I’m listening to this absolute classic of a gem in 2024. What a truly beautiful magnificent voice Nat King Cole had. I can’t stand most of the music that’s popular today, and I feel my faith restored when I listen to vocals as beautiful as this. I’m 33 years old.

I love this song, my husband and I have been married for 71 years and this is one of the songs we use to dance to in the early 40' we had true love songs back then. We are still in love with each other.
I was in my twenties when we got electricity at home..1956. Bought a radio and used to listen to this great NAT KING COLE almost everyday. Nostalgic memories when I listen to these masterpieces now when I am 91 years.
Good show. Electricity is a luxury unless you live in the desert in the summer, where AC is almost absolutely necessary. You can do without it even then if you have iced drinks aplenty, but when it gets uncomfortable all night long as well as all day long, you've simply got to leave.
My beautiful wife, Cheryl, and I fell in love in 1967 when she was 17 and I was 20. We were married for nearly 54 years before she died from the effects of ALZ/Dementia 25 months ago. I will love her forever.

I met this wonderful man while walking with my father on a sidewalk in downtown Los Angeles around "1955" I would have been around 7 yrs old at the time, I can still hear my dad saying hello! Nat!..as he walked towards us.. how you been? and he answered back with that big warm smile and said why hello Merrill I've been just fine. Funny how I can still picture that scene and still hear their voices in my mind. They both had met back in the late forties through show business. Unforgettable memories..^^ True story!

As an opera fan-atic as well as of jazz and 1950s ballads, I wondered for a long time whether Colin Riley's one-sentence class-ification could be sustained. At last, (at 80) I agree. The two greatest singers of my time are; Jonas Kaufman and Nat King Cole. Both have that uniquely silky smooth timbre and both are inque because their voices spanned the baritone and tenor ranges. THAT no one has ben able to match. Dipak Nandy
This performance is from "The Jack Benny Show." The just showed the episode this morning and I fell in love with his voice. He talked about his career and was interviewed by Mr. Benny. A class act.
true Senecas Group Líder simply wonderful 👏👏👏 I humbly made a version to honor him/her on my channel with the Cinderella theme sung by me🙏 I also cry 🥲
I love this song! This is when love was really love. When finding true love was a lot easier. I'm glad my mom and dad played songs like this when I was growing up. I really appreciate the artist and songs now no more than ever!
Played this at our wedding as the couples dance. What a beautiful memory seeing my new husband and all our beloved couples dancing to this. That will stick in my mind forever.
Still listening, or (re)discovering this song, this style of song, this time, like in classical music, even that was 'popular' music. Art, popular or less popular, depends for a part of moment fashion, true, but can be (re)discovered, and appreciated, even loved.
I fell in love very young with the boy I married. We were together for 64 years when he passed away. Nat King Cole was our favorite and so was "When I fall in Love". A wonderful voice from a wonderful man.
I Love Nat in 2024! My parents danced and fell in love in 1944 right after my Father got back to the states from collapsing in England from heart faiure, the night before he and his buddies were supposed to fly across the English Channel likely for the D-DAY INVASION, at the "Blue Moon" in Tucson, Arizona. They told all of us nine children of the many "Big Bands" which came to play at tge "Blue Moon":: Tommy Dorsey and many more! They also danced together in front of us and taught all how to dance. Beautiful Memories of our Beautiful and Handsome Parents! Veronica ❤️🌹❤️

Great classic from a great man.. I have loved this song since I heard it for the first time, even though I am late 80' generation with listening to modern times music of XXI century, that kind of song I like to come back from time to time and I admire it.. Perfect vocal from that man and great lyrics and this comment I wrote in mid '24.
Yes, and John Lennon believed "all you need is love" from the bottom of his heart too. In reality, both he and Nat were abusive philanderers. Hypocrites to the core. These performances are just that: performers performing, creating an illusion for your entertainment-and of course, for their own enrichment. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're better off knowing how things really are than to continue being a naive victim of sham artists who prey on the emotionally vulnerable.
We met and fell in love on 1956-59. Married in 1960. After many wonderful years the angels came for her in July of 2021. She remains the love of my life and we loved this song and especially the lyrics.
I was about 12when I found our records; Nat,Ella, Frank, Julie London,etc...Those voices, those songs gave us the shape and texture of romance and heartache.thank you!
Love is still out there!! After my hubby passed from Parkinson’s I stayed 11 years as a widow then like out of no where here comes my second love. A first early love then a late in life love! Both were different kinds of love but that same feeling in your heart .♥️

