This reboot series was fantastic.
I agree!

QuarantineZ that’s fine it’s your opinion
Cold Flame you are a very civil person and that is incredibly rare on the internet.
I love how Koba was the ape that inadvertently created the pandemic seeing as he hated humans the most
Peter Wilson - Poetic.
Never even saw it that way. And Koba is my favourite character. Good observation
I thought that right when they showed him and you could see the hateful look on his face and the disfigurement the scientists put him through.
Poetic and Ironic: he hated humans and despite not living long, he left a hate gift for the thing he hated most - the Simian Flu.
@@juliovictormanuelschaeffer8370 Apes FOREVERRRRR!
War for the planet of the apes was a superb way to end the series. Its just depressing as hell that humans break up into fractions. Fighting each other and the apes. Rather than do something productive.
Albert Contreras another film is coming
theres probably some advanced human survivors free of the diases in the artic seed stoarage and military bases but the question for that is would the uninfected be abke to surive in the deep artic without country support and supplies
Humans have always been a split species. Nothing will ever truly unite us. Not even a common enemy.

When you realize Simian flu and Corona Virus have the same symptoms.
*When you realize pretty much every flu, generic and mutated, has the same classic symptoms.*
@@LethalOwl Technically Covid-19 (coronavirus) isn't a flu, it's a different type of virus from the same family as SARS and the virus that causes the Common Cold.
@@ladsrus3554 Of course, 'technically' it is different, but the symptoms are classics in a lot of generic illnesses. It's the severity one ought to keep an eye on.
When you realize it can, and frequently mutate as well
Simian flu has bad headaches, bleeding through mouth etc. So is far more gory than corona, more deadly as well
Ironic how Koba actually succeeded in destroying humanity without even knowing.
He is in hell being like: Hey wait, I spent my whole life destroying the world, but I already did it? WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME!
maybe he knew because he was already smart ape

I agree! Hes fantastic with or without stop motion. Hes hilarious in Black Panther, you can tell he loves his work :)
@@filmcomicsexplained, he was also fantastic in The Last Jedi. I hate that movie but his performance as Snoke was really intimidating. A shame he got killed off.

Remember in the first one when the boy was handing out the newspaper it said spaceship lost in space that may be the space ship in the first ever planet of the apes
It is, it's the same name too.

Can I just say, no other series has been revived on the level this one has. Tim Burton’s version had the unrealistic lack of quality and science that was a result of its time. This reboot is not only scientifically and modernly accurate, but it’s writing, CGI, plot, conflict, protagonist, etc. are just out of the park in my opinion. The evolution Caesar goes through is incredible.

I absolutely loved this whole trilogy, especially the last one. It was a little lacking on the whole "War" thing, but that was probably for the best anyways. There was no way the apes would ever come out on top in an actual war, so shifting it to a war being fought between two groups of humans with the apes caught in the middle was a great way to get around that.
"war" can mean many things they are having a "war" for survival so is the humans fighting for the human survival
I always viewed it as Caesar's internal war with himself between wanting revenge but also wanting to save all of his kind.
They would probably win a war tbh cuz they have the advantage with strength and how agile they can be
At this point, the apes would virtually wipe out the remaining humans. Humanity may have superior technology, but they're spread too thin and their numbers are meager compared to the apes. In Dawn, we saw what looked to be a few thousand apes at minimum and that number has remained pretty consistent even in War. Even if the humans wipe out 500 apes there will be 500 more to replace them. Numbers is exactly why Koba and his army defeated the humans in Dawn.

