Great to see you on board our 12C Nick, thanks for the review and your positive comments!
You're very welcome, thanks for the invitation! 🙂
This is the absolute 💯% BEST channel for yacht tours. Well done Nick (as always, you never disappoint)! 🍷
@@FLGurl I really appreciate that, you're very kind. 🙂
Lovely boat. I could see going out and touring, having dinner, sleeping overnight. Tons of below deck storage. Thank Nick for getting in the engine compartment for us fans.
What a glorious boat!
At the risk of sounding "braggadocios" America has tens of thousands of navigable waterways, rivers and lakes that would easily accept this boat. What a utilitarian charmer. Lots of weekend cruises, fortnight vacations and tied to the dock parties await these boats. Big bonus - STEEL HUL that laughs in the face of a wooden boat's dry rot. Thanks for the tour, Nick, you've found another hidden gem!
You're very welcome! 🙂
The US contains half of all the navigable waterways in the world by mileage, and that's with out counting the ICW.
this boat makes way too much sence for Americans! I lived with them for 35 years they dont understand things like this.
@@williamrussell3811 We understand things like this. We understand you value the slow and pokey experience of a slow river cruise on a fine evening. That the journey is as important as the destination. We understand things like this, we just don't value them the same way you do. Maybe it's because we have so many lakes and everybody wants to pull their kids behind the boat on skis or those blow up things. Or maybe it's because of the Great Loop route, where you can use the Intercoastal Waterway, rivers, and the Great Lakes to do a huge loop of six thousand of miles to become a "Looper" - nobody wants to do that on a steel boat with a wing motor. As an (in)famous American once said, "Ain't nobody got time for that!"
@@scottstewart5784 One thing I don't understand about European yachts is the fact that so many of them have little tiny grills or BBQs. Your own a boat that is big enough to entertain twenty people and they plan on grilling everyone's steak or whatever two at a time?!!! Forget about grilling vegetables with your proteins.
I think that is a gorgeous little boat.Ideal for the UK waterways. And it's incredibly well made and modern with some impressive features at a decent price. Thank you nick.
My pleasure!
What a perfect day to tour a zteel, boat. Wind is howling like a banshee and that boat is rock steady
What a comfortable boat for one or two people to travel aboard, or plenty of room for several day guests. I really liked this boat. This might sound crazy, but in this era of tiny houses and micro apartments, this could be a comfortable live aboard for a single or couple. Plenty of storage, nice head and shower, good sized forward stateroom. Impressive. Thanks for the tour Nick.
My pleasure!
What a treat this turned out to be. All that space below decks is a nice feature
Nice one Nick, lovely little cruiser for a couple who want a few weeks on the Norfolk broads. As usual well presented by yourself. Thanks Nick.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
What a lovely little utilitarian tug like inland cruiser. I just love it! Thanks Nick for showing us around this gem.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
That’s a lot of boat for the money! Nice tour as usual!👏🇨🇮🇵🇸
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Great little boat for the Norfolk Broads or canals. Ideal for a retired couple to go boating.
I love this style of boat - they always seem really comfortable and manageable. Float it on a pretty lake and it'd make a great bachelor pad!
Love it . That would be perfect to take a ride up the Hudson River in New York State.
What an adorable little boat. I could see myself cruising the intercoastal waterway in something like that.
Oh Nick you just shown me my ideal UK get away boat. You know my wants, galley down with full opening doors onto the outside. Not a dishwasher or pop up TV in sight blisssss. As a billy no mates a single cabin is ace too 😮 and all that under deck storage too. Hybrid propulsion and steel construction to boot too, whats not to like. Cheers DougT
MAGGIE!!! 1:37, "The Wave" 6:04, Neat little boat! I unfortunately would need the extra cabin, but that's ok I am the family chef too so I'd be in the middle of all the action. Thanks Nick!
Wonderful river boat and the bonus of the silent running certainly appealing.
