- Regardless of what this video shows, just know that I truly think camera brands don’t matter. My first camera ever was a Nikon, I’ve used Canon, now I’m using Sony; and yesterday I was using a Nikon lens on my Sony body. There’s no doubt about it some camera models have better features or specs than others but none of that matters if “you” the person operating the camera, has no clue what their doing. The only thing stopping you from getting amazing photos is you. The best advice I could give, if you feel your not getting results with your camera; is to study and learn lighting, the exposure triangle, shooting in manual, and how different lenses affect your image.
Yesterday’s creative networking event was so much fun. I’m so glad everyone enjoyed it and was able to make it out. Thank you Raya Studios Toronto for letting us use such a beautiful space 🤩 We will have many more in the future!

@@bngr_bngr this clip only compare which gear is the best not the photograpy in general. Photography is a big topic that involve many areas. You have ypur vision when taking photo, but you don't know your equipment, lighting, composition and post processing well, your photo is suck.

I have happily used a 24 MP Sony NEX7 for 17 years with great results . In its day the most compact prof’ level mirrorless digital. It’s still fantastic and so small with a 16 to 55 mm lens . Great viewfinder and fits in a jacket pocket.
nikon d750 is great.. not mirrorless... should upgrade to z6 ii
I mean thats a big jump, if he wants to stay in the DSLRs i would chose a d780 or d850
I own a D750 and although I think it can be better with AF (The square makes me focus on eyebrows sometimes and not on eye, makes me mad), ISO and maybe burst photo speed, I think it is an amazing camera capable of surviving harsh conditions, and still do great.
With a 24-70 2,8 it is maybe a bit heavy for me when I'm hiking.
Why should I upgrade and to which camera, if and when I feel like upgrading ?
I stopped looking at the market after I bought it so I'm quite lost with all the options now 😂

Yea there were probably other artists and friends that he had that did. We just don't know because they didn't have social media.... 🤦🏼♂️
they did lol, as a fine arts and photography major I can tell you a silimar brand and the actual brand, he used Royal talens and Royal&Langnickle. god teir paint brushes are made from hogs hair and are very soft, they don't hold paint/ absorbe paint. Also Van goh used the same brushes very fancy..

@@CocoKoi321 The best photographs are made with a care, experience, and luck. Pretty much regardless of subject, you can get great results if you shoot purposefully as if every frame is something to be marveled at. And you simply won't be paying attention to each frame (or any frame for that matter) if you're bursting out several frames per second.

Sad not to see Fuji represented. I shot pro Canon for years. Switched to Fuji about 5 years ago. I shoot corporate events, A LOT of headshots. And classic portraiture. Images always look fantastic. For today's "end usage"...web sites/computer screen, cell phone, etc., FF expensive cameras are not needed as much.

Oh i will never forget that anthony, who says a real photographer doesn't used sony, since then I'm off with himm. It is given that we have a different preference for anything we do, i just think that is not right to say anything like that just because he's a canon user🙂
It sounds like you missed the point of that video. Instead of jumping to conclusions if you had taken the time to check my list of recommended cameras (which is linked in all of my long form videos) or simply watch to the end of that very same video you would know the truth and would have heard me say: "all the camera brands are good".

i had so many cameras in the past 15 years... but not once i had a Canon... you might ask why. Simple: their Sensors were just worse than Nikons in the DSLR days. Started out with a Nikon APSC DSLR. When i went Full Frame for the first time it was a battle between the Nikon D750 and the 5D MkIII. I saw a video here on YT that showed how much you can raise the shadows in post... And the Canon got completely destroyed, it wasnt even funny... from that day it was Nikon all the way until Sony released their A7 III, and in between i had 3 Olympus bodies for travel & family stuff. And where did this bring me to? Thats right! Fuji! Rocking 2 X-H2 Bodies now and not looking back...

A good musician can make Anything sound good. However that isn’t what I said. I said lesser instrument. A few professional photographers I know still use older model DSLR- and they weren’t the top of the line. They have a gift for composing and taking great photographs. I saw Paul Gilbert grab a low end guitar off the wall at a music shop and proceed to blow everyone away. Of course better gear is great. But in the hands of a novice it won’t make them great. A $10,000.00 guitar in the hands of a beginner is useless to their ability to make music.

Back to the topic: you can't seem to grasp that's A DIFFERENT CONVERSATION. When beginners are still learning, they are told to not concentrate on gear. This is so they don't get distracted from fundamentals. You're watching a video full of working photographers. They know the fundamentals. They've learned them. Now they chose gear that works for their needs.

In my personal opinion I always found Sony to be a tad sharper when it comes to video, that's the reason why i switched but that could also be my eyes playing tricks lol. Lens options and the opportunity to use third party lenses is the biggest one!
