Food in Istanbul made our adventure there even better! It is actually one of our favourite cities in Europe! Sylvie loved bread there, so good! Great video, made us really hungry. We cannot wait to visit Turkey again 😋
Food and drinks in Turkey are either healthy or delicious. Ayran, turnip juice, pickle juice, boza, and kefir may taste bad, but they are all probiotic. If the food is very delicious, we balance it with healthy drinks and once you get used to it, you will love it too because it is very useful.
D Turkish delights, lokum, looked really delicious, yummy. D baklava looked divine. D tiny pieces reminded me of d ones I had recently from a lebanese kebab restaurant in Kuantan, a small city in d east coast of peninsular Malaysia. Six pieces, RM10, not bad at all.
Great vlog on a really interesting topic. Istanbul is a wonderful city and Turkey has some of the best food in the world. My wife and I are due to spend a couple of weeks in southern Turkey in two weeks time (this will be our 15th holiday in Turkey). Do you miss Thailand?
drinks you taste has their own special place: ayran: after you eat hot spicy things, it is used to calm your stomache.. so you can go on eating spicy kebabs all day long. and it should not be so salty salgam: spicy beetroot juice, goes well along any type of kebab even fish , just more spice in a drink ;) mussels are just night snacks after you drink a lot of beer and craving some type of complimentary
Thank you for a wonderful travel video. It is super helpful that you put the address and name of each location in your inbox. It helps a lot when people look for the places that you had enjoyed and know the food is approved by you. Danny
Hi geniuses, i am from Argentina ...I wanted to tell you I love your videos...for everyone who has no the chance to travel ,you make us to feel close by ..greetings from Buenos Aires
WOW! What an amazing food adventure you all had! All of the foods looked so delicious especially that one food with the meat inside of the flatbread! Was it called a Kebab? Either way, awesome video, really enjoyed watching =)
@@2Passports1Dream Thank you for your feedback.if you have any idea of doing a video about my beautiful country pls let me know.I’ll definitely help you both. Greetings from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
im REALLY late to this but i got to say this, i really hope you took home some turkish delight for your mum and the ayran is not for everyone but i think thats more because of culture and eating habits, europe or the west in general are not used to salty yoghurt so your head is like ok this might have gone bad or something BUT ayran is actually my favorite when eating kebab or just anything with meat and spices because it like washes down the spices and calms your tastebuds from all the fatty spiced meat, its like the perfect combo
Sweettooth Adraina enjoyed the delights 😋 Dylan did also 👊 Dürüm is one of my favotite turkish food 💪 Ow wow the seafood oiled baked dish, ow my budha, that is so yummie, i missed that for a very long time, 17 years ago was the lastvtime i had that 😏 This is a very good vlog you two 👍 And as always, C Ya in the next one Dylan & Adriana, cheers 🙌🍻🍹
actually kazandibi literally means bottom of the pot. thats why its burned . i didn't know that kazandibi includes chicken. there is a dessert called tavukgöğsü which literally means chicken breast :)
You are making my stomach rumble. I want to eat those favory foods!!! How do turks keep their weight? I would probably be fat! Can you tell me the anthony bourdain place? What’s the name?
Hahaha I have NO IDEA how they do it! There so much amazing food! The place Anthony went to is called durumzaade (there’s a Google link in the description box!) ❤️❤️
Hehee the pickle juice was a little too much for us too 😂👀 but the rest was amazing!! We agree, small portions but many things to try is always the way to go 😍
I wonder about your experiences as a Turk, there are many Arab tourists in Turkey. Do you think Turkey is like an Arab country? Or is it a modern country?
I’m not sure what you’re asking? Its a very modern country - with a lot of history and heritage around every corner. We don’t have any authority to speak on it as we haven’t seen enough of Türkiye yet! 🤗
Kazan dibi başka, tavuk göğsü başka. Yanlış bilgi 😉 Neden kazan dibi: eskiden kazanın dibinde kalan muhallebi yi Kazandibi derledi. Muhallebi ye tavuk göğsü koyup, ‘tavuk göğsü’ diye satılırdı.

I didn't know Adriana loves pickles. I wonder if she had tried d sweet pickled fruits esp mango when u guys were in Penang.
I wonder if your food guide took u to any shop that sells jacked potato, stuffed baked potato, Turkish style.
