Hello Everyone and thank you very much for your comments on my music video. It took a long recovery for me from my accident and like always, my Mama never gave up on me. She encouraged me to succeed in life and to not look at the past but to look forward to the future. I believe that you can do anything you put your mind to. Thank you again very much for your wonderful comments.
Thank you. I believe that anything is possible. I enjoy volunteering at the daycare. Playing my guitar and singing to the children, reading to them, playing with them. My mother taught me that every day is a new day and to make the best of it. Thank you again.
Thank you. I will never forget my mother and my father. My father died when I was 12 years old, but I remember things about him. Like him driving me to my horse back riding lessons, letting me come with him to his work every second saturday, and even going to Tim Hortons with him and much more. My mother was a wonderful lady and mother to me. She raised me to love and not hate, to respect every one nicely and with respect, to be independent and much more. Thank you again.
Peter you are definitely a testament to kindness and generosity. You come freely each week to spend time with the children, who respond to your humour and songs. The infant children love to sit and listen to the songs you sing to them. Your gently approach often calms a tearful child. I am very please to say that I work along side you with our precious miracles. You do a wonderful job and your helpfulness, and dedication to your goals is during inspiring. Whale Done.....Peter!!!!!
Hello and Thank you. My mother taught you kindergarten? Cool . Yes, she was a wonderful woman and mother. She taught me to never give up. How are you doing?
Peter, I love your inspirational song. I have replayed it over ten times to date . The words, the melody, the images and your voice tell the story of your journey through this injury and the survivor of a traumatically acquired brain injury that you are. As a mother of a son who has a traumatically acquired brain injury, your song is especially touching. As a family friend I know that your mother above is blessed as you have dedicated your heroic song to your hero.
Hello, and thank you. I miss my mother and my father. My father died when I was 12 years old, and my mother died 3 years ago. I try to look forward and not backwards and I try to think positive. I am now volunteering and working in a daycare for the past 9 years, and I volunteer at the YMCA, and I also work at a place called open space which is a place for people with disabilities to meet, talk, socialize, and play games. That is only 1 evening a week, and it's part of the Extend a family. I also volunteer for the extend a family to. I also drive a car. My mother taught me to never give up. My father was there for me to until I was 12. Thank you
As a first responder in Cambridge, I have seen the aftermath of far too many tragic accidents on our roads. I can't tell you how refreshing it was for me to read your story in the daycare newsletter. I don't often get to hear how peoples lives are impacted after their accidents. I have never seen you without a smile on your face. The work you do for our children is invaluable! I'm sure your mother is very proud of you. Thanks for being such a positive example for our children, keep making music!
Hello. I'm sorry to hear abiut your mother and father. It's hard to lose parents. I know because I lost both of mine but I find to try to think positive still and remember the good memories
I think that might have been the most beautiful song I've heard. Your story is inspiring, and so is your song. But you were given a gift from God for music that I hope you continue to use. What a blessing you are!
Thank you. As hard as it was I never gave up. I was 7 years old when I was hit and when I was 12 years old, my father past away, which left my mother to raise 3 children. Me being the youngest and with a brain injury, it was tough. But she taught me to never give up, think positive and not negative, and to look forwards and not backwards. My mother past away 5 years ago. I am now volunteering and working at Peekaboo childcare. I've been there for 11 years. I bring my guitar there and sing to the children and help out in the classrooms. I volunteer at the YMCA one day a week and I work a bit for extend a family. I am also going to college for ECE. I also drive a car. I believe you can do anything you put your mind to. Thank you again.
Hello Everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that I have another video on my channel called Life is like a storm. I also have a new one coming in a few months.
I am so sorry about your mothers passing. I was doing an assignment for school and came across your video, it brought me to tears. I am going to use it for my class. Thank you so much for sharing and I hope you find comfort in what you are doing.
Thank You, Peter, this made my morning beautiful. A Gorgeous recording and video. Your story is inspirational. You're a talented Artist. I know a person doesn't perform like you do if it does not come from the soul. I suspect your talents in music pulled you through as well as your Mother, Family, and Friends. Best Regards, Tom Spencer
Hello and Thank you. Yes, singing has helped me to get through. I do like to sing through the heart, because singing is my passion. When I was 12 years old, 5 years after my accident, my father past away. A year later, after my grief group, I thought of some words for a song about and for my father. Since then, I wanted to sing. My voice was not as good back then but I never wanted to give up. My mother past away 5 years ago, in which I dedicated this song for her, because she never gave up on me, and kept on encouraging me to keep going. She taught me to never look backwards but forwards in life, everyday is a new day, think positive and not negative and never give up. I now work, and volunteer in a child care center, in which I bring my guitar there and sing for the children. I work some for extend a family, and volunteer at the YMCA on Saturday mornings and I drive a car. I believe you can do anything you put your mind to. Thank you Peter
Peter this is so beautiful. I remember your mother sharing your story and how proud she was of your progress. She would be so proud to hear you sing this song and yes I believe in miracles and know God is at work in you as you use your gifts.
This video is amazing. I've only met you once as my son only recently started going to the daycare you volunteer at, but your story is a very inspiring one. Good luck with reaching your goal. I have shared your video on my Facebook account. I'm sure you will get there in no time.
It was nice to meet you today, Peter. Thank you for sharing your story with me through this song. I feel so bad for what happened to you as a child, but it sounds like your mom was a true angel who guided you through the storm and greatly help make you the amazing person you are today.
Thank you and your welcome. It was nice to meet you to today. Yes, my mother did teach me growing up to never give up, think positive, take one day at a time, look forwards and not backwards and you can do anything you put your mind to. My dad was there for me to but he passed away when I was 12 years old.
Melissa Cotton Thank you and your welcome. It's been a long recovery for me but I am doing good now. I believe you can do anything you put your mind to. think positive. Anyways thank you again.
Thank you and your welcome Marissa Parker. Yes it was a tough thing to go through. 5 years later when I was 12 years old, my father past away which left my mother to raise 3 children on her own, me being the youngest and with a brain injury, it was challenging. She did an awesome job though. Unfortunately she past away in 2012. She taught me to think positive and not negative, to look forwards and not backwards, and everyday day is a new day. I now drive a car, volunteer and work in a daycare, which I bring my guitar there and sing for the children, I work a bit for extend a family and volunteer at the YMCA. I also going to college to finish my ECE. I believe you can do anything you put your mind to. Thank you c

I got my TBI when I was 7 years old. I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle and in a coma for 11 days. When I awoke I needed to relearn everything over again. I wrote a song called, “Miracles “, which is a song about my accident and hospital stay. It’s on my channel as a video song, and on iTunes. I even wrote a book called, “ Miracles, my life’s Journey”, which is available on Amazon. It’s about my life growing up with a brain injury from the age of 7 years old. Please check it out. Also, please check out my channel here. Thank you. Have a great day.
Hello, how are you? The instruments were a keyboard played by a man named Chris, a guitar played by a man named Peter and I played some guitar as well.
Hello, how are you? I was in a coma for 11 days. When I awoke, I needed to relearn how to walk, talk, eat and use my muscles all over again. I think I was in the hospital though for a few months.
Some people experience out of body experiences as children and they saw God or a light when they were unconscious or in surgery. Did you experience any of those things by chance?
Hello, how are you? Yes I did. While I was in a coma, I walked through a pitch black dark tunnel, towards a bright yellow light that called my name. It said, "Peter, come here". So, I walked towards the light. As I was walking, I heard my parents voices calling to me. They said, Peter, come here, Peter, come here. They were reaching out their arms for me. I turned around, saw my parents and ran back towards them.
