Future video suggestion: What does healthy hair look like, feel like, etc. You often say that their hair looks crispy, dry and I'm really curious how you are able to spot that in your videos? Then also how to treat damaged hair due to different hair tragedies? Something that like would be cool :)
(Im not a professional but this is what I picked up from personal observation and tips i gathered from people) If hair is healthy it usually has a reflective glossy look. Every healthy hair type is different in the way it looks so that needs to be taken into consideration as well. For straight/wavy hair it can slightly resemble hay and have a dull look to it. Sometimes it might look wirey. For curls/coils it might be harder for some to determine if it's healthy just based on the look. These hair patterns can hide split ends/damage well depending on the severity, but can still have a hay/dull look to it.
You can also use things like hair masks, and deep conditioning treatments to help your damaged hair. Things like sleep, water, diet, exercise, and emotional well being can play a factor into what you hair looks like as well

Just go for it anyway. What could possibly go wrong? 5. Ruin your shit, and then literally rinse and repeat all the same mistakes to try to fix it. And then very often - use black box dye to cover it all up. Just wild.

The last girl is from the UK and would not even be able to get the right products unless she sent away for them online or knew, as a white woman, to go to a hair supply shop. All the hair supply shops in the UK are catered to black women (because obviously we have need of specialist products) and only young white women from Eastern Europe go to them after migrating here (they are in migrant areas) and the EE women typically buy hair extensions and nails. You don't have to like it. It's a fact. Even though no one is racist in the shops, American social media makes young British white girls think that they can't go into "black spaces" (even though black people in the UK are nothing like AAs) so members of the lower class like this girl (I'm not being rude. I'm British. Her accent says it all.) do not typically dare to visit the shops and get their hair products from no specialist shops that obviously don't carry the right supplies. That's why she can love Bead Mondo to her heart strings but only use box bleach. It's what she would be able to get. It's sad. You'd more likely see a white man in one with his mixed race daughter trying to buy hair products. Most lower class white people in the UK get their hair products from the supermarket and our supermarkets are tiny, just like our food portions.

In the UK it's so hard to get like TUBS of bleach, the girl with the box of bleach and little bottles has about the best kit you can get in regular shops round here! (it's really not that expensive though - those two boxes and four bottles of developer will have come in under £15-20)
@@leapintothewild I don't know, she bought silver shampoo (the one she bought is dirt cheap, like 2/3 a bottle) and two toners, in my experience those are about 8/10 each depending on offers. I'm not saying she SHOULD have done it that way, she's obviously still going to have to fix it so it will end up costing still more, but a bleach and tone at a salon would have cost at least 4 times as much as she paid for the whole thing, I'm sure. Yeah, "professional"? I have never bleached my hair went to a hairdresser and the lady was so close to burning my hair off. My hair ended up patchy, dry and EXTREMELY DAMAGED. It even stopped growing completely for almost a year the bottom where it got the worst damaged just stays tangled that I may cut it and regrow and is just now barely starting to grow out. I don't trust anyone anymore.

Just took blue from my hair using swarkopf, bleached my roots, then applied black to roots and Brad mondo turquoise on the rest. I have never been so in love first time using Brad mondo color (bought 2 of each color during mega black Friday sale) gotta tell y'all his color is absolutely amazing!!! My hair feels great!!!! Plus the color is so vibrant and easy to work with I love it
Brad I accidentally got my sisters into watching your video and we are now begging our dad (the hairdresser of the home) to do wolf cuts on our hair, big fan of your videos you are super funny xx
Used to dye my hair myself but honestly since I became a mom I just don't have the time to really do a efficient dye or bleach job without my daughter needing me in the middle of the process. I switched to a stylist and honestly just way more worth it. I appreciate my hair so much more, my hair is healthier, longer, and in the long run cheaper because I'm not dying or bleaching it like every month. My hairdresser did such a good job at achieving EXACTLY what I ask for instead of doing it myself and not getting the exact result.