Not what you’d expect out of Stoke!
Great tour Nick! Enjoy your weekend.
Thanks, you too!
🦘🇦🇺 What a great little river boat. I’m sure you have an almost unlimited number of pubs on the extensive inland waterways you have there, that you could almost spend a lifetime cruising looking for little pubs like you’ll find at Little Easter Sussex.
🎊🎉 Thank you Nick for another great tour. You’re becoming very creative with the AW’s these days. 😂 🙏
👋🏻
Had me at, steel hull... She's a beauty, I'd give up some space for an extra bunk and fuel 👍 nice work, love the weather
Good to see some modest engines and progress on hybrid systems. Nice couples cruiser.
A sensible design, good craftsmanship and decent storage to go with it. I’d be interested to see the version with the galley up and extra cabin as a comparison as it were.
Great boat if you live on a lake and love silent cruising. There's plenty of room for additional fuel and a 10K genset. A bit pricy, no doubt due to the hull construction but a real cute cruiser to take out for a weekend and fish within sight of your lakefront home.
I actually liked it. Very roomy inside and below. They didn't try to cram stuff in all the areas. Keeping it simple and functional.
Sound of wind, other noises raincoat on, one would think your going ro the North Sea /Atlantic Ocean you definitely given it the British aesthetic. Good tour Nick 👍👍.
I know I’ve said this before, but you keep showing me such nice options, Nick. I’m rather taken with this one. I could easily live full time on this. The “hidden” room could be so versatile. The hybrid drive would probably cover most of what I’d wind up doing, so would hardly ever need the diesel.
What a great boat for bimbling about the river ways of the UK. Such a good design in a compact but stylish package. Couldn’t ask for anything else for the size and price 2 cabin could be cramped but ideal for retired couple just whiling away the days. Cheers Nick.
Nice boat! Looks really high quality, I like the solid, quality materials this boat. Feels like it’d be immensely comfortable to stay on board. I’d prefer a second cabin and upstairs galley but each to their own. The idea of an extended cruise on one of these things is very appealing
Amazing tour, keep up the good work👍
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but Mr Burnham sir for what it is mainly designed for a river cruiser I like it,not particularly my type of boat I'd go for personally but if in the marked for a boat to travel the rivers and canals of Europe I' could live abroad this boat very comfortably. Nick always nice to see stuff from the norm, a cracking boat with a steel hull what not to like,a good little find thanks, all the best from Cornwall 🤗✌️👍
This would make an excellent fishing boat or river cruiser in Australia. Depending on how much space is left once the engines are upgraded for coastal use, a sea keeper and a freezer will finish this off perfectly. Maybe a slight design change to the aft deck and transom for fishing for my personal tastes but I really like this little boat. It doesn't try to put too much into too small a space.
Excellent little boat, everything you need and nothing you don't for inland cruising. It's like a mini Linssen, but made just up the road from me. Fantastic tour!
Great work Stoke on Trent! Beautiful lines and great fittings.
At first wondered about the steel hull (heavier and needs more energy ) but I guess to cruise the cannels and waterways of modern Europe you need something solid. :))
Thanks Nick for your wide ranging eye.
Me again. The galley is a big no. Otherwise great boat.
What a lovely little boat!
I really appreciate how you do tours of all sizes and types of boats, it's so nice to see the smaller ones too.
A lot of channels just don't feature them at all and just go for the glamorous yachts
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice to see that inland boats are moving more in the direction of electrification. It's about time. The technology is more than good enough now so it should be standard on all cat C and D boats now.
Nice sturdy inland criuser! Thanks for sharing! Keep those cameras rolling, Nick! 👍👍
Thanks for watching! 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC 👍👍
What a lovely boat for all year round getaways 🙌
Great little boat for river cruising. I would go for that same layout. Thank you for the tour of her Nick
My pleasure!
