Thank y'all for being so honest. Charlotte justifying paying y'all so little was a bit painful to watch. I danced a large amount of my life and almost pursued it professionally. The commitment, blood, sweat tears and MONEY you invest into the craft is equally as much if not more as it takes to play professional football. Saying you come to DCC to find your purpose is wild to me. But it is what it is. I just hope you both know how much I and many others loved seeing you on the team. Even if you weren't showcased as much as you should have been I personally will never forget seeing a strong black woman with natural hair on the field and a woman who was brutally injured go for her dreams with all the odds against her (the personification of strength). Kudos to the both of you!

Such a great first episode, Kally and Zhenya. I've been a fan of the DCC for years but only discovered the show here in the UK just before the Covid lockdown. I have huge respect for anyone who even tries out because it's a lot of hard work (too much for it even to be considered a hobby). I wish we could've got to see some of your rookie year as you're two of my faves from your class. I love how you've been super honest in this episode, appreciating the organisation but also admitting it does have its faults.
I'd love to know just how you balance everything, especially full-time work and going to practice. I'm a content creator and business owner myself and barely have time for working out, family and friendships, let alone adding in an additional job like a DCC. I feel like you all have more than 24 hours in a day! How did you even find time to practice or even relax?
Zhenya, I'm always fascinated by the 'older' women on the team (not old obvs, I'm 31 myself). Does it feel strange to be competing for a spot alongside 18 year olds? How did it feel making the team at 30 and do you feel your experience was any different, given your age? (I say this with full respect as I've felt like my life has only really begun at 30!)
