What should we give away next video?
A cut up panel Goonzquad style? Something broken in the wreck?

Very fun looking. I used to have a roadrace car and would get cars for free or near free and use the parts on the racecar then part out and scrap. Always found it fun work. I was a single guy operation, so metal was cut to a size I could lift and carry to my trailer. It was interesting to see scrap steel prices over the year. One trip and I could buy myself a large dunkin coffee and a muffin. Next time, I've got enough for 3 tanks of gas. I see you traded the S2000 for a Vette. I did a smaller level version and once needed some discontinued hasport swap mounts. I traded 4 boxes of parts with a guy across the country for them. He sent pickup tags and UPS came up the driveway.

I LOLed my ass off when I saw this, and cried a little, because at first I thought it was MY C6. Short story, I got side-swiped on I65 (right past the turn off to the Vette museum i might add) and did a 180 and hit the rock wall on the side of the highway rear end first at 70 mph. The diff came up though the rear floor, and sorry ruined the radio with the bell housing driving the floor into the dash. My wife and I had no injuries, not even scratches! Impact twisted the rear end to a 30 degree off set from left to right. The real laugh was I started it up and DROVE it onto the flatbed, because he couldn't get under it. Oh yeah, the side swipe de-skinned the passenger door and rear passenger fender. Then it went to Copart. sigh.

That's a T56 Magnum transmission that's used in the Hellcats and Demons. It's rated at 1,200HP. I didn't know Corvettes used them, but I knew Mustangs Cobra R and 4th gen Camaros do.

The T56 was definitely used for all sorts of cars, Vipers, Mustangs, Corvettes, Ram trucks, but not the Demon, those are dual/multiclutch, the T56 is a 6 speed Manual, I’m sure they swap them in but I don’t think they come with them, maybe an updated version in the older hellcats that were manual

Dudes ! ! Don't breath that fiberglass dust ! Never ! Wear at least a dust mask ! Small fibers can and will bring you bad news concerning your lungs. You want to live a happy life, I want you guys to be healthy. Trust me it takes very little particles to finish you. When you go to the doctor with metal in you eye remember I told you to always wear Safety Glasses! You'll learn the hard way. I wish you well !

Guessing they added the Dynamat there because the SLP loudmouth II’s drone insanely bad….. wonder if it helped? I had them on my C6 and he drone was almost unbearable….. my wife wouldn’t even ride in it because of this. Was instant migraine.

Dynamat helped reduce the tunnel howl you got when there is nothing in the back storage area. They didn't tell me about that

Scenario I'd think of that damaged this Vette?
I bet He was racing a Challenger.
He gaps the Challenger big, lets off, then Challenger anxiously trying to catch up keeps it to the floor and gets unsteady as he comes up on the Vette that had slowed down.
    Bammmm!!
    Both cars done for.
Challenger driver's insurance buys Vette driver new Vette!!

I love your videos! Im catching up on the older ones. I hate being that guy but please wear a respirator while cutting fiberglass. I'm a body guy and breathing that stuff in is nasty.

I was in collision repair for 35 years, nothing here I haven't seen. I have seen worse get fixed when the value exceeds 6 figures.

Fun video! Watching you two shit birds one up each other with "I have never seen this bad of damage" was enjoyable, reminds me of when you see a really good movie with your wife and you two constantly remark about how great it was hoping your not the one who says it one time to many and kills the mood. On a more serious note, Cairngorms trashing of that beautiful FD is concerning (and I know that Carington is spelled wrong but that is where autocorrect went, so who am I to tell Apple they are wrong.)

I need a manual C5,C6,C7 trans for mock up. If you guys have any that are unsellable or gutted, I’ll take it.