Discovered this song two days ago, and I’ve been hearing it on repeat nonstop. It’s so lovely! And it makes me feel something I never felt before. I don’t know how to call this feeling, but it’s a mix between nostalgia and happiness so big that I feel like crying. It feels out of this world, like I’m dancing with the person I love on spring, seeing the stars that are out in space, reading a book on a coffee shop while the sun is setting. Because my English is so bad I can’t find a proper to explain what I feel like, so I hope that even without using the correct words you can all understand what this is. It’s beautiful and charming. It’s an amazing feeling!

Ive loved Nat since I was five and they used to play his Christmas songs on a loop during the test card on British TV. Anyone remember "He's the little boy that Santa Claus forgot?". He was born to sing this song. My mum' s favourite. There will never be another Nat but the warmth of his personality and voice will live on for us to enjoy.
i'm 17 years old and i'm from Turkey. And i feel that way too... I quess some emotions never change. I feel that Nat King and i share something special inside. Its just so unique that i cant even talk about it
We fell in love in 1956. We were married in 1961. She died in April a year ago. I am still in love.

Nat King Cole is a very talented singer and he has a magical voice and lyrics that I love 💕 his songs will never be forgotten in this world 🌍. Tell me which of his songs are your favorites songs?
Still the King Nat in 2022, Timeless, forever more.
This probably has my vote for one of the most beautifully orchestrated pieces of music. It's up there with Clair de Lune by Debussy
So glad we have these treasured times in moments.
Extremely well said my friend. 🙂
true Stank simply wonderful 👏👏👏 I humbly made a version to honor him/her on my channel with the Cinderella theme sung by me🙏
So classy he was. And handsome!
+Nastassja P yes and yes
One of a kind. My fav singer of all time.
Dipak Nandy
Voice like velvet.
amaya lobatomusica de gregorio barrios dos almas
Add a little suede to that and a touch of satin, if you will. (smile)
amaya lobato My mom used to say that, I grew up listening to him.
amaya lobato When I first heard him sing at 7, I told my parents that is what angels sound like. And he is my favourite singer. Ever.
amaya lobato so thru there will never be one like him again
I could cry with happiness when I hear this. Howard Salter 75 but feeling 17
You can't touch this. The best rendition of this song yesterday, today and forever
Amen to that, Eric !
Rick Astleys rendition is pretty good.
This man is still singing in heaven I have been married for 53 years and tears come to my eyes when I hear him sing

true Susan me tio 🥲 simply wonderful 👏👏👏 I humbly made a version to honor him on my channel with the Cinderella theme sung by me🙏
This performance is from "The Jack Benny Show." The just showed the episode this morning and I fell in love with his voice. He talked about his career and was interviewed by Mr. Benny. A class act.
Look at him. Listen to him. Living, walking and singing charisma. Just beautiful...
How I wish I could travel back in time !!!
OJ Ivey ....you can say that again .
Oh how I miss seeing Nat King Cole on the television. He was one of the greatest. When he sang you listened.... totally. Nothing else mattered.

