I had forgotten about this track then was in a hip clothes shop in the Meatpacking district of Manhattan with a female friend who was trying on a very shimmery expensive backless dress, while she was changing into it this song bizarrely came on over the shop speakers, she came out and did a little pirouette and i fell for her even more..
I like the music of The Style Council more than the one of The Jam, and, moreover, I think that the style of the first band suits Paul much more. Am I crazy?

Just thinking something like that. However, in the States, I just wondered whether this would have cut the mustard - there was so much soul music coming out of that place. Yanks do the soul grooves, though. For some reason, it reminds me of Charles Johnson, 'Never had a love so good'. Sounds nothing like it, though, but similar cool vibe. Out.
