@@LeemWills You take a look again and see that foggy look especially in bright light, thats fingerprints on the lens! ;) Otherwise the picture is sharp and fine.
I think it's company based. Some advise to turn it off in the last manual phase of the flight so the pilot doesn't look at the ILS indicators, which become quite sensitive at the very end, and doesn't chase the indicator at all cost. Reminder to look outside.
@@CaptAviator So it is inverted. Because to turn OFF, you put it DOWN. And to turn ON, you put it UP. At least here (south america), the A320 is configured in this style, not Boeing style.
@@CH-nb9yy Yeap. I worked with A320/A330 family for 11 years before moving to B777 and, despite knowing that every part of the airplane is customizable, i have never seen in all these years this kind of customization. In boeing planes, it is normal to turn ON putting the button to DOWN (landing light, taxi and turn off, strobe and taxi camera light, Boeing 777, for example). But NOT in airbus family.
despite that they turned on the lights exiting the runway..the checklist was incomplete.. the captain was pilot flying and pilot monitoring at the same time ( PM do the after landing procedures) ...it was a butter landing..
Those dudes were so dumb they have to read the guide to know what to do. Fortunately the autorobot did the work or the jetplane would have crashed and burned killing all the bbabies.
Only the PF and PM are subjected to sterile cockpit. The jump seater is being quiet and allowing them to do their job which really doesn't interfere. However, I would bet that the airline's SOPs have a policy on videoing in the flight deck.
Butter landing
Long taxi from there but welcome to DFW
Beautiful. Truly amazing landing
Nice landing
Très très sympa comme vidéo. Merci.

Nice vid! But dude, remember to clean your lens before filming!
I don't see nothing wrong with the lens , maybe it's your phone

4032T is A319-115 and how you film on American!?
great landing !! btw do you remember at what altitude was the ceiling ?
Did they know you were filming?
Is there any rule to turn off FDs after landing? Sop doesn’t mention about this
I mean, does it make sense to still have it on?
@@ian9988 well of youre on transit, then why switch it off, you will need it again?

It used to be SOP many years ago.
The ECAM landing checklist is not completed. Signs..... On😅
this would be indicative of a flight without passengers
Noticed that too, maybe it had no passengers since he totally buttered the runway
I am missing it
why setting 10 000 ft while getting off runway ? @6:10
Initial altitude out of DFW for departures is 10,000
Did you guys notice that the landing light (and taxi light) was turned ON only after landing?
No, that was him turning it off.

Yeah, that's weird, what the heck? He turned on the landing lights, taxi lights, runway turn off lights, and strobe lights after the landing roll loll

@@renatoroberto Yeah, and also I don't think you would turn landing lights and strobe off while still on the active runway?
Great video but Ecam memo landing : Blue
Can’t recall which lien that is. Might just be signs which might be due to airline policy.
Yes, it's signs my dude. Maybe it's because there weren't passengers in this flight.

Depends on company SOP, plus the skipper can tune them off if he pleases. But I agree it looked a little unnecessary.

Why the ECAM Memo wasn't in LDG No Blue?
How you film American cockpit despite sterile rule by FAA?
Note N4032T is actually A319
sterile cockpit rule is no unnecessary communications/talking below 10,000, nothing about a jumpseat passenger video taping

@@MD88Pilot Yep, it's why we don't commonly see cockpit videos being filmed in the US compared to Europe.
wonderful video
Very nice, beautifully executed
this is a great video thank you so much!
Sooooooo Slowly (125KNoT's) Boring A320.
I'm missing checklists and clear callouts. Apart from that, very good landing!
captain shouldnt be touchin anything until clear of runway

@@Silent-ji6bc 5:59.....hes pushing buttons and playing with the lights. nothing should be touched until clear of the runway.
yeah.. actually i think that PM should have done that...
autothrottle is a wonderful thing
