- The plaintiff says the defendant tried to pass her car with his tow truck and sideswiped her. She’s suing for the cost of the repairs. The defendant says the plaintiff made a sharp right turn and clipped the truck’s mud flap. He alleges she admitted on tape that she was at fault.

“My mom gets really nervous” no baby your mom is a liar 🤣🤣
Most people who lie in court get really nervous.
The look on her face when she found out about the tape!
priceless! 😆

PRICELESSSSSS

I know right. The ground could have opened up and swallowed her right there, when she heard that the driver got her on tape. She ended up perjuring herself in court and that's all JM wanted to throw this case out.
"There's no visual that he can prove anything".... That's all I need to hear to know that the plaintiff is wrong and knew it
Exactly!
"you can't prove it". The calling card of the guilty person
On point!

I am the same way if someone says to me," Prove it"
How does this plaintiff function not only as an adult in life but also as a mother? Her behavior was quite juvenile in court.
She's mentally a child herself.
It was so cringey
she's as sharp as a bag of wet hair
He better give his driver a raise for collecting the evidence needed for the V!
I'm convinced that Judge Milian and Douglas were cackling in the beginning because they already heard that audio recording and knew the plaintiff was full of it and had the nerve to go through with this lawsuit. SMH
I feel like he might write things on the piece of paper he's always handing to her just to make her laugh or smile.
The plaintiff isn't the brightest person and a flat out liar!
When you see someone acting like a clown in court all judges know it is because they ain’t that bright. lol
but her daughter is gorgeous.
It surprised me that she have a drivers license because - to put it Kindly - she seems Oblivious. 😊
Maybe she had an accident of some sort herself because it sometimes seems like the elevator don't hit the top 🔝 floor, the light 🚦 is on but nobody home 🏡 😀 😃 poor thing 😋 😋
She looks like a hobbit in a Carol Brady mullet.
I'm trying to see why everyone in the comments are skipping over the fact that she clearly isn't that bright I was trying to see was she on something or just not too bright i knew it was something when she said the body man told her to sue for 5,000 it's kinda like telling a 5 year old to pick up a candy bar and walk out of the store with it in their little minds they know it's wrong but they were told to do it so they do I wouldn't blame the 5 year old I'd blame the person trying to take advantage of the 5 year old
This woman is a liar and it was clear that she was caught when he mentioned the recording. Her face, body language, and verbal cues said it all.
Literally everything changed once he mentioned the recording. It's actually almost laughable
She's probably the worst plaintiff I've seen on here!
That woman wouldn't know the truth if it came and bit her on the butt.
She’s got a very scary smile especially during the recording and when the judge was looking at her.
She reminds me of the murderer who was told they found the body while doing a live interview. Complete change in demeanor in an instant.
" i was going 30 but then slowed down to 35" oh boy
That one had me rolling. I'm like did anybody else catch that ?😂
When she said that I was like oh she’s one of them loopy ditz’s.
lmfao! I had to rewind to make sure I heard that right. Even the judge was like "wait a minute..." XD

That's why it's extremely important to call the police when the accident happened
Police have better things to do than go out to a fender bender. Chances are they will send a tech out at the most. Unless, it's an accident that involves in major injuries, or death, the cops don't care about your fender bender. Best thing is have a dash cam.
I called the police when a sweet little old man hit my car in a parking lot. The police came out but told me next time don’t call them… however that sweet old man LIED to the insurance company and if the police hadn’t faulted him in the police report he would have gotten away with it. So I say ALWAYS call the police.
@@alycew.787 Thanks 👍 4 SHARING that story
The police in mine and most municipalities will not come to a minor fender bender with no injuries and shouldn’t, there are much more important things that they need to attend to.

That told me, before the case even started, that she was lying.
That Plaintiff couldn't look more guilty if she tried. What a phony.

