Ave Maria is easily one of the most beautiful songs ever composed. There are not a lot of songs that bring up such strong emotions in people. And to think that Schubert on his death bed could have never guessed that his music would still bring tears to peoples eyes worldwide, 200 years later...
I don’t care which faith you practice or was brought up into, Ave Maria has a unique aura to it like very few have. Like I’ve said in this post, I am not Catholic but this is the ultimate worship composition. Truly amazing inspiration.

My tears flow freely each and everytime I hear this angelic performance. As life would have it- On my wedding day many years ago, my mother was dying of pancreatic cancer. She loved the Blessed Mother and prayed to her daily. Ave Maria was performed on my wedding day. We had the entire wedding playing through a live audio stream to her bedroom. Although in a coma, she showed life during this part of the ceremony, with her eyes opening and her mouth searching for words. She later passed during the reception. The day was bitter sweet. The following year on this same day- my business burned to the ground. Since then, my wife has passed from cancer as well. This song keeps me connected to them both. I feel overwhelmed with love each time I hear this performed. This performance in particular is my favorite. What a beloved timepiece.

All my life through school I always sang in our schools choir. When I was 12 I auditioned for the Kentucky Allstate choir for the only solo, boys and girls were both auditioned from all the school districts in Kentucky. I was the 13th pick out of 250 kids and I was also the winner to sing the solo. The solo was Ave Maria. Took me 2 weeks to learn it an I’ll t was hard to keep from crying during. I still remember the song word for word an to me it was one of my most prized memories and achievements of my life.
Please let's not use the ending -s in Present Simple. It is getting old-fashioned. We don't need to use it in singular verb forms because -s is an indicator of PLURAL form for substantives (book-books, house - houses etc.) That's why "it gives" sound illogically. He/she/it is ONE person/subject, that's why he/she/it don't need -s. Everyone should say "it give" as well as we do it for other verb forms (I give, you give etc.) and in Past Indefinite, too - all verb forms are the same for each person (I gave, you gave, he GAVE etc.) It make the system clear and well balanced.

My tears flow freely each and everytime I hear this angelic performance. As life would have it- On my wedding day many years ago, my mother was dying of pancreatic cancer. She loved the Blessed Mother and prayed to her daily. Ave Maria was performed on my wedding day. We had the entire wedding playing through a live audio stream to her bedroom. Although in a coma, she showed life during this part of the ceremony, with her eyes opening and her mouth searching for words. She later passed during the reception. The day was bitter sweet. The following year on this same day- my business burned to the ground. Since then, my wife has passed from cancer as well. This song keeps me connected to them both. I feel overwhelmed with love each time I hear this performed. This performance in particular is my favorite. What a beloved timepiece.

I am no Catholic but certainly no mistake, this interpretation of Ave María has something different. Angelical, spiritual, you can feel this melody truly is a tribute to María with heart and soul behind every word, gesture and orchestral playing of every single instrument. A masterpiece!!!!

Yes, Mirusia sings the Cathoic hymn with such devotion and reverence! To my knowledge Mirusia is not a Catholic, but her voice is divine. A retired Catholic priest in Canada.

All my life through school I always sang in our schools choir. When I was 12 I auditioned for the Kentucky Allstate choir for the only solo, boys and girls were both auditioned from all the school districts in Kentucky. I was the 13th pick out of 250 kids and I was also the winner to sing the solo. The solo was Ave Maria. Took me 2 weeks to learn it an I’ll t was hard to keep from crying during. I still remember the song word for word an to me it was one of my most prized memories and achievements of my life.

Please let's not use the ending -s in Present Simple. It is getting old-fashioned. We don't need to use it in singular verb forms because -s is an indicator of PLURAL form for substantives (book-books, house - houses etc.) That's why "it gives" sound illogically. He/she/it is ONE person/subject, that's why he/she/it don't need -s. Everyone should say "it give" as well as we do it for other verb forms (I give, you give etc.) and in Past Indefinite, too - all verb forms are the same for each person (I gave, you gave, he GAVE etc.) It make the system clear and well balanced.
