No one can deny that your train setups look so awesome. You cross every "T "and dot every "I". What a fun addiction you have. I do a Christmas village every year that is 20 ft long and 5 ft wide and run a little Polar Express train on it. So I'm drawn to your channel Eric. TFS
Your method is thoughtful, I ballasted my layout with your method and worked great, but I also learned that when applying the glue mix on larger areas it is easier to use a garden pump sprayer that only requires to keep the trigger pressed instead of the regular spray bottle that requires to pump constantly which can be very tiering I've been meaning to ask you, I can see that you are prototypically oriented and run mostly mth engines, so why did you choose atlas track instead of scale trax?
I did the exact same processbut when using o27 I found that leaving the glue and the isopropyl alcohol to dry caused some of the track to corrode which what I've tried to do at least is use the Lionel track cleaning kit eraser. Should this hinder the performance?
i have beed onn the railroad for 30 somerhing year . so lets make it look real dump the siuff Like CSX does dump it and let it be . wet it glue and run trains

@santiagop23 I chose Atlas because at the time it was more readily available than ScaleTrax and no dealers around me stocked ScaleTrax.

Do you think the isopropyl alcohol works with coarse ballast from Woodland Scenics? I'm gonna start glueing the ballast onto my track soon.
I really don't know. I'd probably have at least tried it. I'm pretty happy with Atlas though.
do yo have to glue the ballest down?

how much does the wetting agent cost?
It's just isopropyl alcohol from the drug store for $2.99. I got the spray nozzle at Home Depot for a few bucks.
Nice video but this Google closed caption needs some work.
damn thats a lot of work but i guess if you want detail and not that shitty hum/clank ya need to do this
