I was in the Melbourne town hall nearly 50 years ago. I’d taken my mum to hear Ivan Rebroff a German Opera singer who sang popular Russian songs & excepts from Operas. He was un miked and the town hall was an enormous drafty building back then. At one stage, he walked down the centre aisle while singing The Volga Boatman’s Song. He happened to stop right beside mum & I as he finished the final chorus of this magnificent old song. My god!!! Now I know why Opera singers always sing side by side and not front on, into each other’s faces. His un microphoned voice had absolute deafening power. The other time I experienced the “full surround sound” of an acoustic human’s voice was in London at my first Opera. A “young man from Italy” called Luciano had came over to debut his talents. MY GOD!! I will never forget that night either. These men have other worldly qualities about them. It made me wonder about the size of their diaphragm & if their vocal cords were different to the rest of us mere mortals?

But to await the God-given chance of return to heaven

Sweet Compassion

Catastrophe hangs overhead in these end times
Little direction do people have, so occupied with life
Dafa, the Great Way that saves, opens Heaven’s gates
What the leaflet in my hand conveys is true
I strive to help humanity at the Creator’s behest
Most lives in this world are higher beings incarnate

Heavenly voices, no more, no less.
🙏🙏❤️
This voice will be heard for the next three to five centuries and I don't think it will ever diminish.
The depth and power in his voice is unmatched!!! It’s the best in the world!!! Mainstream performers are no where close.
Now he just needs to sing the right words lol
😂😂
Maestro Pavarotti and Romantic Composer Franz Schubert! That's what I call a Heavenly pairing! One thing we can never complain about in our Catholic church is the music. The great classical composers produced a wealth of beautiful music for the Catholic church.
My dear father just passed a few weeks ago and the vocalist sang Ave Maria during his funeral. It was beautiful and now when I hear it I think of my father.
My sincere condolences 🙏
Thank you

Why would anyone in their right mind dislike anything this man this genius did
I'll just judge the music.
He was a mastermind because of hard work and exercise.
I am just a simple punk.
But when I hear Pavarotti's AVE Maria I'll cry like a little baby.
And that is what I'm thankful for.

They must be "sound-deaf ",like colour blind ??? Can't cutch a note ,nor sing it. And I don't mean like Pavarotti, like everyday humming.
APPARENTLY, THEY'RE NOT IN THEIR RIGHT MIND. THAT'S WHY THEY'RE DISLIKING THIS. THEIR IDEA OF A SINGER IS PROBABLY SOMEBODY LIKE " EMINEM." 🙉 🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣
I saw Pavoratti in Rome in the early 80's when I was 12. Talk about getting an ignorant American pre-teen some serious culture! It changed me FOREVER. I can still picture the sun setting as Pavoratti sang Ave Marie.
James I was humbled to see him in the 80s in Louisville Kentucky.
Never seen him live.... but my dad once said "your funky music is uncultured, let me show you something" he introduced me to Pavarotti, 7 years later and we go fishing together with Opera music 😅
So cool man would've been life changing
I have hard core envy for your experience.
He was God’s gift to humanity. Appreciate him!
Your statement kinda reminded me of a line from the movie gladiator, but that led me to think about the missed opportunity for a block buster movie about pavorotti they did one with elton john, and so many others but finding an actor with this type of presence could be difficult
@Kyle Von but not as great and beautiful as him

Muslims view Virgin Mary or Maryam in Quran/Arabic as one of the most righteous women to have lived on earth. However, they don't pray to her or take her as intercession when praying to God/Allah. Quran, Al Maidah 5:116.

The piece is in German not in italian
@@carlo6643 oh thanks
The piece was written by an Austrian composer and has German language lyrics in its original form.
But the whole world can sing it in whatever language it wants.
Because it’s not the language, it’s the musical soul that counts!!!
I think Schubert, an Austrian, would also see it that way.

God have mercy on Italy and the world at this time. We shall overcome Corona Virus. Love from Kenya 🇰🇪

@Miqi Ivy 说的很对!
Pavarotti was so big in the 90's that, in my backwater country (Nicaragua), in the aftermath of a turbulent decade, there were like 4 channels and one of them played this video every noon, either for the sheer beauty or the religious symbolism, I don't know. But every last person with a black & white TV and an antenna knew this man and this performance.