What about Polio? Nothing really bad happened from the cure for it. Now if you're being arrogant and irresponsible like the people Gensysis in the movie, you're asking for a disaster.
But where do you draw the line, the polio vaccine could be a ticking time-bomb that may trigger fungal like mutations and give rise to clickers as seen in the walking dead if the vaccine is exposed to a new vaccine. So no one knows, until it is too late

Wow RUclips recommending this in 2021
Looking forward to Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes now. Really interested to see where it's going from War for the Planet of the Apes. I'm wondering if the astronauts will appear. If they do, we'll be seeing their arrival from the ape's point of view this time. We already know they'll be on Earth so it'll be interesting to see how they do the story when they land. It'll be interesting because it'll kind of be a remake of the first film except that Taylor won't be the central character.
That starting scene for the second film is chillingly terrifying and beautiful at the same time
Wait up 1:20 Why would they make the virus more contagious? What were they wanting to do?
So I still haven't watched War but i'll definitely check it out after this.
And how about you check out the Flood virus from Halo, or more commonly know Space Zombie virus.
Please cover the Green Flu, specifically the special infectes, from Left 4 Dead

This new version of the Planet of the Apes wouldn't have worked without Andy Serkis he really gave life to Caesar I hope they do a continuation of the apes this time we'll follow his last surviving con Cornelius. I wonder if Andy will play his own son or will they have another actor do it if they go with another actor I wish it would be Nick Thurston who played Blue Eyes.
To those wondering about this and a similar situation 2020/2021, a lot of viruses do have same symptoms because Zoonoses can be caused by a range of disease pathogens such as emergent viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites; of 1,415 pathogens known to infect humans.
Now all of this makes sense

FYI, These movies are not a prequel series.
Incredible set of films. I had no idea they were this good.
When I saw the post credit scene of Rise of the Planet of the Apes, where the pilot has the virus and the credits continue with multiple yellow lines symbolizing the virus is spreading throughout the globe, I was like:
"Woah... Is that really happening?"
And then I saw Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and that opening sequence which is also the same as the post credits scene in the previous movie, I was like:
"Holy sh*t......"
I'm literally obsessed with these reboots. I see this trilogy as an equal to Star wars and LOTR. Thanks for making this video. I'm at this level obsession. Where I can sit here and just love this. fun fact: Koba is a bonboo and they are usually friendly
And Caesar is a chimp, known for their aggression
@@gangrenousgandalf2102 which probably adds to their dynamic, Bonboos were friendly but Koba's mistreatment turned him violent meanwhile Chimps are aggressive but Caesar's upbringing made him less violent
The scene of the airline pilot and how the virus gradually makes its way around the globe was horrifying the first time I saw it in theaters. While it may only be a movie the realization of how something such as sickness can spread so quickly and remain unnoticed or disregarded till it's too late is chilling.
I wanted the humans to win the entire movie. I knew they wouldn't, but i still felt a bit let down when all the soldiers died in the avalanch.

The colonel said that his son went into full primal state, meaning that he also lost his intelligence. But Nova only shows signs of losing the ability to speak. Since Nova is living with the apes, hopefully it doesn't turn out like the original planet of the apes.
Also surely at least someone survived the avalanche at the end of the movie..
Yeah theres more reinforcements to help the soldiers in the avalance
So, are bats getting any smarter?

I think that its particularly interesting that humans become the very things we had to fight (Predators) as we evolved into what we are today, very much like us in the early stages, it just seems cool that it all comes full circle in some way.

New video? 2 A.M? Must watch
I don't know if anyone else has realized this, but with their regular creation and use of stone tools and weapons, such as making spears for fishing, building more complicated shelters, their ever increasingly complicated social structures, and some even being observed using fire in a primitive manner, chimpanzees and other apes are starting the beginnings of their stone age.
The reboot series was awesome, man.
The reboot was literally the best trilogy I’ve ever witnessed. Made Ceaser my favorite character of the past decade
I really enjoyed this one keep it going!
But one thing still lingering when does the nuclear war happen. In the series it's not just a virus but nuclear war happen that wipe most human out . Could there still be a possibility it could come reality
Probably. In the war of the planet of the apes the humans were fighting each other so the last groups of powerful humans probably use nuclear weapons to kill each other off.
It’s interesting watching this in the Coronavirus pandemic.
One of the best trilogies in my opinion! And awesome video, keep it up!
