Beat Haldimann is my favorite watchmaker. Glad to see a video about his brilliant work. His H2 (Flying Resonance) is, in my view, the greatest watch ever made!
Really interesting insight once again. I appreciate all the background info and images included. His tourbillons look absolutely insane.
He really is a tourbillon master, he has allot of respect among watchmakers
thank you. I am so glad watchmakers like this exist.
Thank you for showing us this watchmaker and for sharing.
I love your content, great looking watch.
Stunning watch from such a nice small company
Thx. Very interesting. One don’t see it often on a wrist. Very nice and very subtle.
This is one of the best time-only watches in my opinion, but the recent price increase is too crazy...
Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to the next review of some more amazing indies :-)
Fantastic video, Steve. Thanks for showing this to us!
Great review! Thanks for bringing this to us!
Thank you.....beautiful timepiece ❤️
A dress watch with grail potential...just beautiful.
Nice !! Thank You !!
Very cool
Looks great but agree with previous comments re crazy price increases over last couple of years!
He thought he could make them at one price and it proved to be impossible. There are only maybe 2 watches in the world that are comparable at all and both are many multiples of the price. I think it's a screaming bargain. You think he increased so he could buy a new Ferrari?
TickTocking not saying it’s not worth it, it is just a massive increase from pricing 3yrs ago. This would easily have been covered by a company release explaining the increase and reinforcing the value proposition. I reinforced the point but at the same time I’m personally interested in making a purchase😁
TickTocking however, you raise an interesting point, , what does he drive now compared to 2yrs ago?
Philipe Dufour is another like that, I'm pretty sure he manufactures all his components with manual machines. Beautifully made watch by an obviously skilled craftsman, but a bit plain for my tastes. He has made some very art sculptural watches that are interesting, bit like Thomas Prescher.
PD is great, but he does not even manufacture most of the components, let alone in this manner
@@TickTocking I wasn't aware of that, highly respected though. If you like Haldimann you might like the work by a Japanese watchmaker called Masahiro Kikuno, who eschews modern manufacturing techniques and tries to recreate the older crafts. He's made some interesting pieces.
Fantastic watch but why didn't you bring the price while it is a handmade watch? Well in Japan they have some individual brands handmade watches. They are awesome but crazy expensive at the same time.
What’s the power reserve time? Definitely a go to watch!
I’m in love 😍
This is nothing, but the Haldimann H1 is the best watch ever.
What’s the power reserve of this watch?
