    Honestly, your hair looks GORGEOUS now. I loved the color that the first stylist did; however, it was just blended poorly, or at least not to my liking. It seemed choppy before and now it's blended so smoothly.

    The color layering that Briza did looks amazing on you! It really fits your color too omg, and Briza was right about what kind of style Danillo's style was. It was more fashion-y. Just want to say how impressed I am about Briza's (non) reaction to receiving a non-vegan candle. Molly clearly meant well, and I loved how gracious Briza was. Not everyone knows about veganism, and mistakes happen.

      Oh, because she mentioned it was a beeswax candle. Insects are still animals, and therefore beeswax isn't vegan (much like leather). Lots of little bees get killed or get their legs and wings ripped off during handling and harvesting :(

    The word mukbang originated in South Korea, and literally translates to, “eating broadcast.” Where people would prepare a large meal and eat it in front of an audience. In Korean its 멐방 or pronounced mohkbahng.

      Eat is 먹다 but it is kinda 'modern' to emphasize the k sound. I first saw it with 미쿡 several years ago instead of 미국 for America. I do spell it 먹방 though but also despise those videos.

    The main thing that I wasn't the hugest fan of from your hair last time is how the color transition was very blunt and it didn't blend or gradually transition. But I didn't dislike it, it didn't look bad by no means! I loved the colors and the length and it was super cute. Your hair now is much more blended and the transitions are very crisp and pleasing. Both styles are pretty, but I'd say this is better! Much more of an ombré. :) you look amazing girl!

    "You wanted to be my eyes."
    Yes, 100%! I know you got some hurtful comments but I think in general your supporters were trying to protect you and be honest with you because we love you! However; I'm so sorry you ended up getting your feelings hurt in the process.
    Your hair looks so much healthier now and the color/style I think is much more of what you were wanting. I'll love to see how it keeps transforming in the future!

    • @rollingwaves1290
      @rollingwaves1290 6 лет назад +4

      Katie Johnson literally thousands of people were commenting on how bad they thought it looked and now everyone says they meant well and Molly "got her feelings hurt" as if their rudeness wasn't the cause. If people want to express their opinions on how others look, they need to learn to be nicer about it.

    • @N_A_318

      Rolling Waves: My comment on her original video was very nice and supportive, as were many others that I saw. I wouldn't let someone I care about walk around not knowing there was lettuce in their teeth - same philosophy. That's not to say there weren't some that were rude! But the majority I saw, including myself, was out of caring for her.

    Like Briza said he does more editorial hair. Some people love it, some people don't. It's just that simple. I think soooo many people went into it saying it was a messed up balyage but it wasn't, it was just a different style. It looked amazing the day it was done but clearly faded so it was harder to maintain on a day to day basis. That's really the only thing he didn't say anything about in the video. And perhaps he should have considered when doing this hair for Molly. Awful that people would attack anyone for that. It's just hair! He would never in a million years get the clients that he does if he was a bad hairdresser. You can see he has good technique. And Molly looks great both then and now. They are just different styles! :)

  • @ShamsaShakir
    @ShamsaShakir 6 лет назад +448

    that's what i was thinking. the man before (sorry i forgot his name) does hair for high fashion shows and shoots which is far from how normal hair is done. they thrive on doing not normal things so it catches attention; and he's not used to doing everyday hair.
    also i don't think hate should be sent to anyone and theres a way to convey a message or opinion without it being rude x
    Love you Molly x

      Shamsa Shakir I agree. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure they rented out a timeslot in the salon (maybe 2 hours) which probably wasn't enough time to really get the dimension/gradient she wanted

