Met Kevin in your Fullerton office and was telling me you were out and just wanted to say that your design is definitely way better than other companies been in the companies for decades. the minor detail really makes the design looks really good plus the quality of your product defnitely made my jaw DROP wish i can afford the F82 M4 wing but its definitely in my list.
#DavisLee, it is very apparent in the final products of #ADRO there is a designer whom cares about aesthetics, including #BMWM3. Thanks, M-> #e46DinanTouringXdrive->
I love this series! I am a junior product designer in Malaysia. I have always love cars, thats what get me into industrial design. I would like to see a video of sketching technique, the design thinking to engage aesthetic to engineering pov, what it takes/ what to consider while designing a car
911 is a 60s design, and the 60s was the best decade for car design - so many elegant vehicles came out of that decade, from all of automakers. All Porsche had to do was not change it (much). It's really the first "retro" car, but it just never went out of production.
I like your presentation. It was simple, straight forward and easy to grasp. I agree with your two perspectives that make the Porsche 911 such a beautiful & sexiest car, Proportion and Posture. You are so right. I am a classic car enthusiast and my top three favourite classics are Ferrari, Mercedes, Porsche. I recently acquired a 1986 Mercedes Benz 560SEC. I know the lines of this car attract me very much but I cannot articulate precisely WHY I like this car so much. Having worked for Mercedes Benz and if you like the 1980's SEC, I wonder if you can break down what the attraction of this car is. To give you a perspective of me, see below my favourite designs. I like the Mercedes Benz W198 300 SL ROADSTER, W113 Pagoda, W108 Coupé and Sedan, I also like the 1951 to 1955 W188 300S & SC. I have a W108 280SE. My favourite Porsches are 1996 to 1989 911 Carrera 3.2 and the 1948 to 1965 356. My all time favourite Ferraris are the 1957 to 1963 250 GT California Spyder (Short & Long chassis) and 1962 to 1964 250 GTO.
Please tell me if what you have said about the 911 also applies to the mid engined GT4RS. It seems to me that it pretty much does. Also is the design of the 911 &/or the GT4RS somehow making use of the golden ratio (0.618)
I have a 2001 911 with the aerokit so it looks exactly like the original GT3. I think it is the most beautiful sports car design with the flying taco wing. Would love to hear your thoughts on this design.
Congrats on a very enjoyable video Davis Lee. Do you think the Ford Mustang has a recognisable 'proportion' or profile? Or did the brand stray too much from its original genesis and hence only has styling elements that are unique? I.e. tri bar tail lights, etc

What cad software do you use and what are you guys looking for when hiring designers
Try to make video on full demonstration of digital rendering process.

The s2000 seems to have aged really well. Is there a reason other than its simplicity?
