At the risk of sounding "braggadocios" America has tens of thousands of navigable waterways, rivers and lakes that would easily accept this boat. What a utilitarian charmer. Lots of weekend cruises, fortnight vacations and tied to the dock parties await these boats. Big bonus - STEEL HUL that laughs in the face of a wooden boat's dry rot. Thanks for the tour, Nick, you've found another hidden gem!

this boat makes way too much sence for Americans! I lived with them for 35 years they dont understand things like this.

    • @scottstewart5784
      @scottstewart5784 11 месяцев назад +5

@@williamrussell3811 We understand things like this. We understand you value the slow and pokey experience of a slow river cruise on a fine evening. That the journey is as important as the destination. We understand things like this, we just don't value them the same way you do. Maybe it's because we have so many lakes and everybody wants to pull their kids behind the boat on skis or those blow up things. Or maybe it's because of the Great Loop route, where you can use the Intercoastal Waterway, rivers, and the Great Lakes to do a huge loop of six thousand of miles to become a "Looper" - nobody wants to do that on a steel boat with a wing motor. As an (in)famous American once said, "Ain't nobody got time for that!"

@@scottstewart5784 One thing I don't understand about European yachts is the fact that so many of them have little tiny grills or BBQs. Your own a boat that is big enough to entertain twenty people and they plan on grilling everyone's steak or whatever two at a time?!!! Forget about grilling vegetables with your proteins.

What a comfortable boat for one or two people to travel aboard, or plenty of room for several day guests. I really liked this boat. This might sound crazy, but in this era of tiny houses and micro apartments, this could be a comfortable live aboard for a single or couple. Plenty of storage, nice head and shower, good sized forward stateroom. Impressive. Thanks for the tour Nick.

Great boat if you live on a lake and love silent cruising. There's plenty of room for additional fuel and a 10K genset. A bit pricy, no doubt due to the hull construction but a real cute cruiser to take out for a weekend and fish within sight of your lakefront home.

I know I’ve said this before, but you keep showing me such nice options, Nick. I’m rather taken with this one. I could easily live full time on this. The “hidden” room could be so versatile. The hybrid drive would probably cover most of what I’d wind up doing, so would hardly ever need the diesel.

Nick always nice to see stuff from the norm, a cracking boat with a steel hull what not to like,a good little find thanks, all the best from Cornwall 🤗✌️👍

This would make an excellent fishing boat or river cruiser in Australia. Depending on how much space is left once the engines are upgraded for coastal use, a sea keeper and a freezer will finish this off perfectly. Maybe a slight design change to the aft deck and transom for fishing for my personal tastes but I really like this little boat. It doesn't try to put too much into too small a space.

What a superb vessel. It appears to have everything you could ever need for a getaway. In its Cat. B format it'd make a great multi-purpose boat; on canals, rivers, lakes, (imagine doing the Caledonian Canal), and offshore to take you round the coast too. At 12metres, it wouldn't break the bank in marina fees either. I think I'd want larger fuel capacity to double the range, but apart from that, this appears to be almost the perfect boat. I imagine she'd have a top speed of around 12, maybe 15 knots, (you didn't mention that), and if that's the case then this is pretty much the ultimate cruiser for a couple to just get away from it all.
A first-class tour and review as always. An introduction to an outstanding boat; thank you very much Nick.

Interesting boat hybrid engines they are becoming more popular I think. At least with the petrol or diesel engine/electric engine you have more flexibility than in an all electric boat.
Inside the salon, the helm, sleeping cabin, heads, gallery and outside spaces are lovely plenty of space to move around, functional but nice decor. She is a lovely cruiser for rivers, canals, lakes and off shore, very versatile and a relaxing type of boat. Like very much

Lovely little cruiser. However, that wind noise was making me feel chilly, lol. Looking at the flags it didn't seem too bad though, could the sound just be the wind blowing through the lines of all the yachts close by?

What is the ratio of your viewers that have had boats vs. those that don't. I love these tours but I've never had a boat and am not trained in anyway to be able to handle a boat, but I love your explanations of the all the boats.

That's a well thought out boat I like that and a surprise on how big the heads was with separate shower I had a little chuckle at the sidewards nick Burnham wave 👋 lol and just a quick one about helm I noticed most helms are on starboard side and very few on port is there any reason for this or is it just the makers preference

It's entirely the builder's preference. Seaward, for example, always put the helm to port.

Would it make sense to turn in the entire dining area 180 degrees, so people there have something to look at outdoors, since they have no view out of the boat through the front windows?
I realize this would take away from the appearance of a joined space, but then again, everyone will be either at the dining table, or they will all gather in the living and galley big room.