    • @XOChristianaNicole
      @XOChristianaNicole 6 лет назад +6

      No, his “technique” he used on Molly was half-assed; straight up. There are truly no other words to accurately describe it as appropriately as that does. If he’s use to high-fashion and such type of work, with super-duper, über-fancy hair- that “technique” he did would be the absolute LAST way One with such expertise would go about executing this service. His “technique” was mirroring EXACTLY as a person who had not even attended one day of cosmetology school. I mean, I’ve seen better from non-licensed people..
      Not to mention, the fact that Molly received the results she did, took him FIVE HOURS?!?! Look, I am an INCREDIBLY slow hairstylist, no matter what service I am providing. Hell! To have a multi-dimensional colour service done, with a wet/dry haircut- can take me anywhere around about 6 hours; depending on the thickness and previous damage done to One’s hair. I prefer to take that longer amount of time being: by One spending a bit more money to have a stylist spend a bit more time on their services- making sure that everything is absolutely on point, and every detail is handled- will ultimately save the client money and time in the long run. And One’ll ultimately end up saving time and money- along with having a style that will not only rock when they leave the salon, the cut and color will develop and evolve as it grows out. This will avoid having to make time for frequent, long, high-maintenanced touch-up appointments; that can break the bank, if One isn’t careful.. It reduces the amount of damage done on One’s hair, it allows for a less difficult colour-correction, if and when One decides to change their look.. And more.
      If I had spend close to THAT much time on someone and what Molly originally had was the final result- I’d would consider taking a good hard look at why I got such an awful result after spending that much time, and honestly consider what corners I decided to cut and how such a mindset will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS be more trouble than it’s worth. Best to do it right the first time, every time.
      “Everyday hair” is the foundation to high-end hair. What he was attempting to do takes skill- though, it is absolutely possible for even a novice stylist to breakdown and figure out how to effectively execute.
      And even if that was the case, that he isn’t use to “everyday hair”- then he should have never, ever accepted that he would do the gig in the first place; if it was going to be out of his comfort zone. However; listening to him talk about when he applied the overtone color- that he was wanting it to take some darker and some lighter.. BULLSHIT. That’s cosmetology language for “I was too lazy to put an undertone filler in, and now my overtone is taking unevenly in the hair I just made porous. Though, I’m just gonna say that it was intentional, so they won’t ask what’s wrong with it..” SMDH 😑 I’ve been doing hair for over a decade and worked in Hollywood- I know EXACTLY how a stylist such as him would think..

      I'm with you - the previous color was for a big reveal, this is a longer wearing look without having to see your colorist on a regular basis. Besides, Molly clearly had a blast spending time with him and having that experience. People are passionate fans but they can take their protective nature to a defense/offense place!

      Christin P. butt face girl 77 Don't lie to the girl. She herself is beautiful, stunning. But the first one was not good. It was blocky and unblended. Maybe the hairdresser was tired or something, but that was not what I nor anyone would want to leave the salon with. Even if it was for free. Lying to save feelings isn't nice and actually hurts more than the truth. It's better to be honest without being rude.

      Shi Ni'ia no, all shade intended. I’ve been a hairdresser for only a few years and that job he did looked like something I did on a mannequin in school. He fully took advantage of the fact that she can’t see and fucked up her hair and didn’t even try, id never let someone leave my chair looking like that

    • @shirayxoxo
      @shirayxoxo 6 лет назад +2

      Im not shading out of respect for molly, you should do the same if you actually listened to her talking about the situation. Yes it was bad, but one bad hair dye doesn’t necessarily define his career. You should know that being a hairdresser and all.

    • @AllieLittleMonster
      @AllieLittleMonster 6 лет назад +1

      Shi Ni'ia we all make mistakes but that was not a mistake. Taking advantage of someone who can’t see is probably the most fucked thing to do in this industry. Just like I wouldn’t fuck up a little kid or elderly woman’s hair. In the industry if you make a mistake you need to own up to it and fix it before allowing someone to leave your chair. I’ve had my moments but I ALWAYS am upfront with my clients and let them know, hey I came across a challenge please allow me to fix it for you for free either now if you have time or as soon as you’d like. I would never sit there and be so unprofessional to lie straight to her about your clearly shitty work. Also as a hairdresser you can tell he was being completely lazy and not trying at all. I don’t expect someone who doesn’t know hair to get it but as a professional I could tell by watching he knew what he was doing and wasn’t trying whatsoever , what he was doing made zero sense and there’s no excusing

    • @shirayxoxo
      @shirayxoxo 6 лет назад +1

      I actually do hair, i mean if you knew me you’d know that but you don’t. I agree he should have fixed it after the backlash but I honestly dont think he meant to purposely take advantage of her. He is a older stylist and the techniques he used kinda reflects on that. Not saying they are good technics at all they weren’t for the type of style she asked for. But i think he thought he did a good job in the moment. You really dont know what his intentions were so flat out saying he did it on purpose is kinda slandering him and you really aren’t respecting Mollys wishes, she clearly says dont blame him and that she didnt hate it herself at the end of the day it is her hair. If she says don’t throw hate maybe you should respect that decision? You’re clearly more angered by it then Molly is herself, take some tips from her about letting it go & rewatch the video at 11:00

