gallons on these 2019 Honda Civic LX 2.0L's.

Around 86-88 decibels just at idle. Your crazy man. I Just had a stock resonator on my jeep at 1 point and it was around 85 decibels at idle and it was way to loud, especially around 3000 rpm it screamed down the highway. Hope your not deaf yet

Nothing like an obnoxiously loud sounding, weak, slow, 4 cylinder with a CVT. Nice job though 👍. Sorry, i tell it like it is.
As it is 4 cylinder cars, not bikes, are in my book the worst sounding cars without proper exhaust. My 60mm turbocharged 4 cylinder sounds pretty good. But its got cams and 2 mufflers. My turbo v6 sounds even better. The turbo v8 is just amazing. V8 to v16 are all great. Anyway as long as you dont make your 4 cylinder sound like a empty, farting, rattle can i dont mind the 4 cylinder sound.

Give the 3800 v6 a listen. It sounds like a classic v8 when it has an aggressive cam. Probably one of my favorite engine sounds. Mine is stock and I still like the way it purrs and backfires

I took my resonator off and just put a DBX there, the problem was at certain rpm it sounded more like this car than I wanted. it got some funny twisty looking glass pack on Amazon. anyway I have it where the stock muffler goes.
I think glass pack res and a straight through or laminar muffler is pretty much what you want for no rasp. basically just louder and less restrictive than stock but you could probably still sell it without anyone saying anything. My catted rp6 and tune help make it more crackly and fun though

Raspy as f, I think the best way to get a non raspy nicer flow n sounding exhaust is to replace the cats with high flow quality ones, replace resonator with quality ones n get mufflers or no mufflers to turn up the volume