I was in the same Situation. I had violett, colour remover, red hair and than I wanted to get back brunette and it turned out black. I bleached it 3 times in 2 month and didnt get the orange out. Now im going for ginger and love it. I studied brads videos so much in the last years and love the way my hair turned out. Thank you brad :3
I’ve never gasped at one of your videos Brad. But when the second girl turned around and showed us the back with the brown/black, I gasped so hard I choked.
OMG! When you're talking about not piling your hair in a bun reminded me of my sister in law bleaching her hair ~ she piled it up and it MELTED TOGETHER! It was awful! She had to shave her head! Sally Jesse Raphael flew her to CA to do a segment on "Beauty products gone bad" or something like that (it was in the 90s) I'll never forget that. She had long thick hair to her waist until then.
I've been a fan of Brad's for years and just realized I click on the videos to watch drama, but end up getting educated on what not to do and how to do it right. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ u Brad!
I went from black boxdye to blonde… took me about 3 sittings at the salon because we didn’t want to damage my hair too much. I’m really happy with the results 🥰❤️. I’m glad I took the time to do it in several sessions.
It took me about 5 sessions (spaced over about 12 months because it's expensive) to get to a level 10. Definitely worth it. Even if you do it yourself, you still need to space it out.
This is why I sing the praises of bleach baths. It helps make sure everything gets on fast, and the results have just been more even and consistent for me. Plus! Less damage than straight bleach. I also haven't dealt with permanent dyes since I was 30. Fantasy colors once I became disabled, and I'm loving it! (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
@bradmondo I'd ❤️, LOVE for you to do a react vid or whatever on Catherine Middleton's hair styles over the year. She's elegant, sympathetic, and always scores an A+ from me in fashion, hair, and makeup. That'd be fun, right?
I "box" dyed my hair at home ONCE & NEVER did it again, I had super long hair at the time, to my bum, didn't use enough product, I was young at the time too, my hair was orange and patchy, had to go to a hairdresser & have it corrected (which cost loads) I cried for weeks & wore hats. Definitely learned my lesson, I have my hair highlighted regularly by a professional hairdresser & would NEVER do it myself EVER.
If it makes u feel any better... I just did my first color correction to get the rainbow out of my kids' hair, and it actually worked because of your tips! My kid is a natural ginger, and we had previously done a literal rainbow around the head. Pretty much all the color had come out except for the green and a little purple. So I went in on only the color that was left with foils, and it came out really well for an amateur. Now I just have to do the roots, and they want mostly pink with blue underneath. Hopefully, it will come out cute.
I can’t be only one hoping at end of bleach fails videos that there able fix it and see results for it And not be bummed out it still looks horrible 😂❤

I'm not saying she SHOULD have done it that way, she's obviously still going to have to fix it so it will end up costing still more, but a bleach and tone at a salon would have cost at least 4 times as much as she paid for the whole thing, I'm sure. They usually make you either have a cut or finish at the same time. Plus you can't put a price on the thrill you get from the gamble of going into the bathroom and changing your hair yourself. There's a bad scientist in all of us!
There's a sally's beauty in most cities in the UK... And they sell tubs of bleach and developer which isn't crazy expensive 🤷♀️ the developers are a few pound each for a litre
@@Angela-ke4gp some cities, but personally I'd have to drive nearly an hour to get to one which wouldn't be worth the saving.
@@Angela-ke4gp I live in London and I’ve never seen one in my whole life.
That genuine guttural laugh when that first girl busted out t18 😂
I love how Brad always takes time out of his day to complement us and give us tips
'Would i like it better... if it was better?? yea' killed me lmaoo
17:18 the way I cackled when Brad gasped when she showed the back of her head. I'm sorry girly but you have such a good attitude about it! We all need some of your chill attitude when things go wrong
I love Brad’s chaotic-happy energy. Very ADHD but under-control lol. 😁
17:14 i audibly gasped oh my god 😭
Me too!
No, that was THE scariest thing
Same🤣🤣🤣
A jump scare 😨
Saaaame 😂
"It's just a bit of a mess, it hasn't gone atrociously"....her definition of atrocious and mine are totally different. OMG I'd be sobbing.
