- You guys know how much I love Kari Voutilainen. Every one of his watches is a masterpiece, but this one is on another level! You've got to see the retrograde calendar mechanism in action

The best Voutilainen I have ever seen. I might be the only one, but I think the lugs on this watch are a great improvement over his usual teardrop lugs. I also love your new camera work, the macro shots are sooo much better now👍
That retrograde date is amazing.
Fantastic video, fantastic x1000 watch. One of the best KV I've ever seen. Really enjoy the subtle changes to your presentation with the quick-hit info subtitles.
This may be one of my favorite watches from Kari. Perfectly balanced in texture, color and shape.
Great video Steve. -Keep me coming...a beautiful piece indeed...the blue hands against that dial...its next level to say the least!
Kari always with incredible pieces, thanks for the video!
Always enjoy your videos , even though I I can afford the Watches
Fascinating Steve
Thank you for sharing
The watch looks amazing! Hey not to be that guy. The last names are spelled different in the description and title!
The new lugs look really good...
Though I still prefer his iconic tear-drop lugs, this is no doubt a magnificent watch.
Simply stunning!! ❤️
Gorgeous watch. If I had to have just two watches for the rest of my life it would be this and an F.p journe Chronometer Optimum in platinum.
The date pointer is not centered on the dot or number.
incredibly beautiful
So modest that he did away with the V's in the numerals!
Where do you get money for these??
Hey Steve..... what size is your wrist so I can gauge the watch on the arm a bit better? Thanks!
Maybe I’m just tired but the numerals look strange. It is still a beautiful piece from one of my favorite 3 watch creators.
The problem with choosing this watch over the standard Vingt 8 is that they charge an additional $50,000 just to have the retrograde date which is nothing more than a party trick because you’ll never be up at midnight on the last day of the month to see it. The date also clutters up the dial compared to the clean look of the standard watch.
That retrograde date hand comes from 31-1 slowly is worth paying extra 50k no other watch brand has done that if iam not wrong
Whan an engineering piece of marvel
Sometimes I wish I wouldn’t look at the micro shots because you can’t unsee the imperfections.
💚
Is the sapphire damaged or is it just not clean? I guess you would advise to have changed by a Kari AD if damaged?
hello if you have access to any watch in the world please review the richard mille rm62-01 i am Speechless with this watch
Good grief! IIX is NOT a Roman numeral. What's wrong with VIII?
X minus II equals 8. It adds up right.
It was probably done for artistic symmetry, so only X and I appear on the dial. Artistic license, but strictly IIX is not a valid Roman numeral as you can't subtract twice. It bothers me the more I look at it and I can only see 12 and 11 (XII and XI) where 8 and 9 should be. Still a stunning watch.
Clifford knows nothing about Roman numerals on watch dials and why they do what they do.
Well I sure know that IV is not Roman and should be IIII. And IX is not Roman and should be VIIII. They may be anachronistic notations, and we accept the modern values, but that is a mere convenience, as "any fule kno".
@@richardr2555 But that's not the point. The Romans didn't do that, and I would argue, neither should we.
It could be 44 mm
I wonder what Jeff Bezos wears on his wrist. Evidently, he’s super intelligent, so I bet he has something like this. Or maybe this!
Can't Afford
OMG that date display.... HGHGHGHhhhhhghHHHHHGggghh
