Here's a FACT. I have tried several things in the past. I have some of the best and most memorable lucid dreams when I am tired as hell.. I'm talking those dreams that you can journal a day after, because all of it is still vividly stuck in memory. And the stories are long and elaborate, but you recall all of it, with all sorts of characters and journeys. I just LOVE this topic.

I am beginning to educate myself with regards to Lucid dreaming (following the tips) without really focusing on achieving a Lucid dream. In life (for me), I’ve just found some things tend to happen to me when I don’t try too hard, but still take some action towards it. I’m not sure if that’s in line with manifestation skills or not. I’m a 71 yr old male just now hearing of lucid dreaming. Regarding getting a good night sleep this is a problem for me as I wake up 3 to 5 times a night with the need to pee. What can I do to change this?
This was so interesting, Is Lucid Dreaming an out of body experience that's why you need to be able to experience sleep paralysis? Ive never experienced that. I use to Astral travel in my sleep when I was a kid and fly everywhere. Now I have not dreamt in years but I have very graphic nightmares that wake me up maybe once a fortnight.. Im regimented when it comes to my sleep I do go to bed same time and wake up same time every day but feel exhausted when I wake up like i've been super busy in my sleep. I have solid deep sleeps for 8 hrs. but last 6 weeks my sleeps have been unsettled i'm up and down all night and less hours about 6 hrs. I would love to be able to lucid dream or even just have a nice normal dream.
If you are a smoker or vapor this will work I'm not sure if you're not a smoker... put on a step one nicotine patch and go to sleep. You will become the master easily lucid dreaming with full remembrance.
Haha I usually twist my arm skin pinch myself or look at my hands to check I’m sleeping! I check a little bc I usually go a little wild and outrageous In my lucid dreams! I wonder if you could make a website where we could come and talk to other lucid dreamers? Possibly share stories? Maybe you could read and dissect them in videos?
I think he meant safety as mental health, or sleep hygiene, as to lucid dreaming itself, it's not dangerous, (however the way you approach it may be tiring) but lucid dreaming nightmares are not something you want to get yourself into as they can be much worse than the normal ones.

What does being 18 have to do with anything? And you don't HAVE to wake up, or do reality checks, this just helps, but if you want to do reality checks and your only problem is waking up, then doing them only during the day is perfectly ok, you just have to work harder on recognising your dream signs, as it's easier to gain lucidity after waking up and going back to sleep during the night and it's more difficult if you don't do that.