LMFAOOOOO this is a good one! I was crying laughing every time the camera panned to the plaintiff! She is outta her mind 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I knew she was lying as soon as she went up to the board.... I would have tried to defend my mom too honestly. But I would have definitely talked to her about it later, she was dead wrong. That's not cool.
Clearly, she lied through her teeth, and then tried to sue for $5000... The Plaintiff should be ashamed of herself.
I’m guessing the daughter does have a chat with her after this, but was just trying to back her mom up on TV there at the end. I also wonder if it might take mom a little longer to understand things. Maybe she needs a little extra processing time. That doesn’t change the fact she flat out lied, more than once, just an additional observation.
Exactly. But my younger son would've just told me to stop talking and said let's go. And pulled me outta there. But my older one would've told him, shut da fck up. Hahahahah lmao. But seriously, I definitely wouldn't have been there doing anything like that especially in front of my kid. Nope. Her insurance already told her Abt the audio, but she was too stupid to figure out her money scam was over. If someone tells me they got audio and my insurance tells me declined based on that evidence. The gig would be up. Glad her dumb azz got busted. Doing insurance fraud and perjury. This man has a business that runs on keeping insurance and abiding state laws. Accidents like this can greatly increase his insurance rates or even get his insurance removed altogether. She's scandalous and a scammer and see she's taught her daughter to lie, scam, do fraud and lord knows what else. Not a good look. The daughter should've kinda stayed out of it. The way the plaintiff keeps stretching her jaws, looks a lot like clients I have seen that were addicted to all sorts of drugs……. The nonsense that comes out of her mouth is also consistent with that!
That's a pretty good observation.
I was curious what that was about.
thought the same thing right away... she has a drug problem no question
Why does the plaintiff need to point out there's a gas station when it's totally irrelevant unless she intended to make a left turn by slowing down? And she was not nervous...she was just trying to cover up her lies!!!
Daughter sticking up for mother. I hope daughter realizes her mother is a liar.
The plaintiff is so used to making up stories that she has her daughter convinced that she is in the right and so the daughter is making up stories to justify her mother's stories (just replace the word stories with lies, because that's what it is). It's always someone else's fault, even the bodyshop guy apparently made her lie about the costs...
She at least went along with it which shows her moral/ethical standards are pretty low to begin with. She even seemed to be proud of suing for a fraudulent amount.
I would have LOVED if the driver was actually there! Not only did she bold face lie.. she blamed the driver for "intimidating" her into admitting it was her fault on the tape?!
Not sure why Judge repeated the indecision part from the tape when right after she said that, she said "BOOM! I got you". She admits right there that she hit him. What an embarrassing and mortifying experience for the mother and daughter.
The judge must have already heard the audio, as that would have been part of the evidence submitted as the answer to the lawsuit. She was evidently giving her just enough rope to hang herself (figuratively), which she did.
He was driving next to her in a single lane. If he got hit, his fault.
The plaintiff is eccentric and off her rocker.Just embarrassing 🙈
She’s such a bare faced liar! I’m embarrassed for her, can’t believe she had the gall. 🥴🤦🏻♂️
Judge specifically asked “ was there indecision “ and in the recording she says she was indecisive, so I think they anyway heard the tape lol
If the woman was in front of the tow truck, her being indecisive does not make her at fault. It is the person following to keep a distance that is far enough, so if someone is unsure, there will not be a collision. The woman could have stuck with that, and it would have been the tow truck driver's fault.
The judge gets to review the evidence that each side submits before the trial. She pretty much knows what went down before even coming up to the bench.
@@coreydbryant what she did was slow to stop and prepare to turn, changed her mind without signalling and the truck was going around her she drove into his truck because she wasn't looking after stopping to turn.

