korean hair salons are great. I've visited some in america but it was more a hospitality type thing. Just very open and a lot of talking. Korea is more like spa.
Nani I would recommend Juno hair. They are good and affordable. Also if you come early, you don’t need to make reservations. They have a few salons in Seoul and the one in Myeongdong is pretty good. It‘s really like a café inside.. They serve you drinks and snacks and let you browse on their ipad while they do your hair. They’re also very good with bleaching stubborn Asian hair. I got myself pink ombres last time and they only bleached my hair once for a medium pink. My friend got herself a super cute bob cut, inspired by a kpop girlgroup member. I would recommend coming in with a picture if you don‘t speak Korean, though. Their English is very limited.
So I was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan for three years. And I went out in town to brighten my hair once... their stuff is sooo strong. I ended up Caution Sign Orange. They didn't mean to but they weren't used to my fine hair and left it on too long for my hair. But I loved that salon and continued to go for hair cuts. :D

I just moved to japan and had this problem! I couldn’t find any professional hair dye just box dye that only went up to 20. But i tried the bleach box dye and it still turned me platinum blonde so i question if the box dye bleach abides by that law... was way too good to only be 20 developer

Asians have very resilient hair. Its usually very thick, strong, and straight. The texture is different than caucasian hair. It's a lot like native American hair. They just have beautiful straight hair naturally lol
I'm Asian, and I can say -- It's naturally really thick. Like the diameter of each hair shaft is thicker than other races. I usually get my hair done at Asian run salons, but once I was getting my hair done by one that wasn't, and she kept commenting on how thick my hair was. I personally fucked up my hair by over bleaching before, but even then it's not as bad as it would have been compared to others. There wasn't that much breakage or falling out. It was just dry and gross. And my hair isn't even as thick/straight as some other Asian people I know. My sister, for example, can barely even braid her hair because it's so intensely thick and straight.

Asians have very resilient hair. Its usually very thick, strong, and straight. The texture is different than caucasian hair. It's a lot like native American hair. They just have beautiful straight hair naturally lol
I'm Asian, and I can say -- It's naturally really thick. Like the diameter of each hair shaft is thicker than other races. I usually get my hair done at Asian run salons, but once I was getting my hair done by one that wasn't, and she kept commenting on how thick my hair was. I personally fucked up my hair by over bleaching before, but even then it's not as bad as it would have been compared to others. There wasn't that much breakage or falling out. It was just dry and gross. And my hair isn't even as thick/straight as some other Asian people I know. My sister, for example, can barely even braid her hair because it's so intensely thick and straight.
@@shorty589100 my hair has spilt ends and dried ends. We just have hair treatment that straightens and moisturize. Of course, we take really good care of it too 😂