That is a quality piece of kit, looks like fantastic quality finished and great craftsmanship. Loads of seating and’s the way they integrate the inside with the outside is brilliant. I would suggest this could command a much higher price tag
Don't do that.
Very nice, Nick! Maggie seemed to enjoy the lounge area quite a bit.
What a beautiful boat. Love it.
What a superb vessel. It appears to have everything you could ever need for a getaway. In its Cat. B format it'd make a great multi-purpose boat; on canals, rivers, lakes, (imagine doing the Caledonian Canal), and offshore to take you round the coast too. At 12metres, it wouldn't break the bank in marina fees either. I think I'd want larger fuel capacity to double the range, but apart from that, this appears to be almost the perfect boat. I imagine she'd have a top speed of around 12, maybe 15 knots, (you didn't mention that), and if that's the case then this is pretty much the ultimate cruiser for a couple to just get away from it all.
A first-class tour and review as always. An introduction to an outstanding boat; thank you very much Nick.
6 knots
9 knots (said in the video...)
Great audio during the storm! Thanks for the tour.
My pleasure!
This is such a nice boat, with that hybrid engine. And a lot more of space, for more powerbank batteries. Probably there is an option , to add more panels to supply more batteries.. and get more range with that electric motor. Or use it for lights or something else.
Hi Nick, And a little late with my view and answer but i am imprest by this yacht this Piper 12C and for a nice decent price i think. A steel build yacht with beautiful lines i like it the cozy salon with steer house looks great the galley below or in the salon a dilemma i like it more below in the bow the master, maybe in the future a extra room in the storage room thats big space Thank you Nick a great show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
You're very welcome 🙂
Nick, nice to see a bit of British craftsmanship! 👍
Indeed!
they did well.
Love it would be interested in what the class B upgrades are.
No worries about the weather we've gotten 5 inches of snow here in the Colorado mountains this morning. Thanks as always for a great tour Nick!
WOW!
As a bachelor, I would definitely live onboard this boat. I lived onboard a 58ft narrowboat for 6 years, and although this boat is smaller, it has absolutely everything one needs. I would add a washer/dryer in that storage space though. I am not sure if I missed it, but no mention was made about onboard heating? Great review Nick.
Typical UK costal weather I see Nick. Glad you didn’t go in for an unplanned swim. What a solid well built watercraft for inland cruising.
Solar panels in this 'typical UK coastal weather'?
I love this boat! I wonder what the cat B version would be like. Plenty of options to increase range with larger tanks in the huge voids in the engine room space.
Interesting boat hybrid engines they are becoming more popular I think. At least with the petrol or diesel engine/electric engine you have more flexibility than in an all electric boat.
Inside the salon, the helm, sleeping cabin, heads, gallery and outside spaces are lovely plenty of space to move around, functional but nice decor. She is a lovely cruiser for rivers, canals, lakes and off shore, very versatile and a relaxing type of boat. Like very much
Nice semi electric yacht, I would love to travel the British rivers in one of these 🙂Thanks for the tour 😊
Nothing like semi electric. Look at the figures Nick provided.
Interesting boat, Nick. Thanks for the tour. You're the best.
Thanks for watching!
Love at first sight with this little gem
What a lovely little boat!! Ideal for the broads
A nice river boat I started my boating as a 6 year old on the river Thames. But so much prefer the sea thanks for posting another great video
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
I love the river cruisers, thanks Nick!
I'm curious how long it takes the alternator on the motor to fully recharge that bank of batteries....Greetings from Texas Nick.....John B.
Hey Nick , i am a big fan of urs ... Just because of you I started watching boat reviews seriously and got a boat yesterday.. although it's a toy boat but I'm enjoying.
Will buy one real big boy boat one day
You're got to start somewhere! 😃
Nice little river cruiser, weekender
How big are your rivers if this is little river cruiser? o_O
Great boat for Sydney waterways. Great video, keep them coming. 🇦🇺 😊
Thanks, will do!
What a fantastic boat everything you need
Nice comfortable boat. Love it !
