I love that they stick to the traditional roots, they don’t try to change anything, and that’s what makes a performance machine attractive, the fact that it’s got long generational DNA.
I work for Porsche and around 911s etc all the time. Ur attention to detail is amazing and pointed out things I never noticed, great video (and great taste)
Technical I love the 993 too... but from design the 964, I love more ❣️😅 The best is the RUF Tribute. It looks like a 964, but has a full carbon chassis with pushrod suspension and power like a hypercar 😊
Big challenge, the 911 stands on the shoulders of one of the first modern sports car designs back in the 1940s. But there is another car that brought that modern sports car style even earlier but only ever got 1 generation. Do you think you could visualize an evolution of it as if it survived and evolved along side the 911. Im talking about the gorgeous Cisitalia 202.
The 991 is a good balance between classy and modern. The 992 for me, is just a bit more modern/futuristic. The rear especially looks futuristic. Personally like more classy designs.
The 991 front-end is arguably the most elegant and at the same time aggressive one in the history of 911. For the rear I kinda prefer the 997 but I'd take the 992 rear lightbar...
The video make me appreciate Porsche’s designers work more when it comes to exterior and see their designs as less redundant. I’d like to see a similar video from you on the e class or s class.
I have a 991.1 2014 911 and my friend just bought a new 2024 Targa 911 and after driving both cars I love my 991.1 as a new 911s just have become a sophisticated sports car…… although very exciting, I think the earlier 911’s are much more enjoyable to drive.
I love the new 911 S/T so much ❣️👌🏼 It's the best 911 ever IMO... yeah, it's the birthday present from Porsche, because 60 year's of 911😅 The only thing what's sad, is the limitation to 1963 pieces. Why Porsche don't bring such a car not as normal model ❔ So only can VIP buy one 😢 It's the same like Ferrari does it. Ok, for me isn't important, because I don't have the money for a Porsche... but I don't like these politics. Congratulations to all 1963 lucky owners what can drive these dreams 😂 Love from Berlin 🇩🇪 Ramsi 🙋🏻♂️
It's easy to accuse Porsche designers of being the laziest in the industry, but when you achieve perfection on the 1st try, there's little to be done to keep it current. Love Porsche. PS Duck tail looks good but whale tail is better imo.
Beautiful it may be, but I personally think the 911 has simply grown too big. Just look at the rear view of both cars in your thumbnail, the 992 is absolutely gianormous compared to the original 901. Not only that, its rump has grown too voluminous, the headlight "cannons" have become less pronounced and the windscreen has been raked too far back. Yes, an upright windscreen, like that on a Saab 900, is a defining feature of the 911. Perfection I think was reached with Tony Hatter's 993. But Porsche wouldn't sell many cars if it froze the shape after the 993, would it?
I'm sorry, but you made a mistake. You called the 964 Porsche 911, the 993. Also, the second 911 you shown was a facelift of the 1st gen. Not the second gen, which is the 964.
Please pay attention to your 911 history. The body shell is unchanged between 1963 and 1990. The F G and 964 are basically the same. Main changes are mechanical. You also talk about the 993 while looking at the 964. Sloppy.
Hate to be that guy but the S/T isn't in the body of a 992 touring. The 992 GT3 and all GT3 models are on the carerra body. The GT3 RS and 911 S/T is in the turbo body. Not the carerra body
You're wrong too, GT3 has its own body so does GT3 RS. Turbo is completely separate too. Sport Classic is the only one heavily based on Turbo. But yeah, S/T doesn't have a Touring body too.
4:57 that's a 964 actually
Yeah he missed the 993 and 997
I love that they stick to the traditional roots, they don’t try to change anything, and that’s what makes a performance machine attractive, the fact that it’s got long generational DNA.
I love the sketchmonkey channel and tbh I want the sketchvids back!
It would be a cool video to Photoshop the original 911 and stretch and modify it to match the current generation.
I work for Porsche and around 911s etc all the time. Ur attention to detail is amazing and pointed out things I never noticed, great video (and great taste)
For me, the 993 is my favorite generation. Just the perfect size and bridge between the classics and the larger modern models.
Technical I love the 993 too... but from design the 964, I love more ❣️😅
The best is the RUF Tribute.
It looks like a 964, but has a full carbon chassis with pushrod suspension and power like a hypercar 😊
Skipped 997 and 993. The 993 stated is the 964
nice work Bembli, I like the presentation
You skipped the 997, the best looking 911 ever
and 993
please make a video about aston martin valkyrie, one of the best design in cars history imo

Will you do a video on the Mazda Iconic SP concept?
Yeah I'm surprised he still hasn't even done a video on it yet
The Porsche 992 is the most beautiful Porsche of all time and the 997 in the second place. Great video as always!
incorrect buzz, its the other way around
My favorite is the Turbo 3.3 930 personally
@@MaggiS0ysauce well everyone has their own opinion.
@@generic9777 yeah that's sweet
im glad to see the background is back on you videos

When’s the mazda concept video coming?
I hope they bring the rump and taillight lower for a better squat than boxy

4:55 this is not 993 :)
The most beautiful modern 911 to me is the 992 911 Sport Classic. In terms of the older cars i love the 993 Turbo! So pretty
The only other car I can think of which kept it's identify soo well is the Golf, but there's probably more.
Tatra walked so Porsche could run
993 is the last classic design

Missed 997 gen in the side profile comparison… great vid nonetheless

The newer ones are way too big imo.
4:00 - 997 is missing
So is the 993

Being huge 911 fan, I don't like modern 911s anymore. They are too big.
You shouldn’t talk about design if you can’t tell the difference between a 964 and a 993. 🤷♂️
I like the 991 and even the 997 better than the new one. I think the rear looks so ugly.
@MisoRobotics 🤝 @McDonald's
1964
It‘s bad
Sorry, but manual transmissions are obsolete. Still held-over purely for sentimental reasons. Like vinyl records.
new ones way too big, 993 the last good one. mom cars now, tragic
I will not buy that. I will wait the S or RS or GTS version, which will be available soon. Something like next week...