Mom is full of it and then her daughter makes excuses for her is ridiculous.
That plaintiff is playing dumb and ditsy and it's not even cute.
And she wouldn't have been cute even if she hadn't acted that way. The very fact that she had taken her "part's guy's" advice to sue for more than repairs would be spoke volumes about her ethics, and that she'd pull something underhanded like this.
There are a bunch of individual things that she's done that make her seem like a liar and a fraudster. Taken individually they make her look bad but the fact that they all happen at the same time really brings it home

Ooof. Cringey is an understatement
I was waiting to learn about the rear wheel steering in tow trucks that work the way she described.
I don't think anyone is debating that the truck driver hit her but they are debating about who was REALLY at fault and it was her for slowing down to probably make a illegal left turn.
She could’ve been contemplating turning, slowing down and realized she couldn’t turn at the spot and tried to pull off. But the tow truck driver got irritated with her tried to illegally passed on her right side which she said had parking spots. It was clearly a 1 car lane. Had she told the truth that they scraped each other while driving off, the driver and company would have been liable for THAT illegal maneuver. She wouldn’t have been at fault because generally 1 car lanes DO NOT have a turning lane. There is no “illegal left turn” you have turn where you can a lot of times and all the cars behind you have to be patient and wait. 🤷🏽♀️
@@terrim.9002 who told you it was one lane only? You did and ran with it. Besides, even if it's one lane and the car is turning, you can go around them if there's room. Legally. But there has to be two lanes because after she decided she wanted to keep going and not turn, she wouldn't have had to change lanes, she couldn't just went straight in her own lane. She went into another lane and hit him. Thus two lanes. At the very least, there was a turning lane that she was in.
@@groowanderer you clearly didn’t see the diagram displayed or read what i wrote. If it was multiple lanes the drawing would’ve displayed that. I said the lane was a 1CAR lane not the road boo. @@terrim.9002 so you think the diagram they let everyone use up there is an actual map image from the street where the accident occurred... 🤔 I don't think so. It's meant only to give an idea of what happened.
She didn't need to state that she switched lanes. She clearly stopped then started driving again when she realized she was making a mistake, then didn't even look to see if it was clear. That's why she's at fault.
She's under the influence of something. She has a bigger problem than just a damn truck, she may or may not have even seen.

Lol she knew she was in 💩 when he had that tape.
I don't get how the courts make the litigants raise their hand to tell the truth but when their caught in a lie the courts don't penalize the perjurer.
Because that would be never-ending.
Although court tv litigants do sign a contract agreeing to abide by the judge's decision, I don't believe the judges on these shows have the authority to penalize perjury or contempt of court. It's why when folks yell at the judge or just really piss them off, all the judge can do is order them out of the room, & rule against them.
I think lying in court or back-talking/yelling at the judge in an actual court is definitely punished, with fines & even jail time.
A perjury charge would require a trial; the offender can't just be found to have committed perjury on the spot like she can be found in contempt.
This isn't court. It's a private mediation.
A false witness will not go unpunished, And he who speaks lies shall perish.

When she said she slowed down at an intersection to wait for other cars it didn’t sound right. If she had right of way why would she slow unless she debated turning? I’m glad defendant had tape to prove she lied.
The Plaintiff is more than nervous-- everybody is nervous being in court *and on TV,* but making the noise of the Defendant going around her, her facial expressions while she's talking, she's very *animated,* she can't follow very basic instructions---she's lost no matter how carefully somebody explains something.... At first I thought the daughter was trying to stay off camera at the end...that's what *I* would have done! "You're on your own on this one, Ma"
Confused doesn’t even begin to describe the plaintiff… I swear, she spoke to a lawyer who told her to sue for more (including “emotional distress”) and to pretend like the tow truck driver was using their size to intimidate her. So, she would come off as this sweet, innocent woman instead of actually being the nervous wreck that caused an accident.
That's why every insurance pamphlet tells you to never admit fault after an accident. Even if it seems like it was your fault, you don't know all the surrounding circumstances. For example, I hit a car making a left turn and thought it was my fault. But later learned that he turned left from a street that allowed right turns only. Glad I didn't admit fault cause they ended up paying a large settlement.

A lot of people won't understand this, but I also by nature have an apologetic personality. If I'm standing steal, and someone bumps me in a crowded store, I usually will say "sorry" just because it happened, not because I'm at fault. I assume it was an accident so I'm more sorry that it happened, rather than I am assuming fault. I also use to (not anymore) get intimidated by certain people in situations where I would agree at the time because I didn't want to deal with any negativity.