Not a bad boat, for inland water travel, a decent power reserve. Thanks a lot for the review.
Our pleasure!
Nice. It looks very comfortable.
Terrific boat and tour. Would love this .🎉
Nice! Interesting inland cruiser.
Nice boat and good video nick 🛥🚤⛵️👏👏👏👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks 👍
That certainly is a substantial bit of steel all around, I wonder what it weighs? Great tour Nick
Givin today's ridiculously high prices for boats this is a nice boat for the price!
Yes, only in that regard.
Вот иделаьно мой формат! Прекрасная лодка! Спасибо за прекрасный, как всегда, обзор!
That's a colossal range for a small cruiser and of course you can add the electric motor range to that as well.
What a lovely vessel .
That is absolutely stunning
Huge amount of storage inside this one. I’d have mine as a category B, with a washer/dryer. I do wonder how much of that big engine room space and giant under-stair storage could be otherwise better utilized, though, with some creative interior layouts
Peter Gore Seer,
Sliding Roofs Can Leak, As Can Windows, But The Boats Are Brilliant.
That would be an awesome bachelor boat !! Thank you sir !!
You bet!
Wow this is quite a lovely boat! Wish we could get these in the USA.
Really nice boat!
Nice little boat.
Great tour Nick can you look into a tour on Parker yachts from Poland
Love it Nick ❤
Love that, nice to see a British made boat.
Ooh, very much inspired by the Dutch boats I used to own and sail :) Lovely boat! Not sure I'd sail it off-shore in that wind though!
Top boat that, totally sweet!!
Hey nick, great boat, a real charmer. Great walk through as always 😊. Is this at a boat show recently in the UK ? Love getting to as many as possible but can only see a couple on a year.
This was Southampton last year
I think the last 3 British-built boats I've seen have had portside helms... coincidence or is there something to it?
Nice boat, I like the interior on it.
Nick, the Lord knows that we love you. But, man did you have me shivering with the blustery wind in the background. Temp seems like it would be low 40s. Brrrr.
Great boat, though I am not a huge fan of a boat with only one engine. No matter how well you maintain a boat's engine it will eventually break down.
It has two, there's an electric one as well (plus breakdowns aren't a biog concern inland, you just drift into the bank and tie up 😄)
How many of us have been waiting for a tour of the perfect boat for crusing the Thames with a group of mates. I think we've found it!
Nick, I would like you to put together a video on yacht categories. ... Thanks in advance!🇨🇦
Engines are not electric, Motors are Electric, Great video Nick.
And motors are a joke.
absolutely beautiful boat.
Hi Nick, thanks for this review, but can you tell me what is needed to change this boat from cat C to Cat B All the best
Snug little boat, looks comfortable and easy to manage.
nice pants/jacket combo, popping
Style never goes out of fashion! 😎
Lovely little cruiser. However, that wind noise was making me feel chilly, lol. Looking at the flags it didn't seem too bad though, could the sound just be the wind blowing through the lines of all the yachts close by?
Love it, great video as always
What is the ratio of your viewers that have had boats vs. those that don't. I love these tours but I've never had a boat and am not trained in anyway to be able to handle a boat, but I love your explanations of the all the boats.
Me encantò.🥰 Gracias!!!!❤
Good afternoon Nick
Good afternoon Michael
That's a well thought out boat I like that and a surprise on how big the heads was with separate shower I had a little chuckle at the sidewards nick Burnham wave 👋 lol and just a quick one about helm I noticed most helms are on starboard side and very few on port is there any reason for this or is it just the makers preference
It's entirely the builder's preference. Seaward, for example, always put the helm to port.
Would it make sense to turn in the entire dining area 180 degrees, so people there have something to look at outdoors, since they have no view out of the boat through the front windows?
I realize this would take away from the appearance of a joined space, but then again, everyone will be either at the dining table, or they will all gather in the living and galley big room.