Merry Christmas Brad and everyone watching!
i've been itching to go blonde back like when i was a kid again but there's no way i'm doing it at home. even if i were doing all the things brad said honestly my arms would be so tired lol. let someone else do it and i have peace of mind it will be done correctly. worth the price even if it's overpriced tbh
@@Orophile_303 i’ll definitely only go to a well reviewed person from someone who recommends a person personally. i would rather be dishwater blonde than have my hair fried off 😬
It’s tough to find a professional to get it right I got my done at Walmart salon it turned out strawberry orange then I went to a EXPENSIVE lady she charged me 250$ to fix it and it turned yellow 😂 the thing is it looked good under her lighting because she had a white light in her salon once I got outside I could tell it was yellowwww
@@Orophile_303 that’s why you research really well and find someone with amazing reviews not every hair dresser is bad
The first girl is absolutely gorgeous! She slayed every hair color 💀 love her!!
That first girl was honestly such an icon, despite her fails.
I feel like it's been forever since we've seen some really good bleach fails. I wish I had popcorn when this video started. forget watching horror movies. I watch these when I need a good-natured scare.
Question: Doesn't it make more sense to do the Color Oops first, and then do the bleaching? I don't know, maybe it's just me. It seems like the Color Oops would take out some of the color, so the bleach wouldn't have to do as much work.
My husband asked why I wasn't recording myself bleaching my hair for "my fashionable hair guy on RUclips" lmao! He loves Brad's style. I told him I'm not going to fu
awww amazing, I am doing my hair on Thursday but you could also record and upload your success ❤
Sick with covid on Christmas day, but watching people destroy their hair always puts a smile on my face (not sure what that says about me personally, but i'm definitely not alone, haha)... thanks for the upload, and Happy Holidays to all
i hope you feel better soon!
@@nelloitt6910 Thank you, I'm hanging in there
I’m just getting over COVID now. I’ve been feeling like poop for 2 weeks now, but finally have been getting my strength and energy back. I hope you feel better soon. Sleep as much as you can and lots of fluids ❤
I’ve got covid as well, it’s absolutely awful x
I hope everybody feels better soon
This is a level of calm and chill during a crisis that I can only aspire to. My God.
Merry Christmas Brad and have a great new year when it comes 🎄🧑🏻🎄🎅🏼🎄
Lmao when the last girl turns around. I'm dead. 😂 thank you for this. Pure entertainment.
The amount of time, money and effort some of these woman do to try to get their hair right on their own is crazy. Use all of that to go to a specialist like Brad and get it done right the first time.
exactly and like if ur gonna spend on that $ on products and extra shit at least know wtf ur doing and having it right the FIRST time 😂
"Would I like it better if it was better?" What I say every morning about my hair 🤣🤣🤣 Love you Brad!
Thank you @brad mondo. His videos taught me this year to never bleach my black black hair blond and see a professional when I want a good cut. I am not gonna end up on a Brand Mondo fail video, lol! Merry Christmas Brad, your vids have brought me joy the whole 2022!! 🎄 🎉 🎁
I bought myself your leave in foaming toning magic🤩 I love so much. And my daughter loved the stickers that came with. So fun!! Amazing as always Brad.
Oh Brad, I'm so glad I found your line of haircare/color. I never have to worry again how my hair will turn out. As if right now I am blue and purple, and my hair couldn't be healthier. 💙💜💙💜
Plus the color is so vibrant and easy to work with I love it
“Would I like it better, if it was better? Yeah” 😂
I hope Brad had a good holiday and I hope everyone else had a good holiday too.
I love you Brad, your videos always makes me feel so much better❤
Why is Brad Mondo so iconic 😍 Such a vibe!
Brad be having me rollin, at 7am making my kids lunch bc his commentary is hands down the best. Give him his own tv show!
I would call this girl once a week just to hear her attitude. She's wonderful!
Thanku girl💕💕
“Would I have liked it better if it was better? Well yeah.”

