It's a line from the song "Tell Her (You Love Her Each Day)" -- not to be confused with the similarly titled "Tell Her You Love Her" -- both of which were recorded by Mr. Sinatra.
Frank is the only singer that has made me cry, not because he is singing something that relates to me, therefore making me relive past memories, its the voice that makes me tear up. The soft voice lingering within my ears as he gently plays the piano just gets to me. What a legend ❤
You should hear this stunner! Possibly the most beautiful male voice ever recorded. Apart from perhaps Jussi Björling that is. ruclips.net/video/eVvz4gZ0CMk/видео.html
I know exactly. I was in the 2nd wave of fans who were into the last to wear bobby soxes and the rest of it. I would simply melt at his voice and even his look. I must have been mad! But there I was!
It's an OK question. Abd at the risk of sounding glib, I say: Find someone to love because you treasure them as a person, and he or she will love you. And always be hopeful.
I've been listening to Sinatra in an earnest way since I was in my late teens. I grew up in the 70s when on Black radio in Chicago what you were most likely to hear was the Spinners, the O'Jays, the Ohio Players....so on and so forth. I was completely deprived of music from someone like Sinatra in any place I went in my circles. Even jazz, which is rooted in the African-American experience was extremely rare on the radio in those days. What got me sprung on Sinatra was my mother going to an exclusive showing of Quincy Jones's "Listen Up". At that showing she received a companion cassette tape of Quincy's work with people like Ray Charles and his work with theme songs to TV shows. It was all quite interesting. But the thing I kept playing over and over again was Sinatra singing "Fly Me To The Moon" from his studio album with Count Basie. I just loved it! So I started investigating Sinatra and it was like discovering hidden treasure. I bought everything I could find on him. All his albums (which I later converted to CD as I aged and made more money) and books on him and VHS tapes and DVDs. I'm now 55 years old and I own an extensive Sinatra collection (along with Nat Cole and Miles Davis and many other artists who were largely unheard by me coming from the era in which I was raised). I owe it all to that little cassette tape my mom got from attending a show with some of her friends all those years ago. I just wanted to share that with people who love Sinatra as much as I do. Sadly, there seems to be less and less of those people as the years go by. But I always do my best to recruit new converts by introducing folks to the beauty that is his voice. I fall in love too easily, I guess. I'm not gay. Although there is nothing wrong with that. I just don't want anyone to misunderstand my last sentiment.
Gadz! Can you imagine sitting in a movie theater ca 1945 watching him sing and hearing that luminous voice! No wonder women screamed in ecstasy. The music beauty of his voice and the un-surpassingly sweet earnestness that he projects and those blue, blue eyes!
Frank Sinatra is speculated to have been Bi-polar. he was a asshole when drunk but when he was in a lively mood he was really nice. he doesn't strike me as one who'd lay a hand on somebody though.
@@faithandfocus701 Maybe so, but (and not trying to denigrate the genius of Mr. Styne) without Mr. Cahn's lyrics, Ol' Blue Eyes would have been reduced to humming his way through that tune. 😉
Where are these beautiful songs and lyrics now..Frank sinatra could certainly sing them meaningfully. So, many many likes, so songwriters, come on do your duty write something like..I fall in love too easily. Wonderful.
Interestingly, Jose Iturbi, pianist and Orchestra Leader in the movie , raised a fuss when Frank was was scheduled to sing at the Hollywood Bowl. Somehow, Jose forced himself to appear in Frank's movies. I was 11 years old. My sisters and I went to Frank's concert. I've been in love with him since I was 9.

Amo as músicas de Frank Sinatra, melhor cantor de todos os tempos. Sua voz na interpretação de músicas românticas nos faz sonhar, ele canta com o coração. He and Ava Gardner and the rest of the Golden Age stars such as Audrey Hepburn, Gary Cooper, Clark Gable, etc etc were living proof that brunettes are hot and talented as well. People are always going on about blondes these days, but they forget that most of these iconic people were brunettes.

"A simple 'I love you' means more than money." (Frank Sinatra)
@@swiftie762 that's how much it meant to him, he didn't just tell anyone "I love you" all the time. It would have lost its' value then.

polite spoon diff kind of love dummy.
I imagine it to be the same feeling on how you believe yourself to be shit and self loath, but in a positive manner.

Says he's too tired to walk
Sings a song that pulls at the heartstrings
Great job, as always. I love hearing (and singing) your stuff.
Sinatra's voice plus strings makes all the stresses in the world go away. His voice is the voice of our lives.
Greatest entertainer of the 20th Century. Musically relevant for 50 years and won an Oscar as an actor.

This deserves millions of views. This is so good
What an inimitable voice! He got better with age. Can't say that of too many singers.
He got different with age, but I prefer the younger voice.
@ more emotional
Sammy Cahn's lyrics are so complex that they're simple, direct, and heart-breaking.
Jule Styne's music set the tone.

Ohh I forgot Bel Canto and Blues!
No other singer should attempt that song because Sinatra's phrasing, timing and diction could never be equalled.
