Mentor set + 2 spears = OP
A fun build that I am enjoying at the moment is Thegn's Armor with Suttungr's Claw and Briton Shield. Parries heal you for 15% from the shield the dagger increases crit damage after each hit stacks up to 10 times
I wish there was some some of electrical damage like poison damage. That Hammer looks like a better Mjolnir than the one in the game lol

I like how we can respec at any time. For you, you can change specs to be able to show of different items. Best assassin combo for lone wolf build.
That really makes this game really fun, being able to change play styles any time is awesome.
Hunter Crotts exactly change things when doing different types of missions is cool
Funny you post this because that’s what I’ve been doing! I’ve found for me personally the best looking combo in game for all mythical armor is Thegns cloak and bracers with mentors trousers and mask (hidden) but with the magister chest. You get the set bonus from mentors and thegns but the magister lends to the assassin look so well with all the gold/bronze accents throughout the pieces tying in nicely without looking like a hulking knight on a tightrope.

A soldier flail and heavy shield (round spike with some fur on it) is best combo.
A can destroy many heavy opponents with simple dodge-block. Or additionally charge in with evasion button and swing with flail. It has a perk of increasing speed.
2 spear are also nice. However, u can't get 2nd nice spear early in the game

I spent 4 hours getting all this just so I can get thors armor and beat the bosses and I am exhausted
currently running brigadine armor with blacksmith hammer and blodwulf shield for the ignite on parry and every fire skill i can in the tree
I love the wolf ability, makes bosses so easy.

I've kind of stopped parrying after I've required the skill that slows things down after dodging. Nice build tho...also rocking a two handed sword with the blacksmith hammer. I'll try the spear next.

Using full Thegn’s armor with Sepulchre Axe and either Sutur’s Sword or Spear of Leonidas. Having a blast!
For spear and hammer combo i would suggest gungnir, Odin's spear, and mjolnir, Thor's hammer.
Really good run and gun build:
Hidden ones mask- For the mobility
Thor cloak
Thor armor
(You get the stun ability)
High armor
Raven clan breeches
Raven clan bracers
(You get more armor when you are low health)
High speed
Raven clan shield-light attack increase when blocking+speed when blocking rune
Gungnir-best range+stun runes
Arc of elan bow with crit runes(ability damage+ when you hit an enemy)
Blinding rush level 2
Focus of the nornir level two

I think the best predetor now in the game is the needled cause if u hit a headshot without being seen a sleep has thing happens just like having the thorn of slumber at level 2 this can be found in the merchant places across England
I recognize the clips for the thegns set you made a video a little while back and that's where these clips are from
Maybe a build focus on hunters bow, should be great for those people like myself that really enjoy playing with the arrows
Hunter gear for the 20m damage boost or Magister for the range damage are great.
As for abilities, you got soooo many great ones for bow.

How about the new Carolingian set you can get for free from the Amazon Prime Twitch promo? The set looks to be among the best ones, and you also get a really good spear and a shield... And it looks less royal, which is my main issue with Thegn's set.
Yah it's my fav. I like thegn becuase the look but the Carolingian set just has that oooompf you want on armour for tankyness
Free? Its not free. If i want that armour I have to get Twitch Prime. I dont pay for that now.
If something is being given along side something its not free. If its free anyone can get it. It's merely incentive to get twitch prime or a thank you from getting it depends how you look at it. But free it is not.

Mentors armor is great but the other armor has way to many limitations making it useless. Might as well pair mentors with Brigidine armor for added armor when surrounded. You still get plenty of damage from mentors and you can still do high damage when striking NPC’s in back and on the ground as well.
Thats what using 3 mentors 2 brigadine

Can you eventually upgrade all weapons and armor? Or just 1 / 2 sets and some weapons?
For the mentor's mask. Just go into stealth and walk right behind the guy. I did this, grabbed the chest, and walk right back out. Approach from the boulder right behind the hut.
Do-able as power 50, maybe power 45, but I did it as power 50 - use the hapoons inside the hideout in snotinghamscire, then you can get the key.
what's the best order to pick up the items so I don't have to run back and forth around the map?
I'd like to play again, too. But since yesterday afternoon i have frequent game crashes that send me to desktop or freeze the game while sound is still running... I had some crashes before but way less frequent... 55h playtime and this shit happens...

I stopped playing ac games on pc because there are always problems coming with them. The game freezes when the controller disconnects, crashes to desktop and so on. The graphics quality is superior on pc, but with the new consoles it's the perfect alternative. Console is the way to go with ac games, never had any problems so far
Whilst looking for the pieces for this armor set and weapons i actually found the flawless lagertha Axe is it any good? Currently i use the mythical bayonet sword and alresdy the lagertha has more damage and flawless which should i use,?