    Girl this looks sooooo much better!! I think your hair needs a lot of work to get to the point that it should have been in the first place, but that´s just the way it is. Briza was super smart in letting you know and saying it openly in the vid that this is not at all a finished look. Dyed and bleached hair is hard to fix and it takes time especially if you don´t want all to dry out and die all together. I know what it´s like to have a stylist (though unintentionally) ruin your hair. I´ve had bright red hair for about 10 years now and GURL HAVE I BEEN THERE. Just know that it looks SO MUCH BETTER now and it´ll eventually look flawless with a little love and help from Briza.
    PS: You should have Brad do your hair soon too! I reckon a lilac umbre would look gorgeous on you.

      Ana Lucía de Hoyos Márquez girl my hair has been red for about the same amount of time and the one time I decided to go back to blonde all hell broke lose and I had to chop it off (almost all of it) never again. I can’t have a normal color it’s too boring to me and doesn’t fit my personality!! But love the red! Not many people can pull it off!!!!

    • @analikestea
      @analikestea 6 лет назад

      SAME! I tried to go for a darker red so I could transition back to brown at one point but I was so bored so quickly I went back to my beloved red. • @sunstripe85
    @sunstripe85 6 лет назад +170

    This looks beautiful Molly! I think this is what we all assumed you were going for the first time. It looks much more natural, with your hair transitioning much more gently between the colors. I'm guessing the first guy, who I actually really liked while watching him on the video, was just a little bit more used to doing avant garde type things. And for some people they probably would have wanted that but I'm not sure if that's what you were going for right now in your life.
    Brisa did a great job! You both said you're not done yet and I could definitely see how if you wanted more rose gold you will need to do more tones and all of that overtime but right now it looks like something somebody would have specifically gone in for their end product so I think it looks really good.
    It should achieve what you were hoping for very well with a transition in a ponytail as well. The color goes all the way up to your scalp in some places and in other places starts further down your head. The combination gives you a lot of depth particularly when your hair is slightly curly as she had it styled. In that hairstyle it looked especially beautiful. But I have a feeling with this type of transitional color it will also look much more natural even with your hair not styled, whereas before it was clear it was a very bold color dyeing choice when your hair was not done up.
    I feel bad for that guy because of anyone who gave him hate. I really did like him as a person so I hope it didn't upset him too much. I know people meant well but I agree with you that hate comments and bullying are not the answer no matter how upset you are

    It is sad and inappropriate if people were being rude or mean to Danillo, but I can understand where they were coming from to a point. What he did was not particularly blended and was basically the top half untouched and the bottom just turned a pink shade. It looked like old hair colour just half grown out. However people could have expressed their feelings in a kinder way, and going to Danillo’s page was just straight up well out of order. That all being said The revamped hair is looking lovely, and I am glad that the colour is more even through-out the length of your hair. Where ever you decide to go with it next, I’m sure will be gorgeous! It is a shame about the timing for trying to work with Brad, and I have no comment on Guy, sure he has a reason or two that maybe he’ll share one day. Sure it is down to something simple . Anyhow, hair looking lovely, and Briza did a Brilliant job!!! 😉👍🏻💇

      Siobhan Kirby I totally agree with you. I think that it really bothered people that he didn't use safety measures to bleach her hair too (he didn't use gloves, he did it bare handed) and that made him look "amateurish" and it's dangerous too.

      I'm glad you are being mindful of Molly and how she is treated that is very considerate. However, it was not what she wanted. She asked people to handle it differently. It is her channel, and it is her hair on her head so she should decide the tone of how things are said on her channel and in the video's she posts. Treating someone that harshly when asked not to by channels provider is just (and I'll repeat myself) WELL out of order.

    • @TheSiobhan12
      @TheSiobhan12 6 лет назад

      Agreed more safety measures could have been taken, certain that could be said in many video's on youtube (LOL) but I refuse to believe he intentionally tried to ruin Molly's hair. I think it was just an idea he that did not come out as planned in the end. Sure Danillo and Molly have spoken since, and apologies were made if that was even needed by Molly. :)
