  • The Cort KX707 is one of the best guitars I've demoed for a long time. Mahogany body, ash top, ebony fingerboard, 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, 5pc neck, roasted maple and walnut and locking tuners.
    www.cortguitar...
    The guitar sounds huge thanks to the @seymourduncanpickups Sentient and Nazgul pickups.
    But my favourite thing about this guitar is the @evertune bridge. What an invention! Tuning stability is no longer a worry. They are many videos out there explaining how it operates in very thorough detail but the basic description would be - each string and saddle is given a spring of it's own. That spring is set to the correct tension for a given note. For example the High E spring is set to the perfect tension for E. This means that you can do all your crazy bends and heavy riffing and the string physically can't go out of tune. The guitar comes with an Evertune manual to help you tune up, set action and intonation.
    An incredible guitar from a brand that should never be dismissed.

    Roasted maple neck, ebony fretboard, stainless steel frets, locking tuners, Evertune bridge, Nazgul/Sentient pups and a gig bag. All for a stupidly good price. I mean, what are the downsides. Real sleeper guitar, damn.

    So I'll take this old empty wooden box, sling some strings across it and glue on a 2 x 4 for a neck. It sounds GREAT😮😮
    No Cameron...it's you!! 😅😅
    Some people are just that gifted. I'm not saying you don't practice 8 hrs a day to hone that gift, but it is a gift. Thanks for sharing it.

    I would love to see ya jam more on 7 string. Some of the compositions ya threw together were sick. And that SD pickup combo, the Sentient (neck) and Nazgul (bridge), are my absolute favorite. Looks like Cort has built a really nice weapon. Thanks for posting. Cheers from Texas.

    1:59 you hear this all the time that youtubers tell this classic story that there are a lot of people out there who claim you can't bend an Evertune guitar. In every Evertune video outside the official page this story is mentioned.
    Here is the truth: I have never heared ANYONE claim that you can't bend strings on an Evertune bridge. Never. The only ones who talk about this are the youtubers, like Cameron and others. It is like pre-decided, like oh, we are going to talk about Evertune then we have to put this fake story in it as well. Stop the crap.

      What you don't see is a lot of people when they first try an Evertune guitar get put off by the 'no bend' zone idea and put the guitar down and leave it. It's simply a note to reassure people that a guitar with an Evertune bridge can operate normally. Plus it's important to talk a little about how it works because it's a really cool piece of engineering in it's own right

    You should better learn evertune
    You can do bends if your evertune bridge tuned correctly.

      Yeah, well done! I bend strings in this video and play it like a normal guitar. I never said you couldn't bend on an Evertune bridge...

    What’s your opinion on Kramer guitars compared to charvel?

    • @CameronCooper
      @CameronCooper  6 месяцев назад +6

      Not that interested in Kramer really. Charvel pack a lot of value into a guitar and modernise the relevant areas of a traditional design whereas Kramer seem to stay very much in the 80s which doesn't really appeal to me.