I'm loving the blacksmith hammer and am currently using a great sword with it. Trying to make a build centered around what is best with the hammer. Currently using my max enhanced rave clan armor. I went to Winchester area early and got the resources to enhance a lot.

TagBackTV, Hi. Want to ask. Is there a way to build up adrenaline charges before any fight so that I can use the abilities immediately. I know eating those mushrooms do that; but is there another way like perhaps a passive skill or passive 'thing' in a weapon you're wielding?
When you kill/hit enemies you build up adrenaline but if you get hit without filling up the adrenaline bar it becomes empty but if you fill the bar and get hit your good you don't lose it

Ive been loving the 2 hand axe and 2 hand sword combo....lopping off their legs is so satisfying....I call it gettin stumped!

As soon as you can buy Skadi's Wrath (light bow), get the two skill books for Focus of the Nornir, and then get all four ability slots from your skill tree.... you can easily get the Excalibur. Heavy finishers and Crits. blind all enemies around you. And you can't get that spear until end game, so....

Here a tip I found for break open though door use the dive of v ver 2 work every time
Full Thegn's Set with Thegn rune, weapons Excalibur and Scimitar both with a + Crit Chance per Hit special rune and 2 greater speed runes on the others (Scimitar is the weapon for this week in Reda's). On the rest of the set I use greater armor runes on cloak and helm, greater HP on chest, and bracers and pants greater - weight runes. That's the build I'm using, and it's kind of broken. You parry once and goodbye everyone around you. You're like an unstoppable dual wielding maniac !
The fallen hero’s armour is very good if you have the full set

Btw 5/5 thegn armor give 20 critical damage bonus while 2/5 mentor gives u only 15

Same with bow headshots (critical damage bonus outweights 5/5 headshot damage bonus on assassin's armored 5/5 set)
Plus by u can focus on bear and wolf skills and use only wolf and bear gear to maximize effect
Thegn is almost as good as brigantine armor, but perks look more useful, and it's slightly lighter, which give u 4 evasion steps with light bow / hunter bow and heavy shield and flail. (And rune weight upgrade)
I use the maxed out armour thats int he vid maxed out deatj skald (bow) and maxed out odins spear and maxed out black Smith hamer
Next time just get all the pieces that are next to each other first! This took way longer than it should have.... great tips though!
both weapon need the same range (Speer/Speer) or (Hammer/Hammer) is much better as a mix. I play dual hammer with the Draugr Armor Set. The set boost stuntime and weaponspeed (good for the blacksmith-hammer) and a poisonproc from the other hammer boost attack for both weapons.
Don’t know, man, I really like hammer + spear combo. If I need longer reach, spear goes to the main hand, otherwise hammer is the primary weapon. Off hand spear attack is pretty cool, so it’s a win-win for me.
Don't you have to have all 5 pieces of the same group of armor for the buffs, like in Odyssey?
You only need 2 or 3 to get the first buff for an armor
2 for lesser effect
Full for all effect
I don’t think ppl know that the way of the raven/wolf/bear nodes in the tree affect weapons also so maybe do a vid on that

The rarity doesn’t matter but the stats increase the higher the rarity

Full set of Thegn armour, Blacksmith hammer and Gungir early game Mwah, btw for those who don't know you can get Odins spear right after you leave Norway and build your settlement, you can go back and glitch to Odins spear or Gungir, why get it late game when you can get it early
I personally like the sword, shield combo... specifically Carolingian sword with raven clan shield
Nah with me i play fafnir spear with the briton shield. The spear is faster than a sword and has a longer distance.
@@saifm1117 true, but the sword has a greater AOE and the stats on the sword are better in my opinion, cause its a passive trait, you dont need a specific thing to power it.
I would've thought excalibur mijlornir and gungnier were the best In the game due to the stun mijlornir has and the stun of gungnir and the damage and blind effect excalibur has

No not really because they is literally arrow everywhere in the game. Even in your home base.
Idk if this is a skill I unlocked but while I was doing an assault for the main story I finished an enemy and took his spear and I was already using a spear so I had dual spears for a short time has anyone else had this happend to them
I know I'm late, but do you know if mixing these sets give you both "way of the bear and raven skills", just one of them or none?
If they did give you both, wouldn't it be better to use 2 thegn, 2 mentor and 1 random wolf to get all 3 ways bonuses, would it?
You can mix only 2 sets, because perks require 2 set-parts each and you have 5 parts of armour in total, but yeah, I mix and matched 2 sets that I bought from the store during a Ubi sale. The High Elf (great for bows) & the Eirherjar for group melee. That said, the new set Fallen Hero is fantastic and you can get it from caves/puzzles where there's no enemy at all, so if I'd replay, I would get that one straight away.

You have to take a special abilities
You can make any armor or weapon look like any other piece if you want a more coherent look.
also why does your "build" not include runes? With the rune copier in your village there is so much customisation it's insane