Words to live by my friend, words to live by. 👏🏼👏🏼
I listen to you Brad. You’re most likely the only reason I was able to go from dyed red to blonde af!!!! Love you!
“I want my hair to be one general color”
Brad: Don’t we all ☕️😂😂😂
Brad is literally one of the most beautiful human I’ve ever seen 🥺
Merry Christmas Brad and everyone!
Merry Christmas brad keep that hair awesome
I lightened my hair, by myself couple of weeks ago & Brad, you'd be so proud with how EVEN I got it!!! I used 30 & blondor, 20 on the ends
Ive been watching Brad day and night for the past two days and I didn’t even realize this video was new😂
“Would I like it better if it was better? Yes”.
Love it 😊😊
I bleached my hair following your tutorials and have reached platinum! And bleached my brows. Thanks Brad!!!
Going to tone later when my arms aren't so tired
I’ve never gasped at one of your videos Brad. But when the second girl turned around and showed us the back with the brown/black, I gasped so hard I choked.
Pls could you do a video on hair care tips for ppl with naturally blonde / red hair. I feel like it’s way more fragile and prone to damage.
I’ve never seen a worse fail. Even when ppls hair have fallen out I think that turned out better. Love that she posted this lol😊
Merry Christmas y’all!!
Merry Christmas to u too!! 🎉
Brads meltdown about the child proof lid was so funny, it gave me life 😂😂😂
I've been a fan of Brad's for years and just realized I click on the videos to watch drama, but end up getting educated on what not to do and how to do it right.
@@lolamurder1882 exactly! It took me a few months and I regret nothing! Patience 🙌🏻🥰❤️
"You're already setting yourself up for failure, so make it worth" : this goes to my quotation notebook ^^
Yup I always bleach bath the ends and straight up bleach the roots.
@Brad - something about your energy in this video - I love it. Here for it 100%. Am down with the mellow “real” mood ❤
@bradmondo I'd ❤️, LOVE for you to do a react vid or whatever on Catherine Middleton's hair styles over the year. She's elegant, sympathetic, and always scores an A+ from me in fashion, hair, and makeup. That'd be fun, right?
The 2nd girl had some wild hair! It just kept getting more red and so spotty
That second girl 😂 bless her heart….she has a positive outlook ❤
Shout out to the girls who walk around with orange brassy hair cause I could neverrrrr lol
brads so funny lately i love you b
If it makes u feel any better... I just did my first color correction to get the rainbow out of my kids' hair, and it actually worked because of your tips! My kid is a natural ginger, and we had previously done a literal rainbow around the head. Pretty much all the color had come out except for the green and a little purple. So I went in on only the color that was left with foils, and it came out really well for an amateur. Now I just have to do the roots, and they want mostly pink with blue underneath. Hopefully, it will come out cute.
Merry Christmas, Brad!
It’s the people who mention Brad seeing their video who always end up giving us all a jump scare.
Oh my god, I loved the little true or false bit! Teach us Brad 🙏 teach us! Giving me revision quiz from school vibes
' Joseph and the Technicolour Coat ' one way of describing the girls hair.
my jaw literally dropped right here 16:51 … I would be crying how is she so happy!? 😭
Merry Christmas to you Brad and everyone else, have a great day.
Merry Christmas Brad Mondo. Thankyou.
I can’t be only one hoping at end of bleach fails videos that there able fix it and see results for it And not be bummed out it still looks horrible 😂❤
brad is so cute, i love him ❤️. brad can you make a video on how to dye locs? i have locs and i don’t want to have patches in my head 💀.
the last girl literally like ripping her hair out with that towel on freshly bleach crispy hair hurts my soul sooo bad. also why did she think toner would suddenly make her brown and orange hair platinum💀 girl go to a salonnnn omg
I loved the last girls optimism throughout the entire process 😂
instead of “bleach fail,” this series should be called “Brad in pain watching bad bleaches”
Brad you have me in tears of laughter. The Oreo comment 🤣🤣 "I'd hate to see what atrocious looks like". That last girl made my day.