I love this song! This is when love was really love. When finding true love was a lot easier. I'm glad my mom and dad played songs like this when I was growing up. I really appreciate the artist and songs now no more than ever!
Nat made everyone feel this world was a wonderful and harmonious place, the man preached of love and peace something we could use in this lifetime
Wise words, my friend....every damn one of them.
he truly was a special person
His phrasing is, it's just wow. Mesmerizing.
Played this at our wedding as the couples dance. What a beautiful memory seeing my new husband and all our beloved couples dancing to this. That will stick in my mind forever.
Unbelievably beautiful voice! I remember being able to stay up up to listen to the NatKingCole show! Brings tears to my eyes
This is one of the best love songs ever written. Nat King Cole made it one of his signature tunes.
Who's still listening 2019 everyone?
Me
me and I am 18😂

Still listening, or (re)discovering this song, this style of song, this time, like in classical music, even that was 'popular' music. Art, popular or less popular, depends for a part of moment fashion, true, but can be (re)discovered, and appreciated, even loved.
Me 🥰
I swear, I am gonna buy a Phonograph someday. Sit outside my house, watching the sunset while listening to this Legend.
do it now Mervin.....go hard...there may be no tomorrow...Cheers from New Zealand

At 80 I can remember watching him on his TV show and thinking how great he was compared with anyone else. It created a mindset that never left me.
At 85, it's good to remember and cry and smile(-:
true Richard. simply wonderful 👏👏👏 I humbly made a version to honor him on my channel with the Cinderella theme sung by me🙏
This will be the song for my first dance in honor of my grandma she loved Nat King Cole❤️❤️❤️
People like him who are being treated badly

He was too young when he left us. Wonderful human being.
He really was.
Who could ever forget this soothing warm feeling when Nat King Cole, sings this romantic song. This is so inspiring….
It's always been our song....52 years and still going strong!
Vittorio Sgarbi e Fabrizio Frizzi
Great classic from a great man.. I have loved this song since I heard it for the first time, even though I am late 80' generation with listening to modern times music of XXI century, that kind of song I like to come back from time to time and I admire it.. Perfect vocal from that man and great lyrics and this comment I wrote in mid '24.
Such a beautiful man, his voice is lovely enough to soothe one's soul to the core.
Such a beautiful song, he sings it from the heart.
Beverly Garner iii
You can see the emotions and facial expressions showing that he meant every word he sang.
Beverly Garner couldn’t agree more lady
Yes, and John Lennon believed "all you need is love" from the bottom of his heart too.
In reality, both he and Nat were abusive philanderers. Hypocrites to the core.
These performances are just that: performers performing, creating an illusion for your entertainment-and of course, for their own enrichment.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're better off knowing how things really are than to continue being a naive victim of sham artists who prey on the emotionally vulnerable.
@@Panglos very funny, I hope you haven't committed suicide yet, get some help.
Beautiful voice ❤
We met and fell in love on 1956-59. Married in 1960. After many wonderful years the angels came for her in July of 2021. She remains the love of my life and we loved this song and especially the lyrics.
My parents married in 1960. Divorced in 2001. They died in separate cities in 2019-2020. I'm glad you two are still together.

Your English is good, you described the feeling perfectly!
I'm listening, but he's gone ahead after 57 years. Miss him so.
Soft and smooth voice. No need for vast vocal gymnastics. Just a beautiful song sung with restraint and gentle feeling.
This song, and Nat King Cole in general, always makes me teary eyed. His voice is so rich and soulful
Happy 100th Birthday Nat! It is hard to believe you would be that old! You will always be that young man with the most marvelous silky voice ever!
I love all the young people appreciating true music and love songs. These songs are timeless. NKC was a treasure!
For songs like this its worth to born into this world :)
this song is timeless ... just beautiful!

One of the best singers of all time. Smoothness personified.
I am 20 but love old music like this, this man's voice is wonderful🤩
NAT KING COLE WAS A GIFT TO MUSIC FROM GOD .
I'LL FOREVER THANK GOD FOR NAT KING COLE !!!
02:33 when he said fall in love with you, that stare to the camera, it feels like he looked right through it. what a beautiful man!
This song will never die or get old, 2022 and I'm still listening
i'm 17 years old and i'm from Turkey. And i feel that way too... I quess some emotions never change. I feel that Nat King and i share something special inside. Its just so unique that i cant even talk about it
